very helpful owner. our flight was canceled and he was all the time curries about us and our trip. very good location , close to airport, only 12min. walk. especially if you have "bad " time flights. newly renovated. clean and comfortable

The accommodations were wonderful. Our host Joao was great. Close to the subway so I can get down to city's center easily. Close to the airport but very quiet. Highly recommend this place.

The Snug - something different!

This was a lovely quirky venue separate from the house in a converted garage - so very quiet. It had a walk in shower, small but functional kitchen/diner and nice separate bedroom. The owners were lovely and even walked us down to the local restuarant and got us a table at 10pm!!

It wasn't quite as close to the airport as we had thought. It is walkable with light luggage - but the cobbles and distance prevented us from walking with our golf clubs - so took a taxi. The airport taxi charged us for the luggage etc and so a 2 minute ride cost approx 20 Euro's . Not a good start for us!! It is in the middle of a residential one way street with very limited parking so could only be found with googlemaps.

Nice stay but not quite ready to rent

Very nice room, but there was construction going on right outside on host’s property. This should have been disclosed. We had to close all drapes and windows in the bright afternoon for privacy. Host did offer another room next door but we didn’t feel it solved the problem and it wasn’t what we’d rented. Second experience with this problem in Portugal—it’s a hot rental market and hosts are too quick to rent even if construction is not finished.

So beautiful. Everything you need. A quiet private oasis near the airport.

Beautiful and charming with great new amenities. So peaceful & quiet at night. Walkable distance to airport (stress free morning of flight). Hosts very easy to communicate with.

Not many restaurants or grocery stores in the immediate vicinity, but it’s doable. They have a wonderful dog; if you have a fear of dogs, just let them know. Keep the key with you; the door locks behind you. You will feel safe.

Lovely studio on 15 min walking distance of the airport, it has a little garden, a living room & kitchenette with an Nespresso coffee machine, a separate bathroom (really clean!!) And a separate sleeping room. Temperature really good also thanks to the 2 airco's inside. Contact with the host was really good and he had a good recommendation for a nice restaurant with 5 mins.

Perfect stay to explore the newer part of Lisbon or spend the night before heading west to the airpo

The decor in this apartment is the epitome of shabby chic. You can tell they put a lot of time and good materials into renovating this place while putting their own touch. He also goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable.

I sleep with a minimum of 4 pillows so extra pillows would have been nice. I’m sure if I asked - he would have brought them but since I was just staying for the night, I didn’t bother.

It was close to the airport. The shuttle person they recommended showed up on time but it was 20 euros which was kind of high for a short drive.

The site was under construction and they didn't tell us until we got there. There were workers in the yard and it was torn up so we couldn't sit out there and have a drink or anything. The location was tough to find and there's no a sign. There's only one restaurant and it's a few blocks away. We were grateful it was open and the food was good.

Beautiful and quiet oasis near the airport to relax and enjoy the city before or after your flight!

Thank you Joâo and Lucia for doing everything you could to make our stay with you so perfect! You have created a lovely and very comfortable oasis for travelers with not only comfortable but beautiful bed, bath and kitchen/seating area. Next time we will add a day onto our trip just to rest and enjoy the beautiful space you have created. It is a short and inexpensive uber into the city from your quiet neighborhood and the nearby restaurant was easy to find, the service was superb and the food was delicious. We also appreciated the black out blinds, great heat and air-conditioning and television. The kitchen area was perfect to enjoy the food that we brought. It was ideal to have our own space with you nearby as well for help with anything we might need. We enjoyed meeting you and look forward to our next stay!

Perfect clean spot

Owner is on site and fantastic. Owner is a police officer and goes above and beyond to make everything safe and secure. Great neighborhood. It was perfect for one night close to the airport for our return flight. Airport is 3 min away by car.

Great place to stay near Lisbon Airport!

Snug Indepent Room is not only incredibly comfortable but beautifully decorated! it is so close to the airport but it is located in a beautifully quiet neighborhood. We have been traveling in Spain, Portugal, and Italy and their bed linens were the most beautiful we’ve seen and the bed was really comfortable! We had brought food for breakfast and the kitchen is filled with everything you would need to feel right at home and comfortable. The TV has a nice selection of channels too. The hosts recommended a neighborhood restaurant which was terrific and we were treated like special guests there. It’s a three minute Uber to the airport so it could not be more convenient. The hosts went out of their way to make sure that our arrival and departure were as smooth as comfortable as possible and we really appreciate it! We can’t wait to return!

quiet, clean, comfortable, good value

The location is only 1 km from the airport, but is super quiet so it is perfect for anyone spending the night inbetween flights. In fact it was so comfortable and quiet and clean that it would be nice for a longer stay as well. The owner was very kind and helpful.

Last night of a trip and I didn't want to pay 200 euro for an airport hotel! This room was just right, the owner very friendly and helpful, and the taxi we booked per his suggestion was 10 minutes early for an early flight. All good.
