This is an absolutely beautiful property. Hidden away from the cities in a very quiet location with wonderful facilities to relax and recharge. My wife enjoyed the yoga classes and our son enjoyed the pools. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are well appointed and the staff are tremendous in their attention to detail making your stay very comfortable. The food at breakfast was delicious and even used the restaurant for our dinners which were great too. We also used the bikes to explore the quieter villages and rice fields in the area, which was a nice touch to have them available.
There are some wooden structures around that are wonderful but in need of a little TLC to bring them back up to top form. This doesn't compromise the function or comfort of the facilities though. The bikes could also use a bit of attention to keep them going but they also work well enough or now.

We chose De Moksha because of the yoga classes and they were really great. Four classes to choose from and all the instructors were wonderful. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The staff delightful. The on-site restaurant was high quality, if a bit more expensive than outside places. We had a villa with a private pool which we loved but the other larger pools were great too. We used the bicycles to get to Tanah Lot and to the surfing beach.
Our wooden deck needed a bit of attention, it split in one spot. Although we used the bicycles they are not maintained very well. Another saucepan in the kitchen would be useful. Walking anywhere is challenging so best to go by bike or car.

The bed was comfortable
The room wasn’t the room we booked.
We complained to reception but they said it was correct. They said that our private hot tub we should have had was actually a normal bath!
We should have had a separate bedroom-we did not. Cleaning was of a poor standard.
Finally, our garden view was indeed a view of the local stream complete with the local sewage etc.
Horrible.

The breakfast was relative good. There is a do it yourself juicer which was something i did not expect.
The room is not clean. Inside the water boiler, there was remnant water used by the previous occupant and that was disgusting. Inside the bathroom, there was no warm water. I had to bathe in cold water at night. It is difficult to find transportation to the hotel. If you go out to nearby places at night, the taxi will charge you an exorbitant rate to get you back to the hotel. The least the hotel staff could do is to inform all the guest of the local situation.

the staff were super friendly, breakfast was to die for - the smoothie bowls are amazing (and their security dog arma was always down for pats at breakfast). massages in house were great.
just a bit further out than we realised. but easy to fix with a driver.

The staff were friendly, the pool was nice and the place was beautiful. It was nice to get away for a few days
From the bustle of Bali
The walls of our room were a bit mouldy and the bed was quite worn out. Unfortunately there were quite a lot of bugs that slipped through into our room despite efforts to keep it all shut up. It’s a nice enough place but very remote

This is an outstanding place. We hoped for peace, tranquility and a genuine Bali experience without too many tourists. It was perfect in every way. The staff were charming, the hotel facilities gorgeous with two beautiful pools, the room was wonderful and the location is lovely, just outside a very normal village and only 15 minutes cycle ride from a beautiful coastal town with a lovely temple. A perfect peaceful retreat.

The staff were brilliant, nothing was a problem for them. Loved the infinity pool, outdoor bath/bathroom, the gardens, rooms were good, massages were very good and it was peaceful. Was a great location for us as we had a wedding to attend at Villa Vedas.
It could do with some maintenance on the building. A bit disappointed with the dinner meals but breakfast was good.

Location was amazing and very supportive staff. All the issues we faced were well supported and resolved. Amazing spa do not forget to try it.
Too many ants, and some lizards which scared my wife, dirty private pool and not so private.

very polite staff
the deluxe rooms that we were given were run down, in dire need for renovation and better maintenance. we had a situation of overpromise and underdeliver. fortunately, after two nights we were placed in one of their newer villas which was a better experience.
we booked regretably their new years eve event. definite dissapointement both food and entertainement..
very slow internet.. i measured between 2-4 mbs..

We loved the place and staff, surrounded by green.
Overall facilities look a bit old, run down.

De Moksha is a nice resort with an onsite restaurant and spa. The outdoor bathroom was beautiful and having a private use pool was great (the pool itself is very exposed to the footpath and people/staff walking by). Staff were really friendly. The gardeners did an amazing job to keep the place looking great. The free breakfast was nice with coffee, fruit and bread + a breakfast main from the menu.
The rooms were very dark and the bulbs are dim (but this could just be power in Indonesia I'm not sure). Some extra deep cleaning in places is needed but the day-to-day cleans were great

I love the public pools and our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly too
I didn’t like the food. Food was off and cold for the 2 nights and only 2 devices can use wifi per room which 80% did not work at the time

The rooms were beautiful. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had an amazing tub. The private pool was nice and the main pools were great as well. Breakfast was great.
I didn’t like that I couldn’t get bottled water. They refilled a glass jar whenever I requested. However I ended up getting Bali belly and wasn’t sure if it was from the water or something I ate.

how quiet it was, even though we just booked a room it felt like we booked the whole resort, enough pools, scenery was amazing and lots of privacy
the only improvement I could say is maybe just add 1 or 2 more options for inclusive breakfast
5.0
We are allergic to gluten and milk, but it wasn’t a problem here because the restaurant has options for breakfast and lunch or dinner. The public infinity pool is amazing.
The wifi is not so well, and it caused some issue during working.
