Very happy with the stay at Porto Assini, I would very highly recommend it for a relaxed stay!
Next to the beach, and they also provide with sunbeds and umbrella, so that you can enjoy a nice swim right after waking up :) The nearest village is a very short drive away (Drepano).

Ideal location for a family getaway from Athens
- Spacious room and balcony with a nice view - Excellent beach access - Spotlessly clean and large studio with 4 beds, perfect for families with kids - Need to get in the car to get the basic necessities - Good WiFi - Efficient system for entering and leaving the property - Complementary umbrellas and sunbeds (but you have to carry them yourself, not easy with 2 small kids)
- We were missing a microwave oven, which is useful when you have small kids to heat up lunch and/or baby milk, etc. - Not a criticism of the property, but the sea was difficult to access with small children, as it had sharp rocks when entering. An entryway, or partial cleanup of rocks could do wonders here.

Beautiful quiet spot for a relaxing holiday
We hired a car from the airport to get here. There's ample car car parking with sun shades. The owner lives on site. He met us with the keys and showed us around. The apartment was spotlessly clean with good facilities, and was cleaned every day. The air conditioning worked well which was very welcome after hot days exploring. Our apartment overlooked the garden and countryside beyond with a partial view out to sea. It was beautifully tranquil sitting out in the evening on the balcony looking out towards Asini town. The location is fantastic for the beach (mostly sand, some shingle) which is just through the garden. We visited at the beginning of September and the beach was really quiet. Sunbeds and beach umbrellas are provided. Tolon is a 20 minute walk (part on the road with no pavement) and is lively with bars and restaurants. There are two good restaurants around 10 minutes walk in each direction on the beach. The next nearest big town, Nafplio was our favourite for restaurants with lots of choice. The area is also a good base for exploring ancient sites. Just down the beach is the site of ancient Asini. Nafplio has a very impressive hilltop fort. Both Mycenae and Corinth are within an hour's drive.
The roads directly leading to the property are single track and difficult to find the first time but you get used to it and they're pretty quiet

Superb
The apartment is spacious and clean with a large balcony. Right in front of the sea with direct access to the beach. We also had the possibility to use the sun beds provided by the host. The beach was quite, clean and the water was beautiful It's ideal if you are a couple with small children.
The shower is a bit small, other than that everything was perfect

A special spot
The location is very special. It is close to interesting sites and popular beach areas but it a little oasis of peace. Nikos and his wife were welcoming and friendly.

Beach Life and Good care
The apartments are directly at the beach. Nicos provides excellent and professional service. There is a fresh water shower for when you leave the sea. We found it hard to leave this magic place. Come with your own car or rental and eat out in superb nafplio!

Great hospitality!
A little precious hosted by a wonderful and caring family. The apartment was spacious and thanks to 2 ACs, everyone could enjoy the right temperature. Also a perfect spot to access the cultural highlights of Epidauros, Mykene, Argos, Nauplion.. Beach and ocean are fantastic, and if it is too wavy in the afternoon, the calm Kondili beach is just some minutes away.
