Nice house with a garden from where you have a good view. Friendly family and very good meals. Vodo welcomes her guests with overwhelming warmth and friendliness. We had two small bedrooms and shared the small bathroom with the other guests.
We liked our stay

We had such a lovely stay! The family were so welcoming and charming and made us feel right at home. It was lovely just sitting in the garden, watching the animals - and the dinner we got served was the most delicious!!

Vodo is a very sweet and welcoming. She makes it feel like a home away from home. Her food and chacha are amazing. We had a really nice stay with her and would definitely stay with her again!

Real Georgian hospitality and the best food we had so far in guesthouses. The Nonna was so welcoming and we really enjoy a confortable bed and the dinner. Definitely worth it

We had some problems during the hike, which Vodo and her daughter helped us solve so that we were able to continue. Dinner was huge and there’s a sunset view from the garden.

Food at Vodo's guesthouse is amazing (and a lot!)! All made by mother herself. The family is very friendly and helpful. Their homemade wine was delicious.

Great owner. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great location.
Room was little bit cold but nothing horrible.

Small but comfortable room with a portable heater which is a big plus as the night can get chilly. The highlight for us was the dinner which was fantastic. Vodo is such a great cook. Though language barrier, we could
somehow communicate.
The bathroom type is the “wet” type as the shower is not separated from the toilet. This is a common thing in the village, which is totally fine, providing that the floor is built in such a way that the water can go directly to the sewage system. This is not the case here, which makes the bathroom flooded with water each time someone takes a shower.

You can feel as a Local really good room and quiet, the place is on the way to Iprari big house.

We loved our stay in Vodo's guesthouse. After 4 nights, we ended up getting to know Vodo a bit better, and we got along very well. Our room and bathroom had been renovated recently and were both very comfortable and clean. We also asked her to cook for us a few times, and she gave us many delicious things to try, most of them local dishes with homegrown veggies and local cheese. Her son Kaxa was also very friendly and respectful. If we ever go back to Chvabiani, we will definitely stop by to say hi! ღმერთმა დაგლოცოს, ვოდო, and thanks for everything!

The host (Vodo) was very nice and friendly, despite not speaking any English and she cooked us some nice food.
The location is also nice, as it's on the path towards Adishi.
The view from the window was great too, with an old tower right in front of us.
The price for the room is also very low.
The room and toilet are very very basic - you pay what you get.
The room's floor was very tilted to one side, so you would have your feet higher than your head when sleeping, which isn't great.

Vodo was extremely nice and friendly- she came outside and waited for 15 minutes just to come greet us and escort us inside. For most of the guesthouses on the Mestia-Ushguli trek, you will walk up to the guesthouse very underwhelmed by its outside appearance (usually a bit dilapidated)- Vodo's is no exception- but walk inside and the interior is nice, pleasant, and finished.
We sighed in relief once we saw our room, which had a nice big bed for a couple. The bathroom +shower was fine as well.
Best of all was the hospitality and the food. There was breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was especially delicious and Vodo kindly helped us pack some up for the road. We were very glad we went with Vodo's gueshouse and recommend it :D
It's hard to pick something I didn't like. It's not a 5-star hotel but the accommodations were very nice for staying in a rural village in Georgia!

Our dinner was fantastic, as was breakfast. The hostess was a friendly, caring woman that we could not understand very well but we could make it work. She let us decide what time to eat. We paid +5GEL for a large dinner which was worth it.
there was no wifi.
