Ok accommodation, in great location

Great location, restaurant down stairs amazing

No staff on site other than book in window, limited supplies provided for longer stays, not very clean, furnishings and rooms need updating, ironing board broken and cover all ripped

Disappointed

It nice for locality to the shops & beach

TV too small & low to the ground. Lounge wool & itchy. To be honest we left a day earlier as my home is much nicer.

We will definitely be back!

The location is so great! Right in the centre of town. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Kingscliff is such a beautiful town, with the board walks and seating right by the seaside! We had such beautiful weather, saw whales every time we looked out at the ocean. I would highly recommend booking a June holiday here.

I think the room just needed a deep clean. But apart from that, it was perfect!

I liked being in Kingscliff township

The mould,the mess (under beds,under tables and under cushions The noise every morning from 6:30 where the room was being completely renovated next door to me and the strong smell of paint. I was not advised that this would be happening before I booked and paid for room 108 Very very disappointing The air-conditioning systems were mouldy and dusty and broken in parts and all my children are asthmatic I would like to be completely reimbursed for my stay at paradiso, it was horrible

Great location, great sized apartment, awesome family spot. Apartment was awesome but could do with some TLC but nothing

Not Perfect, But Oh So Close.

The room was beautiful and very spacious. Location was excellent.

Light in ensuite was not working. No ocean view from rooftop balcony as shown in promotional photos.

Fantastic resort. Good value

We stay at Paradiso Resort every time we travel to Kingscliff. It is great value with decent self contained apartments, comfy beds and is close to everything you want in a beach spot. Fantastic for families as it is across the road from the beach with food and ice cream on the doorstep. It is definitely an older building and it is beginning to show its age throughout. If you want fancy, modern and new this isn’t your place to stay. If you’re looking for a place to relax with your family and don’t mind to age then this is a fabulous option to stay. We look forward to staying again.

Once or twice we have arrived to not entirely clean apartments. Not usually enough to be concerned about though and is an easy fix.

Perfect location but needs lots of cleaning and maintenance

Whilst the location was amazing, the overall cleanliness of the apartment was terrible! There was a pillow with blood stains in the cupboard, floors were filthy, mould in the bathrooms and more. Layout worked well and all appliances were fine.

It was disgusting. The floor was broken and uneven, the robes were full of dust, dirty dishes in the cupboards.

Location..... is only reason we stayed here again however never again.

2 stars is only for the location. This was our 4th time here, our 1st time was great lovely clean room, then each visit the cleanliness has deteriorated, our 3rd visit we spent a fair bit on cleaning products and had to spend a heap of time cleaning, the guy next to us had to leave his room due to cockroach infestation. Just stayed again only for the great location and a special celebration with family but took cleaning products but it's our last stay there never again, to top it all when we checked into our room we were left a big poo in our ensuite loo and the other one not flushed, filthy floor cupboards and the filth behind the bedside tables, cockroach mess in draws so I didn't bother unpacking, awful we asked them come and clean but didn't do much. Pillows and bedding old and yucky, we had a sea view 3 bed suite thought would be better, Shame as its a great place great location. Get new cleaners!!! And update!!

great location, but dated and not maintained rooms, we would not return and would not recommend it.

The location was good, we were able to walk to attractions such as the beach, supermarket and food outlets.

The room was not what we expected, for example, dirt and breadcrumbs on and under the toaster. ripped and torn furniture, many dirty stains on the longue / sofa. Water drip under the laundry sink and onto the floor, we reported this to reception, and we were provided with additional towels to dry up the water leak. one service elevator, the rooms need to be cleaned properly.

Have booked a unit via Airbnb before with no issues but would never book this unit again

I liked the location and the space of the property

Beds were very very uncomfortable. Especially for my 84 year old mother with chronic back issues. We ended up having to take her home after a couple of nights of no sleep. The purpose of our visit there as both my sister and I live interstate was to pick her up from her home and enjoy her company in nice accommodation. Not being able to use the tv to just watch live tv was annoying. The toilets looked like they needed a good scrub. Bench hadn’t been cleaned and was full of crumbs and salt. The dishwasher poured out suds all over the kitchen floor because someone had put dish washing detergent in it. Lots of dust, especially under one of the beds that had a tiled floor. The shower in the ensuite was blocked full of hair which wouldn’t let the water flow down the drain so it filled up like a bath.

Wonderful Experience

We were moved from Paradiso to another accomadation and the whole experience was amazing. We were told in advance that we were being relocated, and the process went smoothly. The new facilities (sunrise cove) were so good, we booked again. Thank you.

The Internet was very weak and sometimes non-existent,however, that was not a big issue for us.

Great location and facilities, but needs to be clean!

Location and beach were great. Very spacious apartment. The facilities: pool, spa, gym were all great.

The apartment was not clean, benches and floors were not clean. Bathrooms were disgusting- not clean at all! Toilet had poo in it!!

Location was great

We rented a three bedroom apartment, on arrivals we discovered one of the three bedrooms was sliding doors which you could see through there was no privacy, you couldn't even get dressed in for lack of privacy definitely not a three bedroom the apartment was very tired as was the rest of the resort. Would not stay again

I loved my stay!

I had a 3 bedroom apartment, when I was expecting 2 bedrooms. The balcony was huge. As was the TV. And the aircon was lovely, especially in the bedroom

The kitchen could have been cleaner and I didn’t work out how to use the dishwasher. Also the outdoor spa wasn’t operational and I found the pool to be a bit too closed in. And there was no chance I was going to use the pokey tiny gym, with the steam room that wasn’t working. This was disappointing

we paid top money for a roof top spa unit, the spa was unusable due to the filthy water and stench coming out of it. the place was very dirty in all.

Shabby, no atmosphere

It had a private rooftop deck

We couldn't use the rooftop deck. There was no shade at all. Views were of other roof tops. The apartment has no windows at all, other than the ones next to the front door, looking out over the internal verandahs.. so people walking past could see straight in...felt like we were in a box. The entrance area is very shabby. The cleaner needs to be introduced to Domestos or mould cleaner, the bathrooms weren't clean.

It was an enjoyable stay and a great location. Very relaxing.

Blocked shower with a thick layer of someone's hair that we had to clear before using the shower. TV was very small and when we asked if we could use the large TV, we were told that only management can approve that request? Why?

good position close to beach

the room we were given was definitely not what I would rate as a "Deluxe" apartment. it was not what I booked as the third bedroom was supposed to have a queen bed and it had single beds, it was supposed to be all air conditioned and their was only 1 air con in the lounge room, and the fan didn't work in the third bedroom, and you could see that under the couches in the lounge room had not been vacuumed in a long time. and very unusual, the TV was under the kitchen bench ?? it had two small double couches so I don't know how six people would sit and watch TV. when I complained to staff they weren't very interested, and I had to push and asked for a room change. they agreed begrudgingly and then I had to wait 2 1/2 hrs for that room to be ready ?? when we got to the room, the floors had "puddles" of water in the kitchen where the cleaning staff were too lazy to mop properly and there were dirty towels in the vanity cupboard that they evidently didn't look in. the toilet seat was broken in the second bathroom and the fridge was hot and took over 24hrs to cool down. the pool was dirty and on one afternoon full of young people jumping off the water feature that has a sign no jumping on it - so guests with young children couldn't get in the pool - no staff around so this went on for over an hour.
