Sehr schönes altes Schloss in toller Lage. Im Erdgeschoss herrschaftlichen eingerichtet. Sehr nettes entspanntes Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück ohne verschwenderisch zu sein.
Durch das 3. Bett war es etwas mühsam zum zimmerausgsng und zum WC zu gelangen

Breakfast was spot on, beds were comfy, really liked the relaxed atmosphere and crazy golf.

The breakfast was better than I expected. The young staff were very friendly and helpful. The setting was quite something. Overall a unique experience.
Pity there was no evening meal available but receptionist had some good recommendations in the nearby town.

After reading a lot of negative comments, my expectations where really low, but I think that this place is decent, not superb, but everything was clean, calm location, nice staff, good breakfast.
Bathroom is really small, it could be a problem for some people.

The best part was leaving
The rooms were filthy and the smelled awful. I don’t know why they even bothered giving us the Wi-Fi if it didn’t even reach the rooms. I was scared to step with bare feet on the carpet because of how dirty it was. I found stains all over the carpet and dust along with dirt all over. I don’t think the rooms have been cleaned since the castle was built. The rooms weren’t even in the castle for crying out loud. It was in a completely separate building. Absolute disaster. Go spend your money somewhere else.

Made to feel very welcome.

Setting - ambience (relaxed) - friendly.
Poor room lighting (no task lighting in family room - needed to keep ceiling light on keeping kids awake). Rooms in a developing condition (new bathroom versus scruffy room).
School group learning concept not explained (school excursion/field trip venue not explained at booking). Restaurant not serving during summer. None of this explained on website or at time of booking. Difficult to contact hotel direct except through UK (not ideal).

It is an absolute paradise, the chateau‘s grounds are beautiful.

Location was perfect in a small village only 10 minutes drive from the coastline. A charming place, far from the boring "chain hotels". Nice garden, very friendly and relaxed staff in a great old building. I stayed with my boys aged 9 & 12 and we all loved the evening walk in the surrounding countryside. Dinner (reasonably priced) was amazing. Car park just around the corner. I can definitely recommend Chateau Baffy!
It is after all a old building with long corridors and stairs but it actually adds to the charm.
Room cleanliness could have been on a slightly higher level. Spiderweb in the corners/ceiling and old bird droppings
on the window, all "natural" causes but would have made a big difference in the overall experience.
The bath/shower fittings could do with some TLC...

Fantastic breakfast!

The grounds around the chateau and rural location
Dinner was not available on the night we stayed. We did request in advance so thankfully we were aware of this as there are no restaurants/bars within walking distance. We were told the nearest restaurant option was a 5km drive.

Room not clean
Found a toy and empty water bottle under the beds
Carpet is not clean either
Coffee at breakfast is not good, instant coffee would taste better

The chateau is in beautiful surroundings and is a lovely building. The breakfast was good and the staff helpful. The dinner we had in the restaurant was also very good.
When i booked I asked to reserve a table for dinner and was told the restaurant was was closed. On arrival we found the restaurant was open but we had already booked a table in the next town. We were told that when we booked there were only two of us staying and there were now 29. It would have been nice to be sent a message informing us that the restaurant was open. Also, as we were first to book why as 2 adults and a dog were we given the smallest room in the hotel with a tiny window? Having seen some of the other rooms which were a lot bigger and with large windows I don't really understand why.

The breakfast was very nice: croissants, baguette, bread, meat, cheese, egg, orange juice etc.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating.
The bathroom in our room was new and clean
There was decaf available in the room (Nice selection of coffee)
Safe parking.
lovely surroundings/countryside location. Big thumbs up.
The room did not feel like a family room. There was no tv, no hair dryer. Since we were only staying for 1 night, it was not an issue.

Staff on reception have a great welcome.
Check in procedure quick.
Nice gardens
Quiet spot
Very comfy beds!
Amazing view of the stars
No WIFI
Staff in restaurant (breakfast - May have been kitchen staff as was early) not very pleasant. I was in trouble for taking an additional pain au chocolat despite leaving early before the breakfast opened !
Basic accomodation but sufficient and comfortable and clean
