Location, clean and not too small. Staff are friendly

Very disappointed to find that Peppers totally dominated any water view and that Sebels is really now an inland location. This is not clear at booking stage.
Entry via a back alley is not welcoming. Staff were however, very friendly and helpful - I asked for an escort back to the Sebel foyer at night as I was not comfortable walking there on my own in the dark. Adjacent cafe not open for breakfast which was disappointing. Signs of ageing in the bathroom included significant rust around the upper door surround. The rooms are not well sound proofed as I was asked to turn down the TV volume and then I was woken in the morning from the plumbing noise from another room. A rather disappointing stay - I would not recommend

Riley who greeted me at the front desk was a super star as he assisted my colleague in getting a room as he unexpectedly had to stay the evening in manly.
Riley also took time to show us to our rooms and explain the facilities / area to us ! He was a legend
Shower getting foggy as no fan working in the bathroom

Nice that it was close to the beach
No soap in shower and as we had a family of 5 could’ve done with an extra toilet roll.
Also no marking on light switch or given notes about lights needing to have all 3 switches on at front door to use all lights in apartment.

Staff were friendly, room clean, bed comfortable, quite central location, view.
My towel had holes in it which I thought was unacceptable.

The property in facilities were really nice and were in a fantastic location.
The only minor issue was the air conditioning, as it was turning on it would wake us up.

The location was perfect as we were there for a beach wedding. We were able to walk to many cafes and restaurants.

Location was great. Rooms very big but basic.
Elevator was very slow.
Everyone in our group was "locked" out of their rooms at some stage during our stay. We had to return to reception to get our swipe cards reactivated.
Extremely overpriced.

is nice to have a sitting area and kitchen separate from the bedroom.
The cafe restaurant was not open in the morning for breakfast or coffees.

close to beach
online it looked like it was right on the beach but in reality was in another building at the back behind others with no view. we had to pay for parking and there was no breakfast available- unacceptable for the tariff we paid. the shower recess didn’t drain properly - and we showered standing in 6 inches of water.

limited power points that were accessible. the worst I’ve ever seen for such an expensive hotel.

I did not like anything about my stay at Sebel. Pathetic in every way a hotel can be.
