Everything was just fine.

Just a two-night stay due to a family event in the local area that weekend, so it served its purpose. The room was tidy and clean, and I could see a lot of thought went into that. The courtyard out the back is gorgeous and would be a great spot for a get together / BBQ. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked, the reverse cycle air con was great as it was a chilly weekend, the microwave and kettle facilities were great. Location very close to the main part of town, so the local shops were not far to grab some supplies. An extra blanket was available, too. I was fairly comfortable.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and provided a very positive check in experience due to a very late check in due to terrible traffic driving down from the Sunshine Coast.
Unfortunately, I assume due to the age of the building, the walls and ceilings are very thin, and you can hear absolutely everything going on outside, and the room above you (unless you get the top floor).
As it was school holidays, there were kids staying above my room who were running around until after 10pm at night, and early the next morning too (before 7am).
I was hoping for a sleep in, but unfortunately that wasn't able to be achieved. Other guests on check out morning (Sunday) were gathering around the back of the rooms having a full blown conversation and laughing. I struggle to decide if they were just excessively loud, or if the walls / doors are just not soundproof.
The car park lacks spots for guests when the building is full, but I can see there is some construction happening at the moment, and a skip bin is taking up 2-3 parks which can't be helped. One out of the 2 nights, I had to park on the street.
All in all it wasn't a terrible experience, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again during school holidays!

The room was attractive (lovely woodwork and chair in entrance), very clean, very quiet, spacious, good pressure hot shower, beds were good - each with bedside lamps and nicely made - long length on single was good, nice quiet reverse cycle a/c left on for us so room was warm on arrival, good TV, off street parking, ample milk provided and bottle of water, quiet neighbours, easy check-in after hours. Lovely court yard outside gave a welcoming feel. Big cupboard. Crockery and cutlery. It was the sort of place you could stay comfortably for a while. Helpful staff.
There was nothing I didn’t like, but it would have been helpful to have two spare blankets rather than one as there were two beds. Bed could be a little softer but it was certainly fine.

Great room and facilities have been nicely updated with a new BBQ area and coffee machines in the rooms. Very good additions and excellent value for money location. The photo is from my room window. (Up on the 2nd floor)
Nothing, all was good. The bins outside of rooms are very handy for longer stays.

We had a refurbished unit. It was beautiful. They are renovating the motel. It’s going to look amazing when finished.

On arrival the owner/manager bit my head off when asking a question. (AKA welcome to third world motel)

Good Location close to shops and parks with walking tracks.
I was disappointed that the advertised WiFi was unavailable. I suggest that not having your advertised facility available is unacceptable.

I liked the room, the location of it.
The one thing I didn't like was the wifi was not connecting to any of our phones

Location and was close to family.
The parking spots are not allocated to the rooms. When we got back to our room on Saturday night there wasn’t any parking spots available. My daughter has severe intellectual disabilities and she had many seizures during the day. I double parked the car near the 3 steps to get her into the room, and just had to hope she didn’t open the door and wander away while I moved the car up the street. I noticed there was a motor home and someone’s box trailer taking up valuable guest parking.
I will check in the future to ensure I will be guaranteed a parking space before I’d make another booking.

Location. The motel met our expectations. The decor is dated but now fashionable retro! Rooms are quite spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean but not well designed & had a very low ceiling.

The room exceptionally clean and well appointed. A little 1970's with the bathroom tired and crack in sink, but clean.
The tired bathroom.
