In the heart if Quito but located in a quiet street

Good communication with the owner/manager, easy self-check in, very comfortable bed, located in a quiet street very close to restaurants and bars, tasty breakfast, very helpful with organizing transfer from the airport to the hotel, definitely recommend staying here

If you're going to Quito, this is where you want to stay!

We spent our last days in Quito at Dolce Lobo and it really was the best end to our trip! The rooms were clean and modern. We would agree with other reviews regarding the beds, they were super comfy! Great location, close to Plaza Foch but still very charmig surrondings. The best with our stay was the manager of the hotel, Maria :) She took really good care of us! Served us great food, the best food we had in Quito! Sooo good! And the breakfast was served at their sunny rooftop terrace with a great view. Dolce Lobo has a very warm and friendly vibe and we would highly recommend it to anyone going to Quito!

Fantastic hotel reccomend > Speak Spanish

Fantastic comfortable rooms, great omelette breakfast, easy check in and out… you only need a code to enter no card etc Highly recommend!

They only speak Spanish no English which was a bit challenging as my Spanish is mediocre.

Unreliable -- do not recommend

Didnt respond to communication and were not there to unlock the door when we arrived at 7pm, so we had to go find another hotel.

Location was close to restaurants.

Didn't like the door code system, with no staff on premises, having 3 sets of codes to get into our room. No staff available pm or evening for requests for toilet roll or a bath towel (only one provided for a couple). The room was wet on arrival as a window was left wide open. The pillows smelt fusty and damp. The sofa felt damp. The bathroom window didn't shut properly. The building, in general, smelt unpleasant. The morning staff person did not speak English. The owner offered to extend our stay but we decided to leave. Sweet Wolf .. more like Smelly Wolf.

Incredible stay, very memorable and exceptional service provided.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was incredibly comfortable and modern, and the shower was fantastic. The customer service provided was exceptional and they were very quick to respond to our enquiries as well as linking us up with a local guide. Once they knew it was my birthday, we were surprised with a cake and beers which really made it extra special. They also offer the option of breakfast in the room which was a nice touch. Couldn’t recommend staying here more, we loved it!

The decoration on the bedroom walls could be more authentic to Ecuador or some art maybe would be nice to make it cosier.

Very good

Room was very big and spacious and the bed comfy. Also it was very quiet. The area was close to a lot of restaurants and generally felt safer than old town Quito (although I would still be cautious and take Uber after dark). Check in was straight forward and Nydia was very helpful and reactive at getting a small issue with my room resolved upon arrival. Wifi also worked well.

The room got very humid after showering Having a hairdryer in the room wold have been nice I would have preferred to have taken breakfast outside in the room in a dining area. I found it a little intrusive that they would knock to bring breakfast as I was getting ready but I can understand that others might like breakfast in bed.

connection with smokes works better than wifi here,,, problem with hot water,,, breakfast too cheap,,,it says it has view but our suite with the view of cement wall. just doesn’t worth it the price.

Quiet time in Quito

Nice big comfortable room. Plenty of restaurants, bars and nightlife nearby, not that l ventured into any of the disco bars.

Minor dislikes: Access with codes after hours is a bit tricky. Only window in the room is a large curtained, glass brick area that lets in lght, but not fresh air. No air conditioner.

Ee had two very nice nights in Dolce Lobo. Mariscal is, in our opinion the best district to stay in if you have a short

beautiful place right in la Mariscal. Very nice and spacious room with a very comfortable bed.

No warm shower or water in general. Toilet was leaking a little bit. Breakfast was very simple and there was no option for choosing a breakfast time so the stuff knocks starting 8.30.

Private but close to everything. Situated on a quiet street. Orlando took great care of us. Breakfast was adequate. Large bath and shower.

Nydia is amazing

Check in was easy. Nydia sent detailed self check in information including codes to enter gate, door to building and door to room. If you follow the direction, you should have not problem to get to your hotel room. Nydia arranged Covid test (needed to enter USA) and the nurse arrived punctually. I’m very appreciative of Nydia prompt communication on WhatsApp and all the supports she rendered. Thanks a bunch Nydia.

This is my 1st self check in to hotel. I am still trying to get use to it. Not an issue. I just need to get used to check in to a hotel without a person at a hotel.

Quito in April

The room was very large and had a nice picture window. The breakfast was very nice. We could walk to places to eat dinner.

There wasn’t a lot of staff to help with recommendations. This might have been due to the pandemic and the curfew.

Perfect hotel for our stay

Everything was perfect. the location was great, the hotel arranged all our tours and airport pick up and drop off. breakfast in bed every day was wonderful specially when we requested to be served even half an hour earlier than normal (7am), they were very nice and accommodating and made our trip to Quito unforgettable.
