Hotel Fantastico, molto accogliente e persone molto disponibile
Il pulsante dell'aria condizionata in camera non funzionava, la moquette nelle scale è molto rovinata

It was very clean, welcome muffins were lovely, bed was comfortable and shower was good.
Sadly this hotel is long past it's best, very tired, lack of maintenance and short on staff. The carpets were very worn, light bulbs not working and bar service very slow to painful levels. The WiFi was weak or non existant in much of the hotel apart from the main foyer area. The door to the balcony was sticky, and once open, tricky to shut.
The breakfast buffet was the worst in my stay in Sicily... selection was poor, most of it cold with no way to keep things warm, and once it ran out, it ran out.
They said they offered lunch but there was no information about it, menu's etc... and staff so short that I couldnt be bothered to hunt them down and drove to Lidl instead!
The location is a half an hour walk to the town so didnt feel like it was actually in Caltagirone. There are a good number of seemingly wild dogs left outside the hotel that chase guests and bark a lot. So be careful.
For the level of cost they charge and for what they offer, it doesnt balance.
In all honesty, I think it was probably lovely in the past but I got a feeling that NH hotels has given up on this hotel and its on its way out... there was a strong feeling of this amongst other guests at the hotel.

The receptionist.
The rooms, the breakfast, and the lack of maintenance.
The air conditioning doesn’t work properly

Amazing location, only 20 minutes from the old historic town with local super markets; restaurants and other amenities even closer by.
The room we had provided just the most perfect view of the old town and valley from our window. The Air Conditioning was up to date and work brilliantly.
The staff always smile as you pass and we're always patient and happy to help my girlfriend and I who don't speak Italian.
The pool is deep, cool, and perfect for relaxing beside.

the staff were excellent & guisy on reception was so kind to us & sorted out any problems & helped without a fuss. the 5th floor superior room had amazing views & bathroom very nice. overall good value
it’s very tired. swimming pool & area was quite dirty & unloved. I do understand the hotels suffered badly during covid but now they must refurbish where necessary to keep guests coming & be happy. the breakfast was ok but the bacon scrambled eggs were cold.
4.5
Clean, comfortable room with a balcony and fantastic view of the countryside. The staff was very polite and helpful. The pool looked inviting but the weather was cool so we did not try to swim. It was a very quiet atmosphere and hotel did not seem to be fully booked.

Only the room was good
I went for breakfast at 8am and everything was missing. No cereals, no eggs, no plates…. Bad coffee. .. Exspensive hotel - bad service. Never again!!!

was very good.

View, location, parking
Room was dated and dirty, swimming pool was not open even tho it's one of the key facilities listed and was actually a deciding factor on booking this property, 4euro per person per night in taxes is pretty crazy considering Ragusa is .75cents .
Staff didn't care about any issues mentioned and were more focused on getting us to take breakfast.
Far cheaper Airbnb in the area , like I said we only choose this for the swimming pool 🤣

Breakfast, room and view could not be better. Very well organized and staff very helpful, speaking also different languages. Also, the outdoor swimming pool was exceptionally clean and quite big as well. Very highly recommended.
The exit from the hotel to the main road was a bit difficult since there is no pavement. Just to be a little bit cautious!

The staff of this hotel is very kind and professional. We had some problems with our room, due to the doors was broken, the staff reacted fast and adequate. We have changed the room and received breakfast for free. The bed was big and very comfortable, localization and a view from balcony is fantastic.

Very pleasant hotel, very good breakfast buffet, lovely clean rooms.
Pool area very noisy at times, it seems used by locals.

There's nothing special to like.
Hotel situated next to Gravina Hospital and there is no places or restaurants nearby.
The hotel needs a refurbishment.
It's not up to standard.
WiFi no reception.
Breakfast horrible.

breakfast was excellent. Room was great. Staff helpful and polite.
Some of the hotel decor could do with a refresh eg carpets stained and worn in places. Parking was a little congested.

The breakfast room was a little dark...

Super friendly, professional and helpful staff.
Some minor works to be done here and there.

The staff was very kind to us, gave us a superior room with a huge balcony with the most beautiful view of the city and the surroundings - inspite having booked a standard room. Large room, comfortable beds and a real 5 star bathroom. Very nice touch is the ceramic decoration all over. We had a wonderful stay. Free parking provided.
Once an elegant hotel now a bit outdated specially the carpets. The dinner and the wine in the restaurant was a disgrace.

Friendly staff
