Everything about our stay was wonderful. Our little welcome text from Maggie was just the icing on the cake really - she really paid attention to the finer details in the room as well - the breakfast supplies were outstanding, and we may have overindulged as a result! The bathroom was lovely and clean, supplied with everything we needed.
It was all perfect. Nothing to dislike. If we were being really picky, we'd have liked it to not be raining so we could enjoy the surroundings a bit more - but that is absolutely nothing to do with the host or the accommodation.

Beautiful setting, a well equipped and very comfortable base within easy striking distance of Bognor, Chichester and Goodwood.
Nothing-it’s absolutely lovely.

Ample provision of food. Usable bedside units, with lots of drawers.
Wish we could have made use of the double doors out onto the patio - work was clearly 'in progress' on the steps. As it happened we would have been blown away by the wind. A few little hooks in the bathroom, for flannels etc, would be nice.

Remote, quiet, safe and beautiful location
Comfortable and clean room
Beautiful building and room
Private parking
Well appointed with a fridge and breakfast items
Easy to find
Close to amenities / shops / pubs
Very kind, attentive and helpful owner
Comfortable towels
For a touch of extra luxury it would have been even better to have access to a Nespresso type coffee machine (rather than coffee bags) as well a slightly higher end biscuits/ muffins, and orange juice (eg Tropicana / own brand fresh orange)
Also higher end toiletries would have made it feel more special but we appreciated having some toiletries to use

Thank you, Maggie, for an unforgettable stay in Old Chapel Forge. This was our 2nd stay, and we just love the accommodation and surrounding areas. We had 2 days of beautiful weather, and after exploring Chichester and visiting the cathedral, we relaxed in the lovely garden and spent our 2nd day on West Witterings' white sandy beach. The old Chapel is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. Lovely breakfast hamper and fresh fruit was greatly appreciated. We recommend this to everyone. Thanks again Maggie x
Nothing to dislike. The accommodation caters for everything and all information regarding the area and local attractions are well documented.

Would go back in a heart beat. Maggie was amazing lots of lovely food left fresh fruit/ yogurts / Bread /orange juice so friendly and helpful.
The scenery is stunning I went to unplug from everything for 2 nights mission accomplished
Maybe a microwave but managed fine without

The room was very comfortable and peaceful and the decor very pleasing
I would have liked an additional single chair. The sofa was comfortable but restrictive and with the low table made eating awkward. The breakfast arrangements were disappointing although dietary needs were catered for.

nothing! we loved everything.

A beautifully presented room and the breakfast basket with cereal, muffins, biscuits and a small loaf of bread was lovely with yogurts, orange juice, milk and butter and jams in a small fridge. Lots of tea and coffee provided too. Nice sitting areas outside with seat cushions provided in the room.

Loved the Old Chapel forge, spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast basket was good and the bed was big and very comfy, we both slept really well. Although it's next to a road we couldn't hear traffic at all, lovely and quiet with a great view across fields. Maggie was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.
A vanity mirror would be good for make up, possibly on the window cill. Just a small thing which didn't affect our stay.

A lovely, comfortable converted 4 hundred year old barn.
The location is good, however access to local amenities is difficult if you don't have a car, as the road doesn't have a path. We travelled on a motorcycle and needed to get taxis.

Good location and view from our room. large comfortable bed!
slightly awkward washing utensils in the bathroom. Some traffic noise as next to main road, but not that bad.

Hospital host, very clean and well located. nice selection of fruit and breakfast goodies. Very comfortable and could not fault anything.

It was a lovely quiet location with easy access by car to both Chichester and Bognor

Character building, well equipped, comfortable and clean and warm with nice view of sunset.
Fridge was well stocked with supplies for continental breakfast.
The only place to wash your crockery was the bathroom sink but it would be useful to have a spray cleaner for the sink and washing up liquid.

My husband and I were celebrating our birthdays and wanted somewhere quiet, intimate, cozy, and peaceful. The Old Chapel Forge ticked all the boxes. Everything was on one level which made it very comfortable for me and it had everything any couple would need on an intimate break. Maggie, our landlady was just superb, we wanted hot milk and we got it delivered to the doorstep in a thermos. We both enjoyed our stay at The Old Chapel Forge and we recommend it highly.
Well, this is not necessarily a dislike, it could have been quite convenient with a small microwave to heat the milk but that deficiency was wonderfully addressed to our satisfaction.

Maggie provided plenty of food options for breakfast. She was available had we needed anything. Everything was clean and fully working. The room was warm and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The view from the room was of a lovely open field, with trees and sheep in the distance. If we had gone in the summer, we would have loved using the private garden.
The only drawback for us was that the property is on a fairly busy road. We often prefer to walk out from our accommodation, but we didn’t feel comfortable doing that from this property.

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Cottage was quaint and comfortable.
It needs to be made clear at time of booking that breakfast is continental style and consists of a hamper of packaged items. Although the hamper was well-thought out and plentiful, there was no facility for a proper cooked English breakfast which is what we would have liked.
