The one bedroom apartment was nice, spacious and had all great amenities.
We found the property ran down. It needs a lot of love. For example, the glass railing on balcony had white paint all over them, they have 2 billard tables but the queues were all broken. The gym had very old equipment, no big deal, but the ceiling was all moldy, you can smell the mold when walking in the gym. The pools were gross with a filthy film floating. There wasn’t any sort of water flowing/filtration. Food and drinks were extremely overpriced for the quality.

The staff is incredible! They are from all over the globe and have an authentic desire to deliver service to their guests. The beach is wonderful and private. The decor is lovely, airey, and clean. The food at Baia Lounge (not sure of spelling) was wonderful and the experience was magical. The food & beverage throughout is great.
The cleaning staff (of the rooms) could do better. My room only received turn down service 1 night, the other nights we didn't receive it. Our 1st day they didn't clean our room, although I don't know if it was a miscommunication. We also noticed a wine glass was left in the hallway all day.
For the price of the rooms, you should not face the back towards the Moxi construction. Those rooms should be greatly discounted. For the cost, you should offer a few free snacks throughout the day (W Hotel does this), i.e. popsicles, smoothies, coconuts, authentic DR snacks.

The amazing staff, clean beach, the clean room.
The location of my room.

The staff was friendly over all. But someone stole my national geographic magazine.
The concierge never explained the policy of not having guests in your hotel room. The elevator was broken. It would take you downstairs but wouldn't take you upstairs. My comforter and sheets were dirty. The shower flooded my room floor and was never tended to. The air conditioning leaked from the ceiling. The refrigerator was not cool and an alarm on that went off at 6am. They didn't want to change my room until I threatened to sue if I fell on a damp floor. They changed the room but I got locked out on the balcony for 2 hours because they don't have a security feature on the balcony glass door. It's a nice hotel ground wise but overall I had too many bad experiences in just 4 days.

Wonderful stay!
We are very happy about our experience - the qualified and friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, amazing breakfast. Everything was according to our expectations and better!
Special thanks to Marta for caring and recommendations. It's very convenient that the hotel has its own Whatsapp group where you can get support 24/7. There was nothing additional for us to ask, everything was provided. If we are in Dominican again, we'll definitely stay here another time!
