Perfect

Everything about it! From the state of the rooms (stayed in 3 and 5), and the breakfast, to the more-than-helpful owners who couldn't do enough for us! My partner and I will definitely stay there again, and I recommend others to follow suit! Thank you to Paul and Elna

I genuinely struggle to find anything that wouldn't live up to what a traveller could want in such an establishment.

Excellent experience all-round!

Staff was friendly. Location was fantastic. We stayed in Room 8 which had a spectacular view and a window that popped out into a mini balcony. Food was delicious. Wifi worked great and I was actually able to do video calls and work without issue. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend staying here!

Breakfast was ok , parking was a little difficult to access but a necessity in Alnmouth .

Superb

Liked accommodation being across road from river with its Birdlife and anchored boats. Had a balcony from which to enjoy view. Beach good for walking on. Very pleasant helpful and informed staff. Breakfast delicious and plenty of it!

lovely b&b by the river aln

we had the ground floor room with front porch, good parking, amazing full english breakfast good choice of continental and coffee machine. staff were lovely and really helpful - we really enjoyed our stay:)

Lovely place to stay

Just got back from a 2 night stay. Janice, Paul and both the other ladies I didn't catch thier names were lovely and friendly. Very helpful and also nothing was a bother to them! Clean hotel and room. Cosy feel to the hotel.. home away from home. Comfy bed. Lush view from room window of the river and countryside especially from the mini balcony when we opened our window wide open (Room 7 attic room). Only a short walk to eaither the main street or the beach. Breakfast was lovely and tastey. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Thank you again for our stay.

although the house itself was really nice we wouldn’t stay again because of these problems

nice location. room okay but a bit small. clean bathroom nice visitors lounge. But parking was a nightmare, having to use street parking which was a nuisance as I’m disabled. I sent an email beforehand saying I need space, but the breakfast chef seemed to get priority parking. breakfast staff was so loud she was louder than all the guests together. An uncomfortable breakfast experience for us.

l enjoyed my time there and would stay again if l am in the area

lt was away from the main road in a quiet location overlooking the estuary. The bedroom was very nice and everything spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good and the hot food cooked to order. The is also an upstairs lounge for the use of the guests that is very spacious and inviting. The staff were very friendly and helpful which is nice for a single traveler

The property is absolutely superb with no faults. Great location, fantastic rooms and super breakfasts.

The car park was quite small, but this wasn't an issue with careful manoeuvring.

Enjoyable Two Night Stay

Off street parking a bonus. Good location for access to beach and river side walks. Very nice guest lounge and veranda.

Shortage of bathroom space - limited shelving; a hook behind the door would have been helpful. Heating system required Paul's attention.
