It all starts with the welcome you get at reception, this sets the tone of your stay.

All very comfortable, good car park, nice rooms but above all very nice staff.

A little isolated but ok if you have a car.

Very enjoyable.

We have been before around this time of year and this year's break was as good as the previous one. The room was comfortable and the breakfast good. We particularly like the swimming pool which we used each day before dinner.

Good hotel

Nice Holiday Inn hotel. Breakfast was good and the room was excellent. Stayed there for a wedding in the area.

Outside of the hotel is a bit old, could use a bit of work.

Not very cumftable, had to wait for many things at breakfast, I know it was busy but no farward plan

The staff are friendly and helpfull. the parking is good. That is about it.

I don't know how you rate this hotel. At best it is a three star not four star. It also is a bit tired and needs updating. you can't move in the bathroom. No space.

Friendly staff, clean room and amazing spa centre!

-Very clean room and friendly staff . -Leisure spa was amazing! Swimming pool,sauna and steam room included in the price. -Flora,the restaurant captain, was very helpful, friendly and kind. -Hayley, the spa therapist, was awesome! Me and a couple of friends had a massage treatment and body scrub and although she had a busy day she made us feel so relaxed. Thank you!

-There was no mini fridge in the room,although it was mentioned in the amenities. -There weren't any mini shampoo or body wash but only one dispenser on the wall. -The room was a connecting one so we had a door within our room which wasn't that nice.

The bed was uncomfortable - sagged in the middle and soft. The cooked breakfast was only just warm so not enjoyable.

Sunday stay, so good value for money.

Nice spacious bar and restaurant. Room modern and immaculately clean.

The building looked dated, probably built in the 70's, however inside it is modern and very well decorated. Don't let thje outside appearance put you off. Bathroom was a liittle on the small side, but immaculately clean (only a VERY minor gripe).

Lovely modern hotel with excelent food and facilities.

Our room was upgraded to a larger premium room with a free fridge and contents. The food was very varied and good at breakfast and the staff were very attentive. The rooms were quiet and away from traffic.

The steam room was only tepid on the 2 days we visited it. The ladies' reception toilets were often left in a dirty state by customers. Hotel rooms and corridors were much too hot. The air con was very noisy in the room.

Poor. I booked the premium room and it wasn’t even a basic standard. Dated and dirty. The building looks like it’s a block of council flats that your staying in

Really good

I requested a quiet room because i'm sensitive to other occupant's noise late at night. I was kindly allocated a room that i believe didn't have occupants on either side. This was like heaven for a hotel! The hotel was quiet and i know it wouldn't normally be like that, but it shows that someone listened to my request and saw the opportunity to put me not just in a quieter wing, but also somewhere that was not in a cluster of other guest's rooms. I will stay here again just because of this consideration from the staff that allocated my room.

Nothing really, except that the air conditioning wouldn't work. This was ok as it was cool enough to not 100% need it this time, but on a hotter night i would have had to get someone to fix it or change my room.

Great value for money, comfortable room, polite staff, delicious food.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and Starbucks coffee at bar was a treat too. The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed. The products in the bathroom smelt nice and felt good quality. Good wi-fi, no problems with it during stay.

The room was at the far end of the hotel and walking to and from reception was tedious. I had some problems with my keycard that caused some stress but staff were very keen to help.

Very comfortable and enjoyable except for the tiny bathroom.

Breakfast was very good indeed with wide selection and well prepared and presented and comfortable dining area. We also enjoyed the Health suite facilities.

As with our previous Holiday Inn the night before the bathroom was the smallest imaginable and there was barely enough space to open the door and get in and out.

Leisure facilities good. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Hot water in dispensers just not hot enough to make tea. The heat lamps to keep the food hot on the breakfast buffet not effective. Food was warm rather than hot.

The proximity to the City.

A dog in the restaurant . Barking whilst we had a meal. The water pressure in the shower was not ideal. Shabby at the base of the shower. Pressure needs adjusting . Some guests attending breakfast unwashed with non appropriate clothing

Our stay was out of this world

I’m so happy with this hotel, came here for a much needed Break with my mum and it was was amazing it ticked all the boxes and more I don’t have one negative thing to say all the staff went above and beyond to make are stay magical thank you so much.

I enjoyed my stay but the catering during the evening was poor.

The location was excellent. Breakfast was of good quality

The room was cramped for a five day stay. furniture dressing table was bulky taking up a lot of room. no draws or cupboards. choice of main meals where pretty dire. on some nights there was no choice at all. seemed that the kitchen was running on a shoe string. staff were very embarrassed and apologetic. its not as if the restaurant was full or busy. MANAGERS PLEASE LOOK AT THIS ISSUE, because its a big problem, that needs sorting. I have stayed in hotels all of my working across the UK and continent ( 40 years) never seen this before in a restaurant. again to reiterate, Staff were excellent, Chef is a good chef. but they don't seem to order enough meats for the main courses, several times all 3 main courses were unavailable.
