Cottage/chalet on 25 acres of farmland with many species if birds, alpacas, sheep and cows available to feed, and river that runs through property.
Tennis court and small playground available on site.
Some appliances like stove wasn’t working 100%, and also toaster. White goods need upgrade.

The unit had everything we needed, including a lovely veranda with barbeque facilities, set in a gorgeous property.
The fireplace was a bonus.
The hosts were fantastic, helping us however they could. I also loved the hosts art gallery with his photographs and wood craft.

quiet, relaxing, close to the wedding we were attending.
no wifi even though it was listed.

We had a relaxing time , the place is very peaceful and secluded, and the management was helpful .
Beds were comfortable . There was plenty of bedding and kitchen was easy too.
We just didn't have our own wifi, and there was none at the property.
so that was the only thing, for me .

Freddie and Angie were very friendly and their hospitality went above and beyond. Perfect setting. Loved the lake and river. Our daughter extremely loved the alpacas.
That we only stayed 3 nights, could have easily stayed longer.

Although a little out of town, the surrounding views and the bird life on the property were amazing.

The views of the property are absolutely beautiful. It felt like our own little piece of paradise! Freddy and his wife were so welcoming, kind and helpful. The kids got to feed the alpacas - Mooney, Monty and Cracker Jack which was a highlight. Fishing in the lake, evening walks around the property and just a short drive into town. We stayed for 4 nights and loved waking up to the sounds of birds each morning. Even in the rain the property had so much to offer. The unit was spacious and we loved sitting around the wood fire of an evening. The beautiful oak trees on the property are giants and provide a stunning backdrop to the scenery.
The unit could do with a deep clean but was comfortable and tidy for our needs. Interior is dated but functional!

Stunning views, spacious, beautiful log fire, lovely hosts. We loved the island gazebo and little meditation shelter overlooking the lake. Wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Freddie & Angie.

Some of the finishings are getting a little tired - but then we actually really liked that it wasn't all new (for the sake of it).

Angie and Fred are the most accomodating hosts. This was our second time and we just cannot get enough of this place. It is tranquil and calm. The wildlife is also a bonus!!
Absolutely nothing!!

The amazing views, fantastic and very friendly hosts, away from traffic and noise. Good how chalets were separated. Great idea having wood heating. Grounds were well cared for and the gallery was very good to see.
Dirty utensils and crockery not cleaned properly by previous guests and the couch was full of surprises.

Quite location away from the usual suburban city environment.
Quite roomy chalets and provides sufficient distance from other guests.
Quite dated bathroom, can be better.

The location is very beautiful
10.0
The friendliness and hospitality of the hosts.
The general location and setting of the cottages.
Jamieson is quite remote and small, yet this place was even more quieter in a beautiful setting, which made it very easy to relax and unwind more completely.

We loved the peaceful picturesque setting of this property. It has a beautiful lake with stunning sunsets and early morning mists, lovely walks, Jamieson River nearby, alpacas, horses and sheep, and lots of native birds. Angie and Freddy are friendly and helpful and Freddy has his own gallery where he exhibits his excellent photography. I couldn't resist buying one! The cottages are warm, light, spacious and comfortable with a fire and patio overlooking the lake. We would love to come back!
All good.
