Location of hotel is great. There's a bus stop right in front of the door and on the opposite side of the street there are rental bikes for €1,75 per day. So you can easily get to the city center despite being a bit further out. Sadly the machine of the bike rental didn't accept my bank card so I had to walk. Nice city park nearby so you can go for a nice jog.
But there are no eateries or markets nearby. You'd have to walk at least 10 minutes to get to a supermarket or restaurants.
Room was very spacious. Bathroom is suitable for wheelchair users. The kitchenette had everything you need to cook a light meal, even a corkscrew. All the appliances were present as advertised.
I booked a room with 2 beds, but got the room with 1 Queen sized bed. It's about 1,40m wide; quite small even for 2 Asians.
Room was not dirty, but it didn't feel clean either. I didn't find hairs or dirty bedding or anything. It's probably because the room is a bit old. The cups and utensils were covered in dust though. But it is a given that you should rinse everything before use anyway. I had to really clean inside the water kettle 4 times.
But all in all for €89 per night, it's an alright deal.

The kitchen was useful. It was a quiet neighbourhood and easy to get to the centre of town. There was a lovely boulangerie round the back.
The WiFi wasn't working at all whilst we were there there.

Third visit to this hotel - owners and all the staff are excellent - always make time for a chat and to make sure everyone is happy
not in the village itself and quite expense - however, it is Switzerland after all

Large rooms - plenty of space and the facilities all worked.
Front desk didn't open until 2.30 pm and wouldn't let you into the rooms until 4pm. Those coming in late had to get them from a locked box which wasn't obvious or easy to get into causing some panic. In the rooms basically nice and tidy but the white sheets and duvet cover was heavily stained, hopefully coffee but couldn't be sure. Breakfast wasn't part of booking .com reservations although and there was no way to buy it if you hadn't booked it in advance so only some guests had it and those without were not allowed to eat downstairs with the other guests. A shame because there is an excellent boulangerie just around the corner. There was a mixed message though, initially this was permitted - and staff even offered guest to take a coffee with their purchased food, but then guest were asked to pay for it and not to do it again - rather rudely in some cases. Most staff were lovely, particularly in the evenings all spoke English but one was rather rude in the mornings making mostly around breakfast issues but it made the stay a worse experience than it otherwise would have been.

great location for our purposes. simple check in and check out
parking has to be booked in advance and is chargeable. 12 euros. cost not an issue but would like to have known in advance. parking in proximity is currently free however. although due to change in spring

Plenty of space for 5 of us. Comfy beds and private parking . Friendly staff.
Bed sheets were stained. No good having white sheets if they don't come clean in the wash . You could tell they had been washed but had dirt and dried blood on 2 of them. Room needed a paint job.
Lift wasn't working to 3rd floor.
Good job we were tall otherwise microwave/oven would need a chair to stand on to reach.

Spacious room
Kitchenette in the room was extremely handy!
Noisy room (I was on the ground floor, adjacent to the parking lot)
Bed was not great (mattress on one side was better than the other though)
Heating in the room did not work properly, and made quite some noise.

Perfectly nice room. Basic but fine for what we needed. The staff were helpful enough and the hotel was right by a bus stop into town.
Requested a twin room but ended up with a double room. No aircon. The bathroom was fairly Spartan.

The emenities were perfect.the staff was great!
The walls were thin. I could hear a lot of noise in next room and hallway. Nothing that kept me up though. Just during the day.

Close to the University.
The room seemed oldish, cheap, for a lot of money. We were located close to our meeting venue, but far from the city center. Smell in the bathroom.
