Accommodation was fine. Decor not very cosy, bit frilly for my liking.
No breakfast in deal
Decor. A bit too frilly for my liking
Using key was a bit hit or Miss at times.
Not always obvious where the lights were going to be controlled, if you get what I mean.

Loved the antique Victorian furnishing and the size of the apartment.
Nothing at all. Loved everything and every moment spent in the property.

Roomy, clean, walking 🚶♀️ distance to most things. Washing machine and dryer was awesome. Kitchen amazing. Great for feeding a family. Rooms so very warm for middle of winter. Loved it.

Very nice and warm apartment. Everything was perfect and clean. We will come back..
The owner treated us a bit disrespectful. Upstairs shower didn't work, we just had cold water and nobody seemed to care. Apart from that it was a lovely stay.

The apartment was beautiful and much bigger than we were expecting. The views of the Wallace monument were spectacular. It couldn't be any more convenient for a shop for a self-catering apartment.
Not much to be honest. Would have liked a TV in the bedroom ( but that's just a personal choice). The shower could do with upgrading as it's a big under powered. But they are very minor things.

The home was decorated with such beauty!!! Thank you so much for the washer and dryer and drying rack along with the ironing board and iron!!!
The small showers and the towels were so rough and old no fabric softener. And disappointed there was no sitting place outside. The traffic was horrific😮we just live rural and have never stayed at a place with street traffic so loud!!! Great experience to see how city ppl live!!! Very enlightening how everyone walks!! Everyone is so in shape!!! Beautiful people in Scotland!!!

Very suitable for big family with 2nd apartment available upstairs
Cold. Owners had to bring included plug in radiator to augment radiators

Where do I start, firstly the grill was disgusting, it is a joint oven grill. I turned it on to preheat and within minutes the apartment filled up with the smell of bacon, I went in to the kitchen and opened the door and was met with a large black cloud of smoke. The grill was thick with bacon fat and the shelf had definitely not been cleaned as there was burnt remains of previous food.
The upper bedroom was disgusting, the blinds on the window was yellow from what we discovered was nicotine, bit of a cheek when this is a non smoking apartment. The shower has low pressure and always ran hot and cold so we had to use the lower bedroom shower. The shower head holder, upstairs, has been previously broken and simply glued back together, it is the cheap plastic type that you would find in a bargain shop.
The bedside lamp in the upper bedroom was broken, I went to switch it on and received a electric shock as the wires were sticking out.
The upper bedroom ceiling is yellow, possible from nicotine, the smoke alarm in the living room had a plastic bag wrapped around it, highly dangerous to cover a smoke alarm.
The washer drier was decent at washing but abysmal as it took seven runs of a drying setting to get a half load dry. We ended up bringing home bags of damp clothes as they just would not dry.
The lower bedroom ceiling light is thick with dust, the carpet is old, or looks old, and dirty, there is too much furniture in the entire apartment, a lot of items not needed, almost felt like it was being used as storage. There is a stand up mirror in the lower bedroom that has a bolt missing, my Daughter went to use it and ended up screaming as it fell towards her and she was scared it would smash and hurt her 6 month old Daughter.
Parking is absolutely shocking, the owners have three vehicles, which leaves two slots for guests, most of the time it takes several back and forth to get parked or out.

Lovely place to stay with everything you need. Comfortable beds and very clean. Like the unusual character too. Would certainly stay again.
Was a little chilly in lounge first night but warmed up nicely following day. Although an unusually cold May😊 Kitchen always toasty warm.

Double room a diff floor so peace n own toilet n shower. U get whole house n no one else there. Everything u need..owners stay same grounds so handy if need anything...coop attached to the house so very handy...near bus n train also...clean spacious..WiFi..central heating..friendly owner..privacy...cleaning products available just mind take a tea towel with u...loads of bath towels and a good string shower...lots of positives...I am obsessed with angels and the decor was this in almost every room
Was only 1 wee problem ..but didn't affect the stay...the lamp and wardrobe in the 4 bed room shook and made a noise when anyone got up for the toilet at night but could easily be sorted for future stays with support under them...that was literally only fault n didn't affect stay just disturbed us a few times in night.. that was it only saying to advise on as maybe wasn't knwn
