This place was beautiful. I loved the feeling of isolation, while still being very close to any and everything. It was a magical weekend and can’t wait to do it again.

Everything was perfect for me and my family. Before we went, I reached out to the contact person to see if it was possible for us to bring a real Christmas tree to put up in the house since we were staying through Christmas, and she allowed us to have one. It was a beautiful place and it was everything we was wanting including being secluded for us to have real family time together. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area again.

We had a wonderful new year getaway, a minor issue at arrival but it was solved fast and we got to enjoy to the fullest, the cabin has everything you may need and pretty new, comfortable beds and a full kitchen perfectly equipped, I recommend this property to all!

We enjoyed our fall weekend getaway! The hose was the perfect size with everything we needed. The views in this property during fall are gorgeous! Location was perfect. We visited Hayesville, Hiwassee, blairsville. We drove up to brass town bald and bell mountain. Perfect weekend!

Beautiful cabin.

We enjoyed the cabin so much! The location was perfect and it was easy to find. It was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. The screened in front porch was probably our favorite. It did have a steep driveway but our SUV made it up just fine. It rained most of the weekend, so we enjoyed relaxing and exploring the cute town of Hayesville, My only note is that the cabin didn't have a grill or dishwasher. It did matter because it was just the 2 of us but both were listed in the listing. It was super clean and although we didn't use it, the other bedroom had a queen & twin bed. Overall, it was the perfect cabin for the perfect weekend!

My wife and I spent a long weekend celebrating our anniversary. The cabin and property was gorgeous. The surrounding area and amenities all we had hoped for and more.

VRBO WAS LOUSY
Property was great. VRBO was lousy. No information about check in or check out. Had to contact property manager for info that VRBO should have sent. Why do I pay VRBO a service fee if they don't do anything!

Weekend getaway
My husband and I stayed for a weekend as a quick getaway. The home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch and listening to the rain on the metal roof. As some other reviews have mentioned, the driveway is quite steep, but we made it up in our minivan just fine.

Gorgeous and Peaceful
It was so nice to sit on the screened-in front porch and leisurely drink our morning coffee and then listen to the night sounds before bedtime. The whole house was exceptionally clean with lots of comfy furniture. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a washer and dryer as well. There was plenty of room to spread out and 2 bathrooms - one upstairs and one down. The location is quite remote and even though there were other houses in the area they were well camouflaged with trees so you felt isolated. We had zero cell reception and had to drive about 15 miles to find minimal service, but there was WiFi in the cabin if you have access to WiFi voice calls.

Beautiful place in the mountains
I truly enjoyed staying at the cabin. Very clean very comfortable. The only thing I would advise if you are driving a normal car without four-wheel-drive it can be very challenging to get up the slope to park.

Quiet, nice, clean cabin
Overall, my experience was good. Owner was very helpful and the place was very clean.
I did have an issue with VRBO in reference to the reservation. I did not recieve any information pertaining to address of cabin, check in process or where the keys were at upon arrival at cabin. I just received info about the rental rules. There was absolutely no cell signal at the cabin so I could not call for assistance. The Owner was very responsive and she gave me location, code to get the lock box open for key before I arrived to the cabin. She also checked up on us that Friday night. Very thoughtful of her. Unhappy with VRBO and Evolve vacation rental in reference to check in process. No email or instructions.

Booking was very easy. Cabin was exactly as described. Lots of room for the 4 of us. Loved that the master bedroom upstairs so the kids could stay up as late as they wanted. Very clean with everything necessary. Loved sitting on the front porch in the morning drinking coffee while the family slept in.Driveway was a little tricky as my SUV had a hard time making it up. Recommend 4WD or AWD. We spent one day chasing waterfalls in Franklin and Highlands and another day in the Smokies. Both within an hour drive. Would have been nice to have a guidebook of things to do in the area with maps or brochures . Overall great getaway, nice to unplug.

Peaceful & comfortable
Peaceful, clean, comfortable and convenient location. Could even at times hear the creek that was off in the distance & loved the night time darkness. Great layout & has everything you need. Comfy beds and internet worked well. We did not have cell reception so a "home" phone would have been a nice addition as I could not figure out how to work the wifi calling feature on my phone. The bonus room is actually the master bedroom closet and does not have ductwork but would work well for small children. We would stay there again.
