The room had obviously been renovated recently and the furniture and fittings were in good condition and looked nice.
The smell of damp was thick and heavy through the entire building. Which was like an abandoned hostel from a horror movie. At the end of a derelict plaza with no remaining shops open, and a pack of stray dogs, and a group of youths who took great joy in heckling us as we walked past.
In the end we didn’t stay the night as my father was not comfortable staying in such a building and we had to rebook for somewhere else.

the room is good and comfortable.
the environment around and the building outside look scary. i worry about security

staff was amazing, very clean
photos was misleading

Clean and comfortable place close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly.
Wifi dropped out intermittently but swapping to other network would fix it.

Nice spacious room and a little terrace bit we could dry our clothes on. Warm shower. Reception staff very helpful at arranging our onward travel.
There were blood stains on our bed and the door to the outdoor terrace did not lock properly - it opened when you locked the main door making us feel our belongings were not safe.

good staff, many restaurants around the hotel, some events in front of the hotel
insects in the room, broken door, some residents were loud

Clean
Paper walls. It felt like soviet union dormitory, which isn't bad but not on koh chang. Paid 5 nights and spend 1. Then I rather moved somewhere else. Pictures aren't real and rooms are much darker than it is presented

The staff at the habitat were really nice and able to help with all our queries. The room was clean and big enough for the both of us to relax.
Unfortunately the location was not good and there are some fake pictures on the hostels profile aka false advertising. We didn't feel particularly safe here and there were very few cafes/restaurants/other travellers around.

The place was clean and comfortable. The beach is about 7 minutes walk away with more than a handful of food options within 100m. Forgot something behind when checking out and the owner was kind enough to post it to Bangkok, where I was on the next part of my travels. Great professional staff that made me feel at ease while traveling. Would definitely return if I'm ever back in Koh Chang again!
Nothing!

Clean and comfy place
I chose this property because.they say they accept card payments but when I got there they said that they accept it only above 1000 batt. I find the limit excessive and most of all I don't like this kind of policies where customers are not told the clear truth from the beginning.
Plus the location of the place in the island is not nice. Quite isolated from the main places

We stayed twice in two diferent room, one had super hard bed, almost like sleeping on the floor. The second one had a standard one and was perfect.
Location is good in centre of village with lots of food options and close to the beach.
4.0
The staff is friendly and helpful. The Habitat is centrally located, which made it easier to access most places on the island. Our room was spacious.
Our original room was filled with mosquitoes, so we had to request another room. Staff was quick to help with this request. Although signs are posted to remain quiet in the hallway, guests were often talking and making noise at all hours of the night.
