Birthday Getaway

I absolutely loved everything about this property The location, amenities, food,but my absolute favorite was the staff so warm and kind always willing to help navigator Jon thanks for remembering my birthday and having a special treat sent to me that made me feel extra special I am definitely coming back and have recommended this wonderful gem to friends and family

I loved friendly staff, the open lounge area, spa and retail shops.

I didn't like the 'spotty' WiFi...my text messages didn't go through so I had to constantly resend my texts

Location and facilities are great

The suite (#2502) was awful and in need of urgent refurbishment. The floor was heavely damaged. The view included the waste container park of the hotel. No reading lights in the sitting room, just a number of too white bulbs in some ornament on the ceiling. No light button on the wall next to the entrance of the windowless sleepingroom. No light next to the right side of the bed. Tea bags but no water cooker. Connecting doors were far from sound proof. The room door didn't close: no necessity to put a light on at night. But most annoying was the airco that gave a deafening blast of cold air every five minutes. For approximately 700 USD per night including taxes, excluding breakfast, we felt cheated. We understand that most suites are of comparable quality. When checking out, we got the uninvited advice to check out the other Renaissance hotel in Oranjestad next time, because of the better rooms.

Vale pelos flamingos

O acesso à ilha dos flamingos sem dúvidas é o ponto alto desta acomodação. Além disso, o entorno do hotel é bem servido de opções de restaurantes para quem deseja sair a pé. O shopping anexo ao hotel é pequeno, mas conta com boas lojas, especialmente de artigos de luxo.

Procedimento de check-in poderia ser mais atencioso. Ficamos duas noites e não foi feita a limpeza do quarto, nem arrumação da cama, o que é bastante decepcionante em um hotel desse nível e preço. As amenities oferecidas no quarto são um tanto quanto precárias. Custo x benefício do café da manhã também deixou bastante a desejar.

A estadia vale pela ilha que possui praias belíssimas.

A ilha privada do hotel é lindíssima, a estadia é válida pelas belas praias da ilha.

Me hospedei no 5o andar e havia uma reforma em alguns quartos, a partir das 8h da manhã começava um barulho insuportável de batidas de portas no corredor, depois constatei que as batidas das portas eram provenientes da reforma e de alguns funcionários da limpeza, lamentável. Outro ponto a ser melhorado é o buffett do café da manhã, é tudo muito bem feito, porém repetitivo, todos os dias as mesmas opções.

1: If you like party, this is the right place for you. 2:Flamingo Island is the best out of my whole trip . 3: I love the Starbucks, They are delicious and super friendly.

First of all let me say the pictures you see here it’s across the street from other Renaissance property, I booked this one because of those amazing pictures, which is Miss leading, because of that I was very disappointed to booked a year ahead of time, paid 600+ per night to not on the beach,we have ocean view room , there are above the swimming pool , very loud all the time till 9 or 10 pm, Plus next to main road, cruise ship in and out , it’s not the relaxing. If you eat there, they charge service fee and want you to tip , that’s ridiculous I’m sorry, if you charge service fee which is totally understand because not every country has the tipping culture,but don’t require to tip if you already charged more than 15% of the service fee.

Very relaxing, pool, beach and amenities are very nice.

The private island and the free ferry that leaves from the hotel lobby. Also the beach area on the ocean resort is very pleasant.

We stayed at the Marina and found it very noisy.

Beautiful private island with a great beach. Clean, modern hotel with a wonderful staff. Easy to get to from the airport

The private island was beautiful and the 15 minute boat ride to and from it was a blast! The staff was exceptional, pleasant, and informative . The hotel was very well kept and very clean.

It was quite loud at night, but it is in Aruba on the Main Street, connected to the mall, and near the airport, so it’s kind of unavoidable. There was some loud maintenance going on at 6 am a couple of mornings, but besides those issues it was wonderful.

Unclean room, inattentive staff

More than one restauruant options

Staff at the restaurants were not attentive and clearly favour those that tip the most. Not suitable for European clientele, very American. Our room was dirty. It had pubic hairs all over the toilet seat, shower was not clean and nor was the sink. The bed had strands of hair. Some hotel guests were aggressive on a water taxi with an incompetent hotel driver. The hotel did not follow up with our concerns despite us reaching out. They’ve still not replied to our emails. Expect there to be big corporate functions which will ruin your stay if you’re there to relax.

Gostei muito do quarto, era impecável e melhor do que o esperado. Limpeza excelente também, funcionários muito queridos! Fomos em viagem de lua de mel e ganhamos presente do hotel!

Esperava mais da piscina e da praia privativa do hotel. A ilha dos flamingos e Iguana é lindíssima. Valeu a pena por essas duas praias.

For the amount of money, to not have air conditioning in the hallway was unacceptable

the location of the hotel was great.

This is my second review that I've been asked for. From arrival, I kept letting the front desk know that the hallways to the hotel were not cool at all. Each time it was as if they were hearing this for the first time. Each time nothing was done.

This was the ultimate relaxing vacation

We loved the private island that is part of their property. We also thought that all of the resturants were excellent. The property had so many options for activities and it was centrally located so that it was easy to walk to shops and restaurants nearby.

We wish that there was more sound proofing and the quiet hours were more strictly enforced. There were several nights where we woken by loud people in the room next to us.

Great resort. We stayed at the Ocean suites which is a better location than the adults only site. The best bit was the free boat ride to Renaissance Island, where the Flamingos walk around the beautiful island lagoon

Amazing! Everything is great. Breakfast is the most delicious. The gym is good. The boat takes you to the private Flamingo Island. Heaven. I will not forget this vacation!
