This is not your typical hotel property. Our room was sequestered away from the hustle of the city, but everything that you could want was just outside of the perimeter. The old world feel added to the charm. The volcanic rock that it was made from along with the thatched rooftops suggested that you had somehow gone back in time. There was lots of outside space that kept you from ever feeling like you were part of a large crowd. The service was top notch as well. Most of the staff remembered our names. Rooms were serviced several times a day. The pool staff set up all of your chairs and brought snacks and water all day. (There were no extra charges or tips for these services)

Great breakfast served with view over the beach. Facilities and service around the pool area were excellent.
The only disappointment was dinner at the restaurant - nicely presented but a tired old piece of tuna, and very limited wine by the glass options. Not really good enough for a restaurant in this price range.
Also a little disappointing to note that the sulphurous smell from the adjacent creek is still a problem, especially when the NW onshore wind blows.

If you want to experience the essence of Bali, before it was a major tourist hotspot, The Oberoi is the place to go. The grounds are expansive, well-manicured and tranquil, you can't hear any of the hustle and bustle from the street, yet you are amongst one of the best areas to stay for shopping, eating and entertainment. The staff are wonderful and truly understand the meaning of hospitality. They are attentive and accommodating, anticipate your needs and contribute to a luxury stay. The resort offers all the extras you would expect from a 5-star rating. Although the resort is older compared to others in the area, it has been maintained to the highest level. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the resort offers a relaxing and uncluttered experience. There is so much space you tend to wonder where everyone else is. I have visited Bali over 10 times and stayed all over the island in many different hotels and resorts. The Oberoi is now my favourite and I would recommend this to those looking to find relaxation, tranquillity, and luxury. 10/10
The only thing that could have been better for us would have been cancelling our other hotel bookings and staying longer at The Oberoi.

The staff were amazing, especially around the pool area, all throughout the day iced water and snacks. I had to do some work and the staff set up my laptop with a mouse pad and charged it! That was very nice of them.

Sehr schön am Meer und dank großer und weitläufiger Anlage vom Trubel der Strasse entfernt.

The greenery in the property. The room size was good, and the view of room was ocean it was nice also.
The lack of entertainment and restaurant option !
There was only one restaurant for breakfast and lunch and one for dinner. At evening very dark atmosphere u even don't see what you are eating ! Also its after sunset quite dead place ! This place good for people wants to sleep and rest most of the time ! For the money I paid wasn't happy with their facility at all.

The Oberoi Bali is really high class resort. Intimate yet superb service, staff extremely professional and all customer requirements, wishes, needs will be responded immediately. Hence, we have returned to this resort already 3 times! I highly recommend.

Almost everything, ive never stayed in a hotel that gives attention to every little details that made our stay so memorable. The hotel even surprised me with a birthday arrangement though we didn’t highlight anything about this.
The staff were all amazing and really passionate to attend to all guests, loved all about it 🤍

Very central location in Seminyak. The best beachfront hotel I have stayed at so far. The rustic thatched roof villas added a charm to this place which was only exceeded by the courteous, accommodating and generally just such a lovely nature and mannerism of the whole team. The breakfast is a table service and has incredible variety. One could sit there for hours, admiring the waves and indulging in michelin star quality food. The pool and beach staff, especially the lifeguard were very nice and made sure to keep a watchful eye on the kids when they were having their surfing lessons. The afternoon tea with entertainment every day was a lovey touch and the kechak dance show at the end of our stay was absolutely amazing. The hotel is on the doorstep of the bustling streets of Seminyak but an oasis of calm once you cross over the hotel threshold. The beach although a public beach is clean and stretches for miles.

An amazing place to stay and have stayed at many in Bali. Situation on the beach, service, food and ambience. Very peaceful and special. Left feeling relaxed and thought it was well worth it.

Loved everything about this property!!! The staff was amazing, definitely 5 star service!! Accommodations were superb, the grounds were well kept, the food and drinks were excellent. The location was perfect, beautiful sunsets from the property on the beach, conveniently located to the flea market and city center of Seminyak, easy walking to any restaurant in Seminyak, but if you don’t want to walk, the resort has shuttle drop off and pick up locations around the city. Enjoyed everything about this property and location!!!
Everything was perfect!!!

The location is idyllic in lovely gardens on the beach. It was a very Balinese experience. The staff are polite and friendly the manager John was engaged with the customers and ensures everything was up to standard. The food was excellent so all in all it was delightful.

Absolutely beautiful property. Staff go out of their way to look after you and will always remember small attention to details. Pool and surrounds beautiful. Breakfast a real treat each morning. Great work by the garden crew.
Resort does not feature true twin rooms which can be uncomfortable if sharing with a friend or family member. Twin room in a hotel is a staple so this could easily be improved.
