QUIET PLACE OFF THE MOTORWAY

This small hotel is just off the motroway, so good for a stop-over. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything functioned (TV, heating, wifi). The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious enough. It was quiet and just great for a good night's sleep. Free parking also.

There was no staff. And it was a bit sad. Everything was clear, how to get into the room, etc. Though after a long journey, would have been nicer to meet a human being. Earlier there was someone to welcome the guests. There is a water kettle in the corridor which needs cleaning from time to time. The soap in the bathroom could have been a bit better. But there is not too much to complain about for the more than friendly price.

Good but WiFI was not working.

Comfortable room. Food good.

The WiFi did not work. when I asked the owner to fix it she was quite rude and did not sort it out. Fortunately her son came along later and got it working. This happened on my previous visit too. I would say that the WiFi is not fit for purpose. The hotel should not state it has WiFi if it does not work properly.

nice and clean location for stopping over during a long drive not too far from the motorway, run by staff ready to adapt

responsive staff. adapted to our timing needs. very quiet. comfortable bed. instant hot water in the shower. perfect for a single night.

heating in the room was a little too much for me. could easily be solved. Price for breakfast came as a surprise (€8,50 for rolls, butter, jam, cheese, cold cuts, and tea/coffee) - I didn’t read the complete confirmation email .

Kind people, clean and warm little room with a clean bathroom. Excellent (traditional) kitchen and the biggest variety of products in a vending machine I have ever seen.

Comfortable Gasthof that normally provides excellent food.

Friendly Gasthof that we were staying at for the 2nd time. It had been nicely refurbished during the Covid outbreak including small fridges in the rooms. Previously the food was excellent (but see below) and staff helpful.

Due to staffing problems due to the Covid outbreak no meals were available on Mon or Tues nights. We had difficulty finding an alternative restaurant and bought sandwiches from a local Spar. Normally the food at this Gasthof is excellent.

Beautiful guest house in a wonderful location. Friendly staff, spotless cleanliness and order!

However, if you do not speak German, Slovenian or Croatian, it is very difficult to get into the hall. There is a restaurant opposite the pension and the receptionist is there too. But there is no sign that they were found there. We arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening, I called the pension but I could only communicate in German, Slovenian or Croatian, unfortunately I don't speak any of them. I couldn't even say who I was and what I wanted. Nobody at 9pm, where should I go with a small child, where can I find accommodation? Luckily my wife saw someone walking around the empty restaurant, it was the receptionist, we knocked on the door through the glass, and then she let us in to the reception. The bell didn't ring!!!!! We tried calling several times. We have the keys, this is the direction of the room.:) Oops, no WiFi code has been posted or published anywhere. No problem ---- I tried to ask on the phone, unfortunately the nice lady didn't understand that we wanted a wireless connection option.:( Sorry, we don't go here anymore

Nice stop on our way south

Like the last time a very friendly welcome by the sweet lady who owns the place. Nice, comfotable beds.

Because all the rooms are in a long hallway and some guests were singing and talking really loud, we slept late and woke up early.

The room was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and very clean. The breakfast was good as was the evening meal. Highly recommended.
