Staff all amazing, Quyen and Khoi really made our trip memorable and special - thank you. Beautiful hotel, lovely beach and great activities on each day, loved the jungle trail hike. Great food at the restaurant
Hotel is based in nature so just need to be prepared for insects / lizards in rooms

We've had a great time at L'Alya and did not want to leave. Our butler, Quyen, is very attentive and professional. All our requests are resolved promptly & my diet preference is taken into account when she delivers sweets & snacks at 3pm daily. The breakfast is fantastic! Both Vietnamese and Continental options are really good, though we prefer the Vietnamese options more. Nested in a bay, the water here is so calm, perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling and swimming. We did enjoy the private diner and everything here, we will be back!
The hiking guide should speak better English and should not rely on me (a Vietnamese guest) to translate. While I can do so for my husband who is a foreigner, I'm here for holiday and hiking under the heat is quite exhausting to speak & translate everything back to him and to other guests. It's the guide's job to communicate to all guests in both English & Vietnamese. As others have mentioned, lunch & dinner options are much more expensive than in town while the quality is not superior, furniture also needs an upgrade as it's getting tired. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed everything here.

Beautiful remote location.
Very very relaxing
Great staff - loved our butler, Loved the food and beverage managers, chef and waiters. The welcome team etc .
The team worked really hard to provide great service, especially with the gluten free food for my celiac husband. You must order the passionfruit brûlée! Best desert ever! They also bake their own delicious gluten free bread.

beautiful and very quiet beach, private and comfortable acommodation, lovely patio and very friendly and helpful staff <3
Everything was awesome

Great Location with stunning view on the nearby nature (sea, rocks etc). Very quiet and a perfect place to relax.
The villas are clean and lack of nothing. Also are the villas a very private spot, you can’t see your neighbors.
Complementary activities included (like Jungle Trail or Yoga) which are nice to have to spend some time appart from „beaching“.
Breakfast very good, the quality is good and you have a big variety of western food and Vietnamese cuisine.
Further activities and also the restaurant are very pricy compared to the price level of Vietnam.
The prices (for the restaurant and activities) are on US / EU hotel level and the quality was not adequate for that price.
Further the staff has a very poor understanding of English, what often ends up in misunderstandings (make yourself comfortable to repeat what you said many times)

an absolute incredible getaway, in a quiet secluded location. a place to relax and unwind the resort was beautiful and villa was well equipped with comfy bed, tv, full villa speakers. we had a villa up in the rocks and felt very private. the staff are lovely and go above and beyond, they have activities during the day while not the best they are free and fun, lots to explore. the breakfast was incredible with lots of options. unforgettable 4 nights of relaxation and paradise
if we’re being honest the food is very overpriced for what you get, even local food you are paying 10x the amount you would in the city, this is fine if you expect 10x the quality but it just isn’t. either better food or cheaper prices is needed.
resort was very quiet when we came and seemed like often beach bar didn’t have any staff at maybe because it was quiet.

-we loved the privacy, villa secluded in the threes
-very nice privat pool
-huge villa
-very delicious food
-organised airport transport was good with no problems
-Having a privat Buttler fussing around us was a bit to much sometimes for us, even tough he ment well
-Just one stand up paddle and you have to pay 10$ per hour, thats a bit stingy

Fuss free airport transfer (advanced booking required with a fair price) with a boat ride over to the peninsular.
Warmly greeted upon arriving with an early check in to the lagoon villa which came with a private pool! Our Butler, Quyen was exceptional and always ready in responding to our queries. The villa itself was spacious and came well stocked with drinks, fruit platter and sweet desserts daily.
Happy hour at the beach bar was really relaxing, meals prepared at the restaurant were superb. The staff of the resort were always with a smile and despite some issues with language, everything was perfect.
For couples looking to be away from all the noise of the city, do consider this resort as an option!
Some of the Complimentary activities required payment which was not explained clearly.
6.0 / 10.0
- very beautiful location
- solid service, even though some lack English proficiency
- the hill top hut was very nice and the private pool is a great feature
- breakfast was overall good
- besides the breakfast the food & kitchen was poor. The "local food" was mostly tasteless, uninspired and poorly crafted.
- literally every street food option would be better and at least 10 times cheaper. Simple dishes that are 1$ in HCMC are 10$ here and worse.
- during our stay (keep in mind, we could only ate what they served and did not leave the premise) we had severe food poisoning and we're unable to leave our room for a full day. The hotel staff insisted that it could not be the kitchen and it was "just the weather". We travel a lot, we know what food poisoning is. This inability to admit mistakes and make them right impacted the overall experience and was a strong contrast to the otherwise exceptional service.

Absolutely stunning. The villa was beautiful and spacious, with a private pool and amazing views. The grounds are great and easy to move around in. Service was impeccable and the food was also fantastic.

Friendly staff and good service
Secluded and private
Good mix of western and traditional dishes
The villa itself was gorgeous
Good blend of ocean and jungle
Food and non-complimentary activities can be quite pricey as they are catered to foreigners/tourists

Service pick up from station and send us to the airport made the trip much easier and hassle free. Staffs did always smile to us, give us what we need immediately. Our butler is cute & caring always gave us what we needed nearly right away, also she suggested all we need to do. Cannot expect more than that. Another highlight is restaurant, chef here really know how to satisfy you by foods. There were Viet, western, Thai, Korean & Japanese cuisine. All were good high quality can compare to any 5 stars restaurant in Saigon. Breakfast were amazingly delicious & various! You give yourself a few days of recharging in this little paradise

Beach and restaurant is good. Breakfast is delicious. Especially the staffs are very kind and supportive.
Need to find the way to take out the lizard and bugs. Even the window and doors are closed but many bugs and lizards are inside of the room. Quite scared.

Breakfast very good , leaning to wards more local than international. Quality was there but would like to have seen more international breakfast food . Eggs benedict , english / american breakfasts.
Smoothies and more probiotic selection of yogurts
The whole place was super relaxed , great location , great spa reasonable rates, the staff always around for you but leave you to your own space. Loved the fact the resort was so natural you really felt like you were in 6 star castaway!
Not much really , minor things, music in the beach bar and restaurant at night could be more relaxed like the breakfast vibe.
In the villas the lighting and mood in intimate , however need better light at the vanity area.
