The staff was fabulous. The desk clerk, George, carried our luggage up the stairs for us.
Our waitress, Selina, was so very helpful and very knowledgeable, PLUS very friendly.
The art gallery was fascinating.
Can't wait to visit again soon.
I can't imagine anything I would change.

It is a labor of love! Delightful restoration of a historic hotel. Just wonderful what they did & continue to do. The gardens & the self guided tour is amazing.
Winslow itself can be a little daunting. It’s a town that got bypassed after Route 66 went away. But it should not stop anyone from booking at La Posada.

Cool old hotel restored to its former glory. Close to downtown

The hotel is stunning. The gardens are serene and lush. Tina Mion and her husband have done a remarkable job with the restoration and her art and numerous period artifacts are presented in a tasteful manner.
It’s exquisite; nothing was overlooked and the staff were helpful and friendly.

it was like a museum, so much cool memorabilia, so many alcoves to explore. rooms were unique. They have an attention to detail and customer service which is not found in today’s modern hotel.
the area around it was run down a bit but the city itself is like that

We choose to stay at La Posada and eat at the Turquoise Room whenever we are travlling in north-east Arizona. We appreciate what the owners have committed to in restoring and maintaining this Fred Harvey/Mary Colter piece of Arizona and railroad history. Our visits are always enjoyable and we have never been disappointed.

The rooms were nice for the age of the hotel. Food was good too!
I liked everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A really quirky hotel, with fascinating decorations and a wealth of history behind it. The staff were very welcoming and we even had our room upgraded on arrival. We really liked the games room and enjoyed playing chess during the evening with a glass of wine.
We ate at the restaurant both in the evening and for breakfast and whilst the food was tasty, we personally felt it was a little overpriced.

Everything was perfect. The art is exceptional. I intend to order a few prints when I get home. The hotel exceeded with the touches of great hospitality. Our room was clean, pretty and very convenient. Every staff person was knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming. Both the bar service in the evening and the breakfast service were exceptional.
The only thing I can think of is an elevator. However, the reception staff people took care of us.

This hotel is really eclectic and is a very cool place to stay. if you’re looking for modern high design, this is not for you. But if you’re looking for unique, fun and supported by a restaurant with great food, stay here!
The window in the room was pretty small.

1930’s hotel with just so much charm. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The staff couldn’t be nicer. This hotel is pet friendly but that’s just the start. These people love dogs. I have a Great Dane and they didn’t blink. The staff just loved up on him like he was family. They must have a reputation for loving dogs since there were a lot of dogs staying there. With or without a pet, I would love to stay here again.
Minor thing. The jacuzzi tub was small for a 6 ft man. They are limited to the space they have because it’s a 1930’s hotel so I understand. Just a heads up. Don’t get me wrong, I soaked in it for an hour. I just couldn’t stretch out.

Historic and quaint. Beautiful setting even in the wintertime. Lovely grounds and landscaping. Room, while small, was well appointed and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Had to access the room ONLY through the front door. It was a LONG walk for my traveling companion who has bad knees. Could not use door at end of hallway, right next to our room, to get outside.

hotel was very unique and historic. it was quirky and filled with unusual art.
rooms emphasized design over comfort
generally not kid friendly.
staff seemed to go out of their way to be unfriendly and unhelpful.

Have stayed here several times and still love it...if I ignore certain things. Amazing restoration of a Colter Harvey House and contribution to historic preservation. Always enjoy the orange crepes and coffee at breakfast. I even enjoy the train sounds.
Dinner here is quite a splurge considering it's Winslow. It was the most I've paid for a glass of beer anywhere in the US. Would have preferred simpler fare without leaving the property. I find the gigantic New Year's Party suicides painting offensive. Instead of "compassion" I see mockery.

Well decorated for the holidays
This place advertised as pet friendly. I was traveling with my dogs. I checked in and dogs were all over the lobby and hotel so I figured I found the right place.... Wrong. At no point did anyone ask if I had pets. After getting settled in my room I went to the hotel restaurant. While eating I saw I had a missed call from the hotel. I went to my room to check and see if anything was wrong. My babies were asleep. I walked out and the manager was waiting for me. He asked if I had pets. I said yes, but he said I had to register them at the desk. I was confused because I was never asked by staff. I asked him if I could take care of it after dinner
He insisted that I could eat dinner in the lobby with my dogs or put the dogs in the car while I ate. Apparently the policy is no dogs in the rooms unattended. It pretty much went down hill from there. Dinner was ruined and my GF was obviously displeased with me loading up the dogs and putting them out in 20 degree weather. For a place that bills itself as a dog person's hotel it really didn't turn out great. This is the first time I have ever had an issue as I regularly travel with my pets. We were definitely disappointed to spend 200 dollars at dinner to get a cold meal. Big let down
