We were met on arrival by Guillaume having had a long and hot wait for our hire car at Figari airport and a delayed flight. He showed us to our villa which was on the first floor with a terrace, we had a garden and pool view which was superb. We had wanted a BBQ but this was not available at this villa, only on the ground floor villas, Booking.com mixed up the Villa facilities. The AC was great and very necessary, bathroom spotless, soap and towels provided, washing machine was a boon and it meant you can travel light. Terrace was perfect for sitting out eating, the kitchen is well equipped with plates and crockery two induction rings fine for basic cooking. There are 9 villas on site with ample parking and a charging point for 2 electric vehicles, 2 pools are available with sail shades, plenty of loungers and a terrace around they were just perfect. The pools are surrounded by netting as occasionally they attract wild boar (only small ones!) There is an equestrian centre alongside with some mighty fine horses being trained, lovely to watch. We cooked most nights and borrowed the owners portable BBQ and his garden for one night. We shopped at the Spar only 600metres away for most of our requirements, we did try the Super U in Ste Lucie but found this very awkward getting out of due to the local traffic lights, we also went to Giant close to Porte Vecchio which was well stocked and cheaper but chaotic. The Spar did us just fine expensive but everything was well presented and lovely.
There is also a Boulangerie and a Boucherie in the same complex as the Spar very smart and lovely meat and bread.
Guillaume recommended beaches and local restaurants and generally provided as much information as was required. The Beach at San Ciprianu was lovely with plenty of free parking, however the real jewel which was not used that much was Plage Benedettu alongside Plage Cala Rossa. Enough free parking and seldom busy especially in the morning, coarse sand and very clean water.
The terrace could do with a small gas BBQ. There could be a mini oven instead of a microwave. However we really loved the place so these are minor improvements

The house was very clean, modern and well furnished. The complex where the house is located is peaceful and quiet, has 2 beautiful pools and horses nearby. Truly beautiful! Not too far from Porto Vecchio— like 20-30 mins depending on traffic. There were kitchen essentials like olive oil, vinegar, coffee and tea. The house also has a BBQ grill. Perfect place for 2-4 people max.
We weren’t provided with shampoo or body wash, which we thought would be included like any airbnb/guest houses. Also we were only provided with 1 small toilet paper roll- for 4 people and almost 3 days it definitely wasn’t enough. I recommend bringing your own as the host said it was our responsibility to buy a second roll...

The villa is beautiful! So spacious, cool, minimalistic, modern and a great bathroom. The owner is friendly and helpful. The patio is large and the beautiful and quiet nights just make it a perfect stay just outside porto vecchio
The surroundings of the complex are not really great. Although there are a couple of Nice beaches within a 15 minute drive (cala rossa).

It's hard to say what we didn't like because everything was just perfect - perfect location, host, house, equipment, pool, small "supermarket" nearby, even a pizza restaurant not far away :)
