Cosy and welcoming and everything there

Tea/coffee facilities and prepacked croissants were adequate for our needs. If you required a full English breakfast there is a cafe opposite the premises.
An excellent Thai food menu was available with a very friendly bar service.
Secure and adequate car parking.
Given the price payable I can honestly say that there was anything that we did not like.

Cheap bed for one night and a decent pint the bar.

Location was convenient.
Noisy. Bed was all springs. No headroom in shower. Toilet next to bed 'gurgled' when other toilets in other rooms flushed. Smell from toilet when this happened. Tea making facilities except kettle. Both ceiling light and bedside lamp flickered.(epileptics beware). Thin walls, heard all sorts from adjoining rooms. Enough said.

Comfy bed, brilliant pillows. Had a brilliant nights sleep. Dinner -Thai food was supper yummy. Friendly and welcoming staff. Was shown to our room as well. Perfect location 2 min walk away from Bexley train station which goes straight to London bridge. So thank you Kings Head for our stay 😊

It was a very nice place, in an old characteristic building. Low beams and a maze to get to the rooms.
There is also a nice little area where you can sit and prepare drink and food.
Struggled to sleep due to the noise from the pub, but it was a Saturday night and we were in the room overlooking the outside area.
TV a bit small and quiet.
The sink in the ensuite is too small and the shelf above it made it awkward to wash.

The staff were fantastic. The pub was lovely
The rooms were awful. It should have been stated that they were so small with low ceilings, our room door didn’t open fully, it hit the end of the bed, that was the room size

The staff were very helpful.
The building is extremely old and very interesting.
In our twin room - the toilet was very small, so I think that if you removed the shelf from the wall mirror it would give more room to actually get in and turn around.
We stayed two nights, but after the first night there was no room make up.
My bed - nearest window - had a large spring that needed bending back a bit.
The food menu was entirely Thai cuisine, so we had to go to another restaurant to eat on both nights - otherwise we would have eaten at the venue.

Excellent pub great location Excellent food great service.
The mattress in room 2 desperately needs changing. Although the room is very clean the mattress has seen better days.

This was the ideal place for me to stay overnight. The room was perfect and the staff really friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this pub/hotel.
Perhaps the choice of menus. In the end I ate elsewhere, there was a wedding party the day I stayed and I think the staff were very busy with that.

Staff were friendly. Great location. Decent fan provided. Food at the pub amazing.
No opening window in my room. TV very high on the wall.

Great price compared to other places in the area. Easy to check-in, and once you've checked in you can come back whatever time you need. Basically, if you just need a room for the night in the Bexley area, it fits the bill just right. Will be using again in the future, most likely.
I only have one negative, which is the bed comfort. I stayed in room 2 - one of the single rooms - so I don't know if this applies to any other rooms, but the mattress in this room was very obviously the cheapest, thinnest open coil mattress they could have chosen. That or it was an older mattress that is past its prime.
I'm not expecting luxury by any means; in the end it is a low cost room. But it's just unfortunate that the main thing you're staying for - a room to sleep in - is let down by the most important factor of that experience. That being said, I would happily stay here again in the future.
