Achtung - Gruppenhotel

Das Zimmer war nett eingerichtet. Zum Strand gab es einen stündlichen Zubringer und Tickets für die Fähre.

Das Hotel ist auf Gruppenreisen spezialisiert. Die überwiegende Mehrheit der Gäste bestand aus Gruppen. Im Speisesaal, der übrigens nicht wie auf der Webseite mit Tischdecken eingedeckt war, wurden Tische für diese Gruppen zusammengestellt und reserviert. Die wenigen Paare mussten sich Tische zwischen diesen Gruppen suchen. Im Speisesaal war es laut und ungemütlich. Auch das Essensangebot selbst entsprach nicht unseren Erfahrungen mit 4 bzw. hier sogar 5 Sterne Hotels.

Lo recomendamos, pero mejor en junio o septiembre.

La atención, amabilidad, profesionalidad y simpatía del personal. Se ha mantenido en el tiempo muy bien el encanto del anterior hotel, etc

Quizás porque hemos estado en agosto por primera vez, la incomodidad de elección de horario para el desayuno, la cantidad de clientes que había y lo mal dimensionado que está el aforo de la piscina, en cuanto a tumbonas, espacio, etc. Aunque, por educación, se supone no permitido el ocupar tumbonas con toallas, sin clientes, se hacía por una mayoría. Por otra parte el desayuno no era excesivamente variado aunque el personal estaba muy pendiente de reponerlo. Nos han llamado la atención estos hechos, por ser un hotel de cinco estrellas. En otra categoría, ni lo esperaríamos!

Es un placer de hotel

Spa: si tienes suerte y te viene bien ir a determinadas horas puedes estar con tu familia en unas instalaciones super completas, con sauna, turco, jacuzzi y piscina con chorros. Gimnasio: es un gusto entrenar con vistas a la piscina. El espacio y el material son suficientes para no perder el ritmo en tus vacaciones. Hay toallas y bidón de agua, lo cual se agradece enormemente. Cena: La calidad de la comida nos pareció muy alta, es uno de los puntos fuertes del hotel. Personal: Por lo general el trato es excelente, desde que llegas y eres atendido por el personal de recepción, pasando por el del restaurante, hasta el de limpieza.

Al llegar el primer día a nuestra habitación tuvimos que matar a un buen número de mosquitos. Lo comunicamos y enseguida nos ofrecieron el enchufe anti mosquitos, que funcionó. Es mejor abrir la terraza lo menos posible.

Ciudado con las hormigas

La piscina.

Tener hormigas en la habitación y la única solución que nos dieron es darnos un bote de insecticida con un niño de 5 años durmiendo en ella. Estuvimos 3 veces en recepción para informar de lo que nos pasaba y ni caso. Falta de cocina en vivo en las cenas. En fin, el hotel está perdiendo calidad a pasos agigantados. Por cierto adjunto algunas fotos por si no me creen. Adjunto foto de la bolsa de basura que tuvimos que retirar de la papelera pues no podía caer nada al suelo. Saludos.

Absolutamente todo, las instalaciones de 10 y el personal, sin duda, de lo mejor que he tenido el placer de conocer. Somos viajeras frecuentes y repetiremos sin dudarlo, unas de las mejores estancias de nuestra vida.

Staff made our stay comfortable and good

Staff is the reason I rate my overall stay with an 8. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The ladies at the reception were very accommodating when I asked to change rooms. Barman very nice and friendly, also the staff at breakfast and dinner despite the fact that they were very busy. Location is excellent, close to El Rompido and plenty of options if you like to take a walk.

It's on the golf course, has a spa and swimming pools. So I guess that's where the 5* come from. We changed rooms (were in 239 which has a nice balcony but is located above the bar and very noisy) but both rooms were in needs of maintenance. rooms are very spacious but had hardly a place to charge electronics. Bathrooms are also in need of some renovation. Quality of food was mediocre, again considering it's 5*.

Nice resort, but not when large groups of people are hosted

The interior design of the hotel is really nice. The rooms are spacious. Beds are very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The quality of food in the restaurant is very good.

The resort is very much geared towards an audience playing golf (not surprising). So when the weather is not nice these groups spend a lot of time inside the resort, making it a noisy place, and the restaurant is crowded then. Don't come here if you expect quietness and rest. It would help if the a la carte restaurant was physically separated from the buffet restaurant (where the majority of people/groups tend to go).

Buffet, room. In our opinion and without any doubt the BEST HOTEL in the area! This hotel should be rated accordingly.

No Coffee machine in the room. We had to carry our luggage to and from the room...no assistance.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at El Rompido and felt it was good value for money.

The location was great for golf and a pleasant stroll to the village. The rooms were a reasonable size and the outlook from the balcony was lovely. The food was excellent, plenty of choice so we didn’t get fed up with eating there every evening. The staff were all very helpful and efficient.

The swimming pool was not open despite the weather being reasonable and the pool in the spa was too tiny to be able to swim. The spa was also a bit dated. I would say this is a 4 star hotel not a 5 as, apart from the golf, the facilities were limited.
