Good location, room was perfect size for a family with a baby. Breakfast was good too
Highly recommended

The view from the room was beautiful and the location was good.
The owner was not very friendly at check-in, extremely bureaucratic (he said he would only tell us where he should park after passing on all the information - the room was already paid for - meanwhile my husband was waiting in the car on a very steep street where only 1 car passes at a time)
Tricky path to carry suitcase between parking and hotel.
Extremely hot room, no air conditioning and no curtain!! So we were woken up at 5 am by the sun!
Good location but uphill.

Excellent Location !
Family room set up is a blessing when traveling with 4-6 people.
Parking - Was a bit challenging initially to drive through constrained and busy streets to reach up.
Breakfast - We were a bit disappointed by the Breakfast. Limited options, for Milk, Bread slices, Pastries Etc. For ex : we asked for more white bread slices and the response was - We get it tomorrow.

the room was beautiful and in a great location! Very close to the river and castle! great views from our room!
we told them we were leaving a little (7 AM) before breakfast! they were serving other guests and it would have been nice if they could have provided for us as we had booked the hotel because of free breakfast!

Private, secure, family-owned and operated. Breakfast was very good, with 2 seatings by reservation. Excellent service by property owners. Appreciated required wearing of masks in public spaces in hotel. Views from hotel and proximity to venues of interest were first class.
Parking site is a bit of a hike to reach on foot, and designated space was used by others, non-guests, but parking was adequate.

Such a warm welcome and friendly host. Safe place to park motorcycles and a cellar to hang wet bike gear in.
Really glad the communication prior to arrival included advice to ride up past the hotel to turn around and approach from the top as the access road and hotel driveway are steep.

Charming Cochem property and staff. The breakfast was awesome...eggs made to order with a great spread. The location is great during peak travel season since it's quieter than the riverside hotels, etc., which can get noisy. There is parking available, within a short distance from the Villa. We used a TomTom GPS, and it found a way through the narrow one-lane streets, and parking was nearby after dropping luggage. The owners are nice, helpful, and accommodating. We had a pleasant stay, and we enjoyed a local Mosel wine from the kitchen when we returned to our room. Don't let the narrow streets scare you...you'll get there...just take it slow and watch the pedestrians.
The rooms could use a fan during the summer, especially the upper rooms with only one side of windows, thus no cross-ventilation, such as the Moseltal (spelling?) room. Moseltal is nearly unbearable sleeping without a fan during summer. Even the lower rooms could use one when it's warm outside.

Breakfast was great and value for money. Great views. Great to be able to sit on a shared balcony to admire the views
No Air-conditioning or a fan at least to alleviate to very hot conditions

the location is great with a nice aerial view.
a bit hard to reach (cross busy small and steep streets) with the car but no a big issue for us.
we could t close the window shutters all the way because there were plastic plant bucket in the way.
it was really too hot in the room to get a normal sleep. there was no fan or ac…

nice view of castle
difficult to locate & parking is very scarce

The room had an amazing view of the city and the castle. It also had metal blinds to block out the sun during the day and our room had an amazing balcony to sit on during cooler times. I couldn't get over the view - it was beautiful!
The only feedback I have is that the wifi wouldn't stay connected though I don't know if this was on the hotel since our cell service throughout the whole city was spotty???

Hotel very clean and owner so friendly, the terrace is lovely to sit out on.
Difficult to find by car, but if you manage to get up the hill on foot, the owner will give you a map

The breakfast was excellent. Social distancing politely enforced. Great selection.

Quick walk downhill into the town centre and very close to the castle. Good COVID preventative measures, place was clean and breakfast was nice
Parking here is difficult, the hotel is hard to drive to. You have to go through a restricted pedestrian town, lots of people, steep narrow streets. Parking is actually not at the property but close by. When we arrived the parking lot was full. Slow checkout as breakfast was operating in sittings and was not possible to checkout while a sitting in progress as the staff were busy
