Breakfast was advertised but not included. Scam.
Unfriendly people who don't care about their guests.

I loved my stay here and wish I could've stayed longer. It's in a very quiet and convenient location being just a few minutes' walk from the beach and a plethora of cafes and shops. It takes two minutes to reach Ashiyana Yoga Centre if you are interested in attending classes there. The hut was very clean and well -equipped with tea-making facilities, shelves, mosquito net and a rail for clothes. The garden was immaculate and well -maintained. There was free access to drinking water at Reception. Erika and Salvador were exceptional hosts. They were very kind and helpful and had lots of practical advice helping out with, for example, taxis, mobile phone top-ups, restaurant recommendations, trip advice and physio/medical contacts (for an injury sustained before my arrival at the guest house). I'd highly recommend staying here. Thank you for an excellent stay!
That I had to check out and couldn't stay on for a couple more months! It would have been convenient to have simple breakfast-making facilities like access to a toaster in the Reception area to make toast in the mornings.

Convenient location, supportive host and property looks cool
No availability of RO water
Size of hut is bit small, there is no cupboard and beds are small and are not standard 6*6, instead 6*5
On first day, there were lot of insects that they eventually cleaned on 2nd day after pest spray. It could have been done before our arrival.

Quaint property and cottage, good privacy, comfortable for 2, had refrigerator and electric kettle in room making the stay more comfortable. It was value for money given the peak holiday timing in Dec in Goa. There is also a back route which is a short walk to Mandrem beach (Erika had provided walking passes), making beach access easy. Salvador, Erika and the entire staff were very accessible and provided us with anything we needed. Also, I personally appreciated the presence of mosquito net in the room (though we didn't see much of them or any bugs). The balcony and open lawn made for good unwinding in the evenings. WiFi was ok, but wouldn't count on it for heavy internet working. Good sized bathroom with hot water facility.
The property was exactly as expected and facilities were what were called out. So the details below is only for consideration during booking based on guest needs. Please note that the property doesn't have any associated meal/eating options. So, for any basic food one would need to walk down to the beach. Water is available, however, there is no 24 hour concierge, which was a struggle when we came back late one night and realised that we had forgotten to pick up water. Maybe a self pay kiosk with basic essentials like water, dry snack items, etc. could be arranged. Also the room had only fan (again clearly stated in the site), which we had anticipated would be sufficient in Dec-end, but the temperature from the morning itself would sore to 34 degrees and skylight on the roof + only fan, did make the cottage quite hot. Also, there was electricity disruption in 2 days out of our 3 days stay, spanning from early morning to afternoon, making it impossible to stay in the room. Hence, recommend this as a good value for money option, but do plan for the day to start early and be outside vs. indoors.

Avalon is a wonderful place to stay. Its serene and squeaky clean; Beach/eateries are a short walk from the place.

I had my own little bungalow. It had limited space but was nice to have my own little house. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. You have to walk through the Ashiyana yoga village, but that is always a treat!
The bed was uncomfortable and there was barely any space in the room to put anything away. No tables and barely any space for clothes. During busy shower times you get maybe 5 seconds of hot water... good thing it is always hot in India!

Erika was the perfect host giving us lots of tips on the area. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nice verandas to relax in after a day out. Walking distance from a super beach and restaurants.

Brilliant place! Huge thanks to Erika, Salvador and all of their wonderful staff for the care and wonderful hosting, always accommodating little requests and offers to help. The location is also nice and peaceful and provate feeling. Set back from the beach (so few mosquitoes and bugs!) but within easy reach of the water, places to eat and wander. Looking for ways to visiting again in the future

After a day at the beach, swimming, hanging around and enjoying great food it was a great pleasure to open the gate of Avalon and have some peace in your own little house.
