The People Working there are super nice and helpful, partially volunteering too. The community rooms are beautifully decorated and so creative and cozy. Our room was really clean and had kinda a nice view and the beds were designed cool and were really comfortable. They had a lot of activities to do together with other hostel visitors or in general.
They had a smaller ventilator which was good, but it was still really warm in the evening and since the beds were in the way of opening the window fully.

The bed is comfortable. They have charger, some place you can put something on in your bed,
Price a little bit high.

The quirky and friendly vibe of the place and staff. They were always willing to help. The free dinners on the couple of nights a week and activities run by the volunteers were also a highlight. The mattress was comfortable too! The location was awesome and close to several trains and trams that connects you to the old town and nearby towns as well. There are several artisan stores and interesting cafes within walking distance. Plenty of graffiti to admire around the streets of Dresden!
The lockers were a bit creaky so I had to be extra careful to open/shut them when others were napping/sleeping in the room. I'm on the petite side and the shower tub was a bit tricky to get out of.

Very convenient location.
Friendly staff.
Cleanliness.
Good price relative to the service offered.
There were some flaws with the room.
The window was not closed and the noise of the street was heard.
One bed was very squeaky, it looked like it was broken and was being repaired.

A nice hostel with activities you can join, or keep to yourself.
Lots of stairs, smell of smoke in the rooms just because of the nature of how the building is- it will waft in from neighbours. Fairly hot in summer.

The common area and the confort of the bed.
The noise made by the trams.

Really nice hostel. They organize a lot of activities making you the best experience to meet people and discover the city. The hostel is really atypical but clean, and staff is really friendly and doing his best to help you have the most pleasant stay. Although it is not localized close to the main station or oldtown the quarter is quite nice with some bars and 3 tram stations nearby to reach any point of the city. The Neustadt train station is a 10 min walk so great alternative to the main station if you come by train. To go to the old town we mostly walked (15min) but you can also take the tram. This hostel propose also a 6€ all you can eat breakfast which is okay :) The hostel also proposes some individual rooms and small studio apparently really nice, I was in a dorm and enjoy it.
Nothing much to say here, it's the best hostel I have been to so far! Localization is not perfect but still really great, I don't see any point of improvement I could propose. So just stay like this!

The location in the new town of Dresden is awesome, if you like bars, restaurants and nightlife. You are in the place to be. I also liked meeting up with other travelers in the common areas. They also offer activites and some free dinners.
My negative rating is mainly based on my room. I booked a "Comfort Single Room" including laptop, oven and kitchenware, a foldup bed and a sofa bed. My room turned out to have only a bad with an old matress and a clothes rack. All the other items mentioned were missing. Therefore I feld the room to be highly over charged and could have found a hotel for the same price. When speaking to the staff about this they told me that the room that is decribed in booking does not even exist. Also that booking.com puts details in the description which is not communicated by the accomondation. So I felt quite ripped-off. The dorms looked nice though. However I can't recommend to pay extra just to get a single room.
