Amazing cottage, very warm and cosy with all amenities you will need. We were very lucky and we saw the Northern lights 3 out of 4 nights right outside the cottage. Would definitely recommend !

The cottage is just amazing!
The view from the living room is breathtaking, the place quiet and perfect for relaxing. There is everything you might need in the cottage and the Interieur is cosy and warm. We were very lucky and saw northern lights every evening of our stay directly in front of the house or above. The place of the cottage is a good base to discover different parts of Senja because even the way to the different spots is beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and offered their help if it might be needed.

Location was wonderful, and the cottage very cozy.
It also was clean and well kept, which cannot always taken for granted in Norway.
The ferry from Skrolsvik to Harstand does not function, which was a disappointment. That was of course not this cottage's owners' fault, but maybe worth a mention.

We loved everything about the cottage, it's location, for a number of different reasons was just perfect. The cottage is beautifully presented and we really enjoyed the outside in feel the sun room gave us. We were graced with the most perfect of weather but can see how the cottage would be wonderful at any time of the year. We love nature and saw reindeer, owls, a fish eagle, lots of arctic terns. Even swam in the sea off the beach by the cottage. We would love to return some time.
Nothing!

Amazing cottage with all amenities in stunning location right on the ocean. Large winter garden and open deck overlooking a white beach. Very cosy with wood stove when it is cool outside. Lots of nature and history close by.
That we had to leave ...

This little cottage was a gem! The views and location were excellent and the owners are so easy to work with. They sincerely care about making sure you enjoy your time. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with what we needed. We were able to go on a fishing boat with a local fisherman located just a few minutes down the road. We also were able to do a husky ride on the island. The area around the cottage is filled with war history and artifacts - was fun for our two kids to explore. I highly recommend this cottage -- I wish I was there now!
I can't think of anything -- we had such a great stay!

I can just highly recommend this cottage. Everything was just perfect and we enjoyed our stay very much.
As many other guests already mentioned, the location of the cottage is just awesome and great to observe the northern lights - we were lucky, and had a good aurora activity on two nights. The cottage is very well equipped, everything we needed was there.
The hosts, Bjørn and Paula, are very friendly and caring and want to make sure that their guests have an pleasant stay.

Beautiful scenery, location right on the water, nearby private beach and lots of places to explore with the old WWII bunkers in the area. The house itself is lovely, and the winter garden the ideal spot to enjoy the view in all types of weather. The house is clean, everything was in order, and Bjørn the host readily available and easily to communicate with both before and during the stay. We would stay again in a heartbeat, and wish we had stayed longer!
Found out too late that Ann Karin offers homemade food again, and was therefor unable to avail of it. We wish we could have used the external outlet to charge our electric car since there are very few chargers in Senja. It limited how much we could use the house as a base with an electric car. Also impt to buy groceries and have all you need since nearest store is 20 min away.

Very nice house where you feel very comfortable. Ann Karin, the housekeeper, was very friendly meeting us and providing us with everything we needed, including food, that we were very grateful for. Unfortunately, we were not lucky with the weather and the snow storm prevent us from any hiring or Northern lights seeing but it had nothing to do with the facility itself. Be aware that there are no places to eat or supermarkets nearby, so you have to drive every time you need something.
When we arrived, it was quite cold in the house but with all heaters on it became very warm and nice soon.

It's probably the most beautiful place where we have stayed. The views from the glass terrasse at sunset and sunrise are breathtaking. In two out of four nights we had incredible auroras (northern lights) coming from the North and going to the West, over the sea, that reflected the green color. Communication with the owner was excellent, and Ann Karin, the housekeeper was very welcoming, we bought from her superb home-made jams and two excellent apple cakes. We hope to return some day.

One of the few perfect house that we stay so far. Beautiful house located in serene place, facing crystal clear beach. Glass design house allow one to enjoy full scenic view at comfort inside the house. Kitchen is fully equipped. The house is spacious. The caretaker of the house, Ann - Karin is super lovely. She's so kind and very informative. She spent time to show us around, told us about some hiking places around, the stories and history behind the bunker nearby and gave us some tips on how to find and pick wild berries near the house. Place is quite and yet safe.
no complain at all
