About this house rental
The house
This lovely beach house is located only 150m from the Dromana beach and just a 10 minute walk to the shopping centre. This house has been recently renovated and boasts a beautiful kitchen with stone benchtops and enormous stainless steel oven plus dishwasher. It has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms inside. It has a large reverse cycle AC; gas central heating; flat screen TV with Netflix and DVD player; bluetooth speaker, espresso machine and lots of toys, books and games to keep everyone entertained.
The unit in the backyard
PLUS out back there is a large self-contained unit with lounge, kitchenette, queen bedroom, 2 single beds, bathroom and toilet. It also has a reverse cycle AC plus TV and DVD player. The unit also has a toaster, kettle and microwave oven.
So this house is suitable for two families or multi-generational getaways!
There is also free unlimited Broadband WIFI in the house and unit.
Linen
We supply pillows, doonas in their covers and extra doonas are in the wardrobes if needed. Please bring your own sheets, pillow cases and bath towels OR we can order a linen service for you at an additional cost of $25 pp which includes all linen and bath towels, all you need to do is bring your beach towels! If you wish me to arrange this please let me know when you book.
The outside
Outside is a fabulous merbau deck with a Weber Family Q gas BBQ and outdoor setting for up to 10 people. This area leads onto a beautiful fully fenced backyard, great for kids and/or pets - whatever you like!
There is also a table tennis table for the teenagers plus an activity climbing play centre for the little ones.
The backyard is completely sealed off so it is totally child and pet friendly.
Bedding
The house has 2 x QS beds in separate bedrooms plus a third bedroom with 2 single beds.
The unit has one QS bedroom and two single beds.
The house and unit combined have three bathrooms and 3 toilets.
Activities
Golf courses, wineries, day spas, child friendly beaches, surf beaches, fishing, the newly opened Arthur's Seat Eagle gondola and great restaurants all at your doorstep.
I highly recommend The Valley golf course which is 5 minutes away at Safety Beach. It’s flat, testing and very picturesque, and only about $30 per round for green fee players.
Also, why not try the Enchanted Maze at Arthur’s Seat. There are ropes courses, massive slides and lots to do for all the family. We have been there many times and highly recommend it.
If you like a drink there are 4 premises about 1.5 km away just over the other side of the Freeway, about a 25 minute walk. There is the Jetty Road brewery, the JimmyRum distillery, the Bass and Flinders Distillery and a cider distillery! All within 500 metres of each other! You can also get a meal at some of them at reasonable prices.
Shopping
The IGA in Dromana was awarded the best in Australia, check out their cheeses and seafood sections, it’s about 5 minutes by car. Aldi is about a 15 minute walk and you pass the Dromana Indoor Market on the way which is always worth a look. If you keep going past the freeway you will find The Factory Antiques which is a great place to find a treasure!

Lovely house for extended family to stay in. Walking distance to the beach and Dromana shops. Comfortable beds, plenty of space, well equipped. Good living areas in and out. Only suggestion would be ceiling fans in bedrooms 2 & 3 in the main house as they got a stuffy on hot nights.

This property was perfect for 4 separate couples/families.
We had all travelled long distances to attend a National Dog Show. We weren't spending much time at the property..Just dinner and bed then gone early. We did our best to clean up and hope it was left ok after a 4 night stay with so many of us. We would have loved a small battery blower vac to help tidy outside.

Loved the house and location. Plenty of room for all nine of us. A short walk to the beach. Only issues were the house could use some updating. We had young children that required naps and needed a dark room that couldn’t be achieved with the blinds provided. Every door in the house made a lot of noise too. The bed in the master bedroom was rock hard to the point we had to go buy a blow up mattress to go on top. These are all circumstantial issues. We still had a great time spending time with family.

We stayed 6 nights and were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the door! The house was so spacious with plenty of room for the 5 of us to stay, sleep and play comfortably. Lots of supplies available and a loads and plates, bowls, cups, cookware and cutlery. Everything you need is right there. Huge backyard too!
Nice and close to the beach and close to the traffic lights, making crossing the busy road safe with three kids in tow.
Easy walk into the shops also which I was great considering getting a park in Dromana over summer is near impossible.
We had a wonderful time and hope to stay again soon :)

Had a great few days racing mountain bikes in the local area and our accommodation was great for us and our bikes. Plenty of room to wash, store and maintain our bikes. Plenty of space in the house and importantly a solid internet connection and Netflix / Kayo access 👌🏾

This was our third stay at this property. We absolutely enjoyed our recent stay. The house is always clean, comfortable and spacious for the 10 of us and no bunk beds which suited us fine. The property is amazing and caters for everyone! Huge kitchen with modern appliances and plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses for ten people, open plan with dining room table adjoining for ease of serving food. The lounge room was spacious and having the television up on the wall is a useful feature to enable more space and set up the couches for easy communication across people sitting on the various couches. Three spacious bedrooms in the main house and thoughtful night lights on the wide hall for walking to the kitchen/bathroom in an unfamiliar place.
The property keeps going! Gorgeous wooden deck outside with large and comfortable outdoor dining table and chairs, open up to a beautiful and enclosed grasses area. Table-tennis table under cover, perfect kids and adults alike and a small outdoor play equipment set for the younger ones.
Then a fully- equiped granny flat with separate bedroom with queen size bed and two single beds in the main room which can equally operate as a second bedroom.
Finally, dealing with the host Paul has been a delight. He promptly answered all my questions before and during the stay. I accidentally left a library book behind and it seems he is an Agatha Christie fan also! He is kindly going to post the book back to me, not even asking money for the postage. A kind, thoughtful host with excellent communication skills. Go ahead and book! You will not regret it. Perfect venue for a weekend away with my family and friends.

We had a family wedding in Red Hill and needed a property that had multiple rooms for the many different family members - we found it!
It was exactly as pictured and stated and Paul was fantastic to deal with. (We had one issue with some missing linen but as soon as Paul was made aware, he sorted it out - fantastic customer service)
There was heaps of room for all of us and the self-contained unit out the back was awesome.
Great location with many different eateries very close and within walking distance. Easy to drive to the mountain biking paths also.
We enjoyed our walks (and runs) down by the beach.

The place was clean, spacious and very functional for couple of families with Kids...Our kids loved the Ping Pong table and Basketball Hoop at the Front of the property.

We have just stayed in this property and had a great time. Our group comprised six adults and three very young children. Plenty of space for everyone, both inside and out. The kitchen is very well appointed with plenty of new crockery and cutlery. Very clean throughout. Paul was very accommodating with all our queries and responded very quickly. We would definitely consider it again in the future.
