An absolutely great location for seeing the city with a great breakfast, on-site parking, and a very helpful staff.

Lovely hotel a few minutes walk from the Aldstadt. All the rooms are unique...makes it very charming. Our room had a living area with a big TV. Step down to the bed and bath. Hostess, Melanie, is delightful and very engaging. Breakfast was lovely in a cozy room. Everything nice. Would stay again if in Ansbach.
Because it's on a busy street, there was a little noise. Room was a bit warm at night since the windows were in the living room area of the room. Not enough to discourage us from staying there again if we were ever in town.

Location is great. Complimentary tea, coffee and water in the lobby is a nice touch.
Our room (11) was large and we had a bath which is a luxury nowadays.
Staff were friendly.
Breakfast was fairly standard but this is the first time in years of overnighting in Germany that the breakfast boiled eggs were soft. Yum.
There is no parking and all nearby parking is very limited in the time allowed. We parked in the Brucken Centre overnight which was cheap. €3.70 for 20 hours. The carpark is closed from 8.30pm .
At €174 per night for a double -room, it is too expensive. There is no residents bar etc

location. the staff were very nice.
very expensive since it didn’t have a restaurant. there was no staff and they had to be called to check in. the first room’s heat wasn’t working and we had to call back and be moved. the breakfast was good. the parking was very hard to get into.

The best part of this hotel is the amazing and genuinely caring staff! they felt like family and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. One of the best hotel staff team i have ever experienced in all my travels. I will stay at this hotel for any future trip just for that reason!
Stronger and more consistent wifi

Style. staff, antique decor, location and price. This place was a straight up wonderful surprise. It blew my mind. It is like staying in a museum with panache.
Nothing about it wasn't great, although some struggled with a weak wifi signal, I didn't.

The location is perfect and is accessible to restaurants, shops, etc. The hotel is quaint.
The staff was very helpful when on the premises. Most times, there was no staff on the property, especially after 6pm. My smoke detector went off one night. We had to call a number to get a staff member, and it took about 20 minutes for a staff member to arrive. She removed the batteries and said someone would replace them the next day. I had to be insistent to get that done the next day. The housekeeper was the worst. She never removed dirty glasses, coffee cups, empty tissue box, etc unless you brought it to her attention. She barely made the bed on my last day. I showed the picture of the bed to the hotel staff and she apologized and took a picture from my camera.

The hotel is in a good location, right in the center.
The hotel didn't send us detailed information about COVID-related requirements before (we only knew the information we could find on the German government website). The receptionist was not friendly and did not speak English. When we arrived, we could not check in because we were still waiting for test results from the test we took the day before in the NL. We learned afterwards that we could have taken a much cheaper quick test just 5min from the hotel - again, information the hotel should have sent us, as this is near impossible to find out from abroad before travelling.
As we could not check in and didn't want to leave our stuff in the car, we asked the hotel to store our bags while we were waiting for the test results. This was around 3 PM, we said we would be back between 5-6PM.
We arrived back at 5:45 with the negative test results. The hotel was closed and the receptionist was not there. We called the phone number provided on the booking and shown on the hotel door several times but nobody answered. As our bags were locked inside the hotel we could not leave. It took us 15min to get through to someone on the phone and another 15 before the receptionist arrived. There was no apology, the person treated us in a gruff manner. Since we have been on the road since 7AM and have spent the past 3+ hours walking around in town waiting for test results we had been too exhausted at this point to search for another place to stay. Not having the reception open during the day in a hotel (even if we are the only guests) is really bad - not answering the phone immediately (or even after 3-4 tries and 10 minutes...) is unacceptable.
I guess the hotel in itself would have been an OK experience, but it was ruined for us because of the lack of information and unhelpful staff.

the breakfast was basic German type but good. very pleasant hotel with free water and coffee in the lobby. nice sitting area, across from the residence, around the corner from center of old town Ansbach. ALLL of the staff were friendly and very helpful with my wife who had a wheelchair. She loved the hotel and staff. also close to train station in pretty much a straight shot.
perhaps have still water (regular drinking water) rather than just mineral (gas).

If you love Baroque style and luxurious atmosphere - this is the perfect place for you to spend the night or two. Staff is so friendly and helpful! When we returned after a festival late at night, there was no problem at returning to our rooms. Breakfast was so plentiful and delicious. All was perfect!
