About this house rental

Deep cleaning before every Stay. Linen service and on-site laundry included. Large dining table (110 inches) and brightly lit dining room. Attached included garage. High ceilings, skylights in the Master BR and upstairs hallway, central air conditioning and heating, gigabit internet and a large, well-stocked kitchen and dining room with new appliances await your holiday! Each bedroom includes its own full bathroom and TV so there are totally 3 bathrooms with shower or tub (or both) and each with its own TV as well. Our front room has a brand new leather sofa and overstuffed comfy chair. 1 inflatable Queen mattress pad with Tempurpedic topper pads provide additional sleeping options. Upstairs Master is a California King with a brand new bath tub and new shower tile. Upstairs Guest Bedroom features 3 beds (including 1 Bunk bed with a twin and a full) and 1 large twin bed. All have new mattresses which are extremely comfortable. Upstairs Guest Bedroom also includes its own private attached bathroom with new full bath tub and shower. Roof deck has a table and several chairs and can seat 8-10 comfortably. The roof patio is one of the best spots for sunset watching at the end of your day. Our home comes included with a private dock as well. Home is officially licensed by Newport Beach (business license number BT20060905 Short-term Lodging Permit number: SLP10135) and is professionally managed and professionally cleaned with disinfectants before and after each Stay. Price includes 10 percent Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT).

Beautiful property in a great location! Host was wonderful and very accommodating! Only issue we had with the property was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Unfortunately; we had to re-clean the showers before using them. Otherwise, our stay was perfect in every way.

What an amazing little stay we had for my sister in laws bachelorette party. It was so convenient to all the stores and is walking distance to a lot of activities on the island/restaurants. It was so easy to work with Greg and our check in process was seamless. Would definitely rent this place out for my family at some point and hope to in the near future!

Great location on Balboa but the house has not been maintained and is in very poor condition. Upon check in: - Owner provided old door codes so had to call him to get access - Beds were not made with linens so made them up ourselves - Wet laundry in dryer - Towels and bed linens were threadbare and stained, old. Really poor condition - House generally unkept and dirty with dust, dirty floors, HVAC vents, windowsills, window blinds are filthy - Walls and woodwork all dirty, marked up - Primary bathroom had missing towel bars, leaking shower fixture - Porch was covered in sand and dirty-had to hose that off myself to make unusable Very nice Owner but for the price it was very disappointing.

My daughter and college friends absolutely loved the property and its plentiful amenities including the kayaks! The rooms have views and have so much natural light. The well appointed kitchen was utilized many times for special meals. And the property manager Greg was fantastic and even dropped off some special desserts. Highly recommend !

From direct connected garage to a view filled patio and master bedroom we had a wonderful stay! Great showers and large “clean” BBQ along with a fire pit just made us hover at our Balboa home much more than we normally do. The oversized TV provided a nice cool down spot to our days. Next time will have to try the bikes and kayak!

We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday this past weekend and had such a wonderful time I’m not sure where to begin… the home has a terrific layout for entertaining. All the rooms, beds and couch/chairs were super comfortable. Spotlessly clean throughout. And so many awesome extras–the kayaks, piano, patios, balcony off the master, games, bikes–we took advantage of them all. The house is literally steps from a specialty market and lots of shops and restaurants on the main downtown street. We will be coming back as soon as possible! This was absolutely one of our very top getaway experiences. And Greg you were such a thoughtful and responsive host, thank you so much!

I went here with a reunion of friends and this house could not be more perfect. the rooms are spacious and plentiful, as well as incredibly clean. I'm a stickler about cleanliness, and this is the first rental property I've been in where it seemed like they actually did deep clean. It smelled fresh and there was no dust in sight. The kitchen had every pot, pan, utensil, appliance you would need (including 3 different types of coffee makers!). The location is half a block away from the main Balboa Island shopping strip, which is so convenient. The kayaks are AWESOME--we had a blast exploring the canals. The only difficult part was parking in the garage, as we had a Honda Civic and a Toyota Corolla, which couldn't quite fit. But no matter, it was very easy to find parking on Little Balboa Island and took me no more than 5 minutes to walk to my car. If you are considering a place in Balboa Island, stop looking, you've found the place. You can't beat a house as perfect as this one.

Our children live all over the country, so Christmas and New Year’s is the one time a year we can always count on being together. We decided to do the gift of time this year and spend a few days altogether. We had the best time together, exploring, playing games, lots of laughter and the priceless gift of family together. The location was perfect to shop and eat in the village. We had more Balboa bars than we should have. I think we’d like to make this an annual destination.

As advertised Great location convenient to the main commercial street on Balboa. Walking distance to market and restaurants. Gregory was more than accommodating, responsive and helpful. We could not find the blender and notified Gregory and he delivered a new blender the same day. Welcoming basket from him was a real treat and very much appreciated. Extra refrigerator in the garage is very helpful with six guests. Would rent again for next August, but it was already taken. Some minor wears and tears in flooring and walls not abnormal for a rental property. Garage can hold one large car, possibly two small due to challenge of navigating in due to dumpsters in alley behind garage. Additional parking on Little Island was very convenient. All in all, a good choice for the price.

It was like Christmas morning for my family when we walked into the rental! The rental was so clean, inviting, bright and airy. There were kayaks, board games, sand toys, everything we needed for the beach was also easily accessible (chairs, towels, etc..) Two parking spots in the garage that we were so grateful for. Many extras were not unnoticed here-the extra towels everywhere, the fancy toilets, the rooftop, the bbq grill, so much storage and the home is nice and big! We had the time of our lives! My favorite part is the location, just steps away from the main road on Balboa where there is everything you could possibly want and need-restaurants, shopping, activities…there is a mini beach out front and your own private dock! Wonderful wonderful stay! Thank you soooo much for hosting us!

Greg was an awesome host! He was extremely communicative and always available to answer my questions from the moment I booked the rental to the actual days of the rental and during. The home itself is beautiful and in such a fun location. The roof top was our favorite! The home is right behind the little market which made last minute grocery purchases a breeze. Not to mention how walkable it was to everything else on the main road. I’d highly recommend Greg’s property for your next Newport trip! You won’t regret it!

This was a girls trip to play pickleball in Newport Beach. The host was always prompt in communications. The property was better than advertised. Outdoor and indoor spaces were thoughtful decorated with plenty of space for 5 of us to share. My only complaint was I didn’t tag on a couple of more days to the trip to enjoy all this property had to offer.

We had originally booked the wrong date and the owner was so kind to adjust his schedule to accommodate the dates we needed. Very clean and nicely furnished (very well stocked kitchen) house. We (11 adults) stayed only for one night. location is very nice. walkable to restaurants and shopping and also nice walk around the island. There is a parking garage for 2 cars, but we were only able to park one car comfortably. It was easy to find parking for other cars in my group outside without any issues.
