lovely relaxing break

Location was great, hosts were very welcoming, room was nice and quirky. overall stay stay good. Breakfast would have been nice but plenty of facilities in village for breakfast.

really nice room in a friendly pub made for a lovely stay in pretty Solva

lovely room with a comfy bed and a homely atmosphere in the pub downstairs. great location

there was a narrow staircase that was a bit tricky carrying the bags up

Superb

Very clean, lovely attic room with beautiful wooden beams. Very comfortable bed.

The window didn't open enough to allow air in, the room got a bit hot as we couldn't open a window.

Bad

The room was shabby with paint peeling off. The room smelled damp. The rain leaked through the roof. Urine half filled up the bath through the plug hole from other users toilets.

Great location but room was airless as no ventilation.

Location and friendly staff

Room was airless as windows painted shut, and hence could not be opened to cool down the room. A fan was provided but this just moved the stale air in the room. we resorted to wedging the room door open at night to alow for some airflow.

A perfect location in a beautiful village and area.

Location, history of place, privacy and friendliness.

Not being able to open windows, a breakfast option would have been great, plus some information on places to eat.

the location and the staff were amazing

couldn't open the windows and it was the hottest days if the year so we had to sleep with the main door open for some air - which wasn't ideal.

Adequate but would stay at St Davids if i

Room was adequate with tea/coffee facility.

Breakfast would have been welcome as would a meal sunday evening. Parking costs £5 per day at a public car park. No parking at the Ship Inn.

Very relaxing.

Great location, friendly staff and good evening meals.

It would be nice if there was a fridge in the room. Milk was provided in a flask every day but it was a very hot week and it would have been good to be able to keep milk and water cool.

Very comfortable

Very comfortable stay in the loft room at the top of the pub. Was quiet and comfortable, with a very good mattress. Shower ensuite, small but perfectly fine. Nice staff but saw very little of them.

friendly staff and people everywhere. wonderful location. perfect base for a walking holiday on the pembrokeshire coast.

Noise of boiler when using shower and loo, no signal for TV most of the time, couldn't open window.

Comfortable stay, value for money.

an old style pub with lots of character. Welcoming hosts, nice evening meals in the bar.

Some noise from plumbing. Would be good to have a breakfast option.

Comfortable welcoming stay!

A fridge with proper milk for making tea/coffee was nice but also very nice couple of tins of cocktail or beer were left complimentary, was a really nice and generous touch! Very friendly staff! 😊

Internet only works in the bar, and not in the room.

Very good

Old and quirky . 2 lovely wood fires. Really cozy. Evening meal was great. No breakfast but with 2 cafes within spitting distance it didn’t matter. Staff were very friendly. Took time to stop and chat.

Great value for the price

Much better room than I was expecting

My fault but didn't realize that we couldn't buy breakfast. There were a couple of places nearby which opened too late for us so we went without.

It was acceptable for the price paid.

There was no breakfast provided. Parking is at the end of the street in a public pay car park and I understood there was street parking outside the facility. One staff member was friendly but the other was not. I was told that I couldnt book a table for an evening meal as they didnt take bookings but 2 tables clearly hd reserved signs on them.
