Relaxing stay with beautiful turquoise sea views

Staff are very welcoming, friendly, pay attention to detail and aim to please. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. Lying by the pool on a lounger is bliss. The view of the beautiful turquoise Mon Choisy Beach is mesmerizing. It's a pleasant 5-10 minute walk under shade of Casuarina trees to the Mon Choisy beach. We found a nice little restaurant 600m away (Refresh restaurant) with excellent food and homemade rum. The area feels more quiet and residential than the busy Grand Baie area.

In this location it would be better to have a car (we did not) so we had to take a bus to Trou-aux Biches to the nearest supermarket (Chez Popo) 2.5kms away.

The Best Staff

We had an amazing stay at Mon Choisy Beach Resort. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool area is lovely and looks out to sea. It's a lovely quiet area minutes from the beach. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance and getting taxi's to other busier areas is easy enough. Would recommend going to the Super U in Grand Baie for supermarket needs which is a short bus or cab ride. What makes this hotel great is the amazing staff. We would like to say a special thank you to the maids that helped dress us in our traditional wedding outfits and looked after us whilst we were there. Cindy was great and helped us with booking excursions, answering questions and arranging a car from before we arrived in Mauritius. A massive thank you to the best reception team Fatima, Trishna and Sanjay who helped us so many times! We miss you all already!

Sehr schöne Urlaubstage

Sehr freundliches Personal und hat sich immer um alles gekümmert. Außerdem hat uns der Poolbereich sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Leider ist der Ort eher ruhig, wenig Restaurants. Dafür kann aber das Hotel nichts.

Une seule bouteille d eau mis à dispo lors de l arrivée et après obligé de Payer chaque jour pour en avoir une nouvelle ( au prix des logement c est abuser). Les chaînes tV-> impossible d avoir les les chaînes françaises

Gammalt hotell som behöver renoveras, och städas.

Det var nära till stranden.

Välj något annat det är inte som på bilderna. Gammalt boende, hotellet var inklämt på en för liten tomt för att maxa antalet rum, det är endast gaveln som har havsutsikt där är även den enda och lilla poolen. Ingen sandstrand i anslutning till hotellet men du kan ta ett dopp där. Rummen är gamla men ok med städningen är undermålig. Hotellet va säkert bra för 10-15 år sen och väldigt mycket detaljer som tyvärr inte är bra, Ex mögliga parasoll, gamla vitvaror som är gulnade i plasten. m.m.. det finns ingen resturang på hotellet, det är även långt till mataffären, tur att vi hade hyr bil.

Good value for money

The staff are great. Great location. The premises are well equipped. Bed, comfort and cleanliness are above average.

We booked this resort hoping that it'll be connected to main hotel but they're in separate locations. We were thus disappointed that the evenings were too sombre as there's nothing else to do. No entertainment. There's no beach directly outside this facility but the mile stretch of the finest public beach in the whole island is just next door.

In Ordnung,aber würden wir nicht wieder hin.

Die Unterkunft war fast direkt am Strand und der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Die Reinigungsdame war super süß und freundlich.

Preis/Leistung. Teilweise schon lange nicht mehr unter der Nachttischlampe geputzt,Schimmel an der Duschwand und ein muffiger Geruch die ganze Zeit. Frühstück hätte extra gekostet.

good place to stay if you have own conveyence

The sea view studios are really well located. The sea view is amazing. However the garden view is not that great

The location of the property. unless you have your own transportation arrangement, it is very difficult to get your own groceries as any shop is not on walking distance pulse all the food joints except one( which is very costly) are 3-4s away. Since local transportation is very limited and it stops after 6 pm, it is quite disadvantogeous

Superb

-location is great, next to one of the nicest beaches and quiet. Also have mystik next door which has a bar etc -great staff, groundskeeper (?) was very nice and attentive. -housekeeping service was great. Kitchenette was enough for us -they supplied olive oil and balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper by default, for cooking etc. Nice touch to avoid people waste fully buying a bottle of it for a shot stay👍🏼

-WIFI speed is really quite bad, and whilst inside the apartments you will struggle to use mobile data as a backup because the phone signal in the apartment area isn’t great. -Ants in the kitchenette, loads of mosquitos around (we didn’t open the door too much either) -Lavazza blue coffee machine is good but even the nearby hypermarkets don’t sell the lavazza pods), something to keep in mind (40 rupees for 1 pod from reception)

I like the area around the pool and the view from it. Direcr access to the beach. Rooms are fine, staff really friendly and they have parking space avaialable. Few restaurants are in walking distance, however car is more or less needed.

Rooms with garden view are a little bit more dark, personally I would take the ocean view. Issues with mosquitos.

Our room was extremely comfortable and to the point. We had a garden view, but I would recommend the ocean facing room. The reception staff were very helpfull, especially Sanjay!

There resort does not have a restaurant on the property, but they do have a free shuttle service to take guests to their sister restaurant for dinner and breakfast

The place is perfect, big rooms with a kitchenette and tv. Beautiful pool area and view. Staff were amazing, especially Fatima she was super friendly and helpful. She arranged a beach bbq dinner for us at their sister hotel.

A lot of mosquitos at reception but that was unavoidable

Access to restaurants, although there is a hotel next door that has an on-site restaurant. A shuttle to their sister restaurant is available but we were unlucky to have only themed nights available for 2 out of 3 nights

Lovely place, lovely people. Hotel staff superb.

Continental breakfast served in room was no more than ok, our view and balcony superb- we would have been very disappointed in any other of the blocks.

No bar no restaurant so little opportunity to socialise.

Value for money! Hotel was definitely even prettier in real life and our room was spacious, cleaned daily. We did not see it as a problem that there is no supermarket really close, because the bus station is right outside. There were not many restaurants around but Grand Bay is also just a bus ride away. As mentioned, amazing Mon Choisy beach is right outside. We really enjoyed our stay and hotel staff was also really professional and lovely. Will recommend!

Fantastic place!!

The location is really great next to Mon Choisy beach and very close to Trou aux Biches. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop, close to the hotel you can find 2-3 great restaurants. Rooms are very clean, the veranda is superb where the breakfast is served to your room and all facilities in the room are perfect. Very good wi-fi connection. The garden and the pool are really nice! Great staff and really good service for the price!

The breakfast can be more various and to include some cheese and ham because all the products are sweet only(fruits, confiture, yogurt, etc.).

Very nice stay in lovely surrounding

Very nice location near two beautiful beaches. Nice pool with a view. New buildings with aesthetic rooms. Beautiful and well maintained garden. Kitchenette well equipped. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Comfortable bed. Also coffee machine available, what I find very good. Water and some basic snacks are available to be bought on the reception.

unfortunately near the premises there was no grocery or a small store. Also availability of restaurants is very limited. It’s recommended to have a car available or take bus. Bus station is near. Intercontinental breakfast offered on site, for additional charge, is nice but very basic. Hard to imagine for me to eat it few days in the row. 2-3 options could be offered.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Sanjay made us feel very welcome, Sheila was super friendly and kept our room immaculate and Nathan was very helpful as we wanted to check in early morning.

Tropical garden on the shores

It was easy to arrive to the parking lot in front of the hotel. The garden is a beatiful well-kept tropical garden that leads to a swimming pool, that comes with a beatiful view to the ocean. There is a door by the poolside that leads to the ocean shore and can be opened with the hotel key-card. The breakfast is minimal, but it was delicious. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and clean, the staff is very helpful.

The doors include security locking features, so it's almost impossible to close them silently. During the night it the door were slammed by other guests, so a couple of times it was uncomfortable to wake up to it.
