Descanso

El personal nos atendió con mucho cariño y nos recomendaron sitios riquísimos y típicos para comer. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y pasaron cada día a limpiarnos el baño y cambiar toallas. Las camas eran muy cómodas. Además, el hotel está cerca de la estación central de autobuses.

Perfect location with easy access to the beach. Excellent views, close to a variety of dining venue

Enjoyed breakfast overlooking the water. Lots to choose from but the eggs were always cold. Secure parking for the car.

The hotel looks excellent but the finish in the rooms is very cheap.

UN GRAN HOTEL

Las habitaciones de los hoteles son increíbles, todo excelentemente limpio, e instalaciones muy bonitas.

Tuvimos un problema con el tema del parking porque el personal no nos explicó bien al llegar, tuvimos un disgusto.

Nous avions 2 chambres, tres confortables et tres propres. Le personnel a été charmant, surtout la personne du petit déjeuner, tres souriante

Le deuxième jour, nous avons attendu jusqu'à 14h30 que nos chambres soient faites, car un groupe d'ados arrivait, et apparemment ils étaient prioritaires sur les clients particuliers.

Mini vacaciones

Todo en general,ubicacion,intalaciones y había un parking cerca por unos 4€ y pico 24h

No es que no me guste,si no una pequeña observacion que hago en todos mis viajes y es que desde el covid ves mucho gel para limpiar manos en zones comunes......pero hay una cosa que a todos los hoteles se les pasa por alto y es el mando a distància tv de las habitaciones,suelen acumular polvo entre los botones. No se si seria una opcion, pero conservarlos dentro de la bolsita que trae de fàbrica,con pasarle un paño humedo la higiene del mando seria más rapida.

Habitació no insonoritzada i sentiem als veïns roncar. Feia calor i encara hi havia el nordic. Vam haver de treurel de la funda per que no hi havia llançol.

E andato bene tutto ma poteva andare meglio

La posizione era abbastanza buona, mi e piaciuta la cena che e stata un extra, molto gentile la cameriera della sera e il cibo buono, la pressione dell'acqua in bagni eccezionale (ho problemi di caldaia a casa) ed e stato un lusso potersi fare un bagno con una vasca che si riempiva subito

Non mi e piaciuto l'atteggiamento del personale di giorno, é stato molto su aspetta e con calma: abbiamo dovuto aspettare che facesse una cosa per segnare la ns camera cosi come qualcuno di noi aveva chiesto del latte caldo e ha dovuto aspettare che chiedesse il numero della stanza a tutti i commensali prima di andare in cucina a chiedere il latte. Ho avuto la macchina e mi é stato detto che era grande e che non avrei potuto parcheggiare il garage e che comunque da loro era caro e di lasciarla per strada. Poi le ciabattine di carta a pagamento in un albergo 4 stelle proprio no.

The hotel is a modern facility and has parking (albeit with narrow turns and parking lots, not for big cars).

The room description is misleading. The hotel does not mention on the public page that it has no view and looks at a wall outside. The photo they show is a window with a closed curtain to conceal the fact that the view is on a wall outside. In addition the room is very small for the cost and was quite stuffy. The cost of the room was close to Euro 200. Breakfast is average for Marriott standards. They charge Euro 2.50 for a small bottle of water to take away. When I complained about the room the next morning and suggested that at least they should offer the water for free as a small gesture of goodwill they shrugged their shoulders and said no way. As it turned out customer service is poor too, they treat the customer with contempt and disdain. Will not return again.

An ok experience.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is relatively clean ( there is room for improvement, but it's ok the way it is, also). The breakfast is tasty, nice variety. We were able to check in earlier, so thank you for that! Also, we were able to check out late, but for an extra cost. It's understandable. The rooms are spacious. Twin room option is a good idea if you want more space in bed. The beds are one next to the other. The big screen TV was appreciated. The mini bar contained a nice selection of items. The food from room service is good, well prepared and delivered well packed and with everything you need ( salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sauces). The mattresses are not the best, but you can sleep on them for 3-4 days without complaining about much back pain ( or so it was in our case). Two types of pillows for different tastes. The bathroom had pretty much everything you need. The shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are big. The towels are very good quality. You can set the room temperature on both cold or warm by yourself, as desired. The location of the hotel is very close the a bus station which is convenient for traveling to Barcelona for example. Also close to two malls, a park, a farmacy, a supermarket and other basic things you might need.

The room service is advertised as 24/7. It's not! This is our second stay. Even though the first time we were provided with an explanation that it was a kitchen incident, at the second stay, it was clear the room service is only available from 7 to 12 pm. A bit disappointing. The breakfast even though is tasty, it's literally the same every single day ( on the first and the second stay), which can become quite boring. The thin walls of the rooms can be a problem. Tarragona is not very loud so you can sleep at night, but if you are a light sleeper, the walls are thin and you can hear if other people, in other rooms, snore loudly. The windows are not the best either. They don't make a great job in isolating the noise from the street. As I said, it's a good thing Tarragona is not loud during the night. All together I think we paid a good price for what we got.

A great stay

The hotel was located near shopping and just a stroll down the new rambla to see the seafront, old town and the roman sites. As we had a small car we were able to use the hotel parking which had elevators to our room floor. We got a nice room on the quiet side of the hotel with a view to a garden. The rooms were comfortable and we had a good night’ s sleep. The breakfast was also good. The hotel has a gym and a terrace. The people at the reception were very helpful.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. The breakfast was nice, but not fantastic. The parking was very small and one can easily damage the car

We only stayed one night but would consider staying for a longer period next time we visit.

Unfortunately the garage on site was full and considering our age and lack of mobility was a problem as we had to walk to the alternative public carpark.

Good but not great. Needs a better parking solution.

Parking situation is difficult. Underground parking only fits very small cars. Street parking outside is busy and requires constant meter monitoring to avoid tickets.
