Don't go half board, everything else is excellent

Location is excellent. Spa was lovely, very clean, good air con, superb shower

The choice for dinner on the half board package, 1 meat or 1 fish is very limited, starter was soup or salad, ( who eats soup when it is 25 degrees) , dessert was fruit salad or another cold dessert, there was no deviation from this menu, I asked for ice cream one evening with fruit salad and was refused! They sell ice cream outside the hotel during the day, so they had loads of it .

Zona calma muito bem localizada. Pequeno almoço diversificado. O quarto bastante agradável. Staf bastante simpático.

O primeiro quarto não correspondeu à expectativa. Virado para a piscina, não era possível abrir as cortinas sem que as pessoas olhassem para o interior do quarto. Depois de reclamar, mudaram para outro quarto. No outro quarto o problema era o tamanho da casa de banho, ou seja, é pequeno. Para me sentar na sanita, as pernas tinham que ficar por baixo do lavatório ou tinha de ficar de lado. Apesar de não considerar um ponto negativo, pode ser um problema para pessoas mais fortes.

Lovely mini break in a beautiful country

Location, 5 minute walk to the centre of the old town square, really quiet in the hotel which was lovely, and a fantastic view of the beach below

Pool area was a little small but not really a dislike, for a 3 day mini break was perfect

Ok but wouldn’t go back to the hotel

Close to the old town and beach

Pool was very small with approximately 10 sun loungers. Not sufficient for a large hotel. 2 sunbeds on the beach cost €20 per day and no other option as pool area too small. Breakfast was not great. No pastries and no choice of breads. Husband loves hot breakfast and he said it was awful

staff very unhelpful. very little pool seating. no atmosphere in the bar or pool area. breakfast very basic and have to queue for a seat even if not busy. staff clear tables as your finishing your food

Location was fabulous as was the spa. Really enjoyed our time in the jacuzzi , steam room and sauna . The breakfast was fresh and it was great you could get freshly made pancakes. It was spotlessly clean and fresh towels and toiletries everyday. Most of the staff were very friendly.

The closing time of the residents lounge and having to queue for breakfast if you wanted a seat inside but that wouldn't be a problem if weather was warm. Delighted we didn't pay for a balcony as some of them look out onto horrible old buildings. I thought the deposit of 100euros per person was a bit steep, it should be per couple. What can one really break in the small room??

Great location

We arrived from Lisbon & luckily got a parking space on the side of the road. Loved how close the hotel was to the beach - just a short walk. I liked how the pool was over looking the beach & just generally relaxing. We used the spa - staff friendly, facilities great- I liked that the spa will only take 1 room at a time so you get the facilities to yourselves. The room was bigger than I expected & had everything we needed (loved the balcony overlooking the beach). The hotel was only a few minutes walk into the old town with plenty of restaurants & shops. The hotel were very helpful & arranged our transfer back to the airport & let us access the facilities after check out to enjoy our last few hours on the beach

Breakfast was average (I did love the pancakes made in front of you but some pastries would have been nice). In general staff are friendly, however when it comes to breakfast there seemed to be pressure to just get breakfast over with. Staff seem hectic & rushed to finish up breakfast. 2 mornings in a row (at different times before 10) we were greeted with an unhappy man looking at his watch & pointing over to a table - not a welcoming or relaxing way to start the day. The bed / pillows are quite uncomfortable. I loved using & relaxing near the pool but it was freezing meaning I could only use it in very short bursts. There is also a limited amounts of beds beside the pool (maybe 10) meaning you might just be sitting beside the pool edge.
