Two days of my stay I had no TV to watch I complained but no one came to attend to me

Very friendly and polite staff... good location

The closeness to Cape Castle and the size of the room was about as good as this place got.
The staff were very unfriendly on arrival giving no information about the place (note I did speak to the owner who happened to be there & he did apologise).
Free breakfast was laughable- a cold omelette between bread and some fruit (which 2 out of 3 morning was either not ripe or going bad).
And for what I can only imagine is cost cutting…they have literally cut a normal bath towel in half to give two very small towels. The water ran out 3 times whilst I was there, only because they didn’t turn the filter to top the butt up.

The property was a little difficult to locate, even with local assistance. The immediate surroundings left a little to be desired , but once you were on the property, it was very nice. It has the feel of an Airnbn. I liked that there was a guard on duty and a locked gait to enter and exit the property. The staff were very nice and gracious. They also prepared a light breakfast in the morning. It was very close to the Cape Coast Castle. I would recommend it.
The location was at the top of an obscure dirt road and difficult to locate.

location was great.

good location but the road isn’t tarmac so difficult to get to even with a car. the actual room was nice, AC, fan, fridge and decent beds. Good breakfast with beautiful views.
No water to shower, and communication with staff could be better on the evening. A little difficult getting information on check in.

Our stay was wonderful, the owner put a lot of attention to detail. It is simply beautiful looking over the whole city with all those flowers, very peaceful very secluded and yet still in the middle of town. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I would book this place any time again and would recommended it in a heartbeat.
Nothing really, I have two minor suggestions:
- It would be nice if there was WiFi available. As guests from outside Ghana we struggle to get data on our phone and it would have been great if we had WiFi provided at the location.
- Breakfast was great, but it was the same sandwich each day, after awhile it could get a bit boring. nonetheless it was delicious.

Great location, close to everything in Cape Coast.
Friendly mother + daughter team looking after the place in the daytime keeping everything. There’s also a security guy around at night, so it feels really safe. All were waiting to help us with luggage when we arrived even though it was quite late.
The owner was really responsive to calls on how to get there and helpful at all times :)
Like everyone says, there’s a short, steep climb up to the hotel. The path is a bit rough, but nothing you can’t pull a suitcase up.
Loud music on Fri/ Sat night nearby (funerals, I was told). IIused earplugs and slept fine.

the room could have been cleaner; update towels - they were dingy and looked old

the breakfast
the location was horrible I couldn’t find it and it was not clean

The courtyard of the hotel was beautiful with flowers and plants. The staff were thoughtful and put us straight in our room before registering because we had a long trip. The breakfast was served nice and early allowing us to get our day started. Additionally, they connected us with drivers to get around.
The room was filthy when we arrived. The floor needed to be swept and mopped and the surfaces wiped down. There were mosquitoes and these little black bugs everywhere. Plus the bed was horrible, I could barely sleep the first night.

The place is clean and cozy, and the location is beautiful and very central. Staff are very nice and helpful, but not very professional.
There are upstairs rooms with balcony and view - but although the place was almost empty, myself and the only other guests were given windowless downstairs rooms.
No housekeeping / cleaning during three days' stay.
Breakfast consisted of white bread with margarine and *had* to be taken at 7.30...
Not exactly good value for money.

Breakfast was great - served on time and with a smile every morning. any time we asked they were able to provide - even our early morning starts!! the room was neat and tidy with a fridge; great fan; good AC and really comfy beds. the lodge is securely fenced and was very safe. if you had a car there was plenty of parking right by your room. the staff were really friendly and helpful, assisting with drivers etc. Easy walk into town - about 8-10 minutes to supermarket and Baobab; and about 5 minutes to the market.; 2-3 min walk to the corner shops for water or other drinks. The hotel is located on top of a small hill - so nice view over ghana towards the ocean. the walk up is only a short slight incline. the location is away from the tourist spot - so much quieter and safer. All in all we really enjoyed our time at this hotel.
not the fault of the lodge - but be careful of using Google Maps to locate this property - at this point in time there are 2 pins for "rans hill lodge" .... use the southern location that is closer to town. whatever app my driver from Accra was using - it took us there no problems but my google map location was wrong.
