The apartment had everything required and some more. It was light, bright and very clean. It had been redecorated beautifully, and, recently by the looks
The bed was comfortable, all towels and linen lovely. Kitchen equipment was plentiful and all we needed. A good size fridge.
Great location, right near the centre of the old town. Good quality windows with double glazing so you can escape any nightlife noises.

The property was in the perfect location in the old town centre of Sarlat. The apartment was also very modern and had all the amenities you could need, nestled in the heart of what feels like medieval France. Sarlat is a great base from which to explore the rest of the Dordogne region and it’s many chateau.

Lovely roomy and well-equipped apartment, well-located in the pedestrian area of the old town. A bonus that the building has a lift - lugging suitcases up and down narrow stairwells can become tiring after a few weeks of travel!
Met by Carole promptly on arrival.
Some noise from outside streets - so had to keep windows closed at night.
A lighter-weight doona/ bed covering would be a great addition, as it was quite warm during our stay. ( We have had the same issue in most places we've stayed at in Europe in the past few weeks)

The character and the location.
Could have made appliance manuals more visible.

This apartment is right at the top of the many apartments which my wife & I have rented over the years. We have found the best apartments are those where you are welcomed by the owner(s), ie who live reasonably nearby - and who do not use the apt as their usual residence. (Both of these criteria can only unfortunately be assessed at the time you arrive - they are certainly not issues covered in the advertising comments.) The apartment was spotless and is in a great part of the old town about 80 metres from (paid) public parking "Rigaudie" with easy walking to all parts of the historic area. It is a well renovated apartment with all mod-cons, the shower is large. Heating is adequate in the colder months with a bonus of a towel heater in the bathroom. (I cannot comment on hot weather - there was a large fan in the main living room so I don't think there is aircon.) We were introduced to the apartment by Carole who fortunately for us, speaks good English, and showed us how things worked. She had previously indicated that the first hour was free at the above carpark giving ample time to move your luggage into the apt before moving the car to a completely free park less than 500mt away. (I was somewhat apprehensive of using this park but there was no problems in our 7 day stay.) The TV had access to Netflix if some light entertainment is needed in the evening. There is no lack of restaurants nearby and only a couple of hundred metres to a local boulangerie for morning croissants!
OK, I'm dragging the bottom of the barrel here!! Only one towel per person for a week but this was no real issue due to the towel heater and washing machine (and also the spare towel we always carry). With advancing age our memories are declining and some written notes (French/English) on the use of equipment - eg washing machine/dishwasher would have been helpful. But these are petty comments for what proved to be a wonderful few days and we are certainly glad we had a car to explore other places outside of Sarlat.

We were delighted with our stay at this property. Perfect location. Very comfy bed. Great shower. There is even an elevator to help to get your suitcases up to the floor. Free parking is close by. The fresh food markets run in the street just outside the apartment every Saturday & Wednesday. It is only a short drive to many beautiful attractions.

Michel and Carole were excellent, helpful hosts who had thought of everything that we may need. They made our trip to Sarlat more special. Thank you Michel and Carole! The apartment itself is faultless and lacks for nothing.
We had to keep the blinds partly closed for privacy during day time and it can get noisy at night due to the central location of the apartment which meant we couldn't leave the windows open. These are minor problems for everything else the apartment offers.

located within the medieval town, very modern updates, spacious, well equipped, free parking, every effort taken to mitigate noise - windows with shutters and heavy drapes
overtop of a bar on the street directly across from bedroom windows that no amount of window treatments could block the noise and music from the bar that occurred on 3 of our 6 nights. Just be aware.

Perfect location, car park not too far away, host helpful and responsive, apartment's central location could mean some noise coming from the streets but noise levels very OK if windows are closed.

Excellent communication, the hosts were very accessible, kind and friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us!
The apartment is beautifully decorated, fully equipped with everything you might need for your stay and at a prime location.
We were very pleased with our choice and would definitely consider staying there again :)
If you are a light sleeper would advise ear plugs, there is a bit of noise from what I believe are cleaning vehicles which pass very early morning

The efficiency of checking in appreciated after long drive. The location is top compact and very comfortable. Quality bedding and comfortable bed. Sarlat is tourist town so you must accept noise is on the agenda , the host has done upmost to help limit the noise, glazed windows, shutters, and curtains and we slept like babies . The host had left some small supplies of essentials this was most helpful.
It’s perfect!

There was a carnival in town when we arrived, and the apartment was very noisy, in addition to the number of tourists in town at the time. The location is fantastic if you don't mind the noise from the street. Fortunately, the town closes down around 11 pm at night.

Excellent location and amenities!

This was our second stay at this apartment and the high standards have been maintained. It is in a perfect location for old Sarlat and its many restaurants. Free parking is within a few minutes walk at Chemin du Plantier.
It is worth noting that the apartment becomes very hot during the day in summer and, while a previous update by the former proprietor mentions 'air conditioning' having been introduced at the apartment, it is actually two good quality fans.
