Perfect hosts and location - great place to stay in Neos Marmaras

Andreas and his family are the best hosts. The Papagalos is located right in the heart of the village, overlooking the sea. The breakfast omelette is exceptional. The cafe downstairs is a great place for a pre-dinner drink and to watch the Euros when they are on! The rooms are very nice and well-appointed.

This is the second time we have stayed at Papagalos, and while we were there, they upgraded the Wi-Fi, which is great.

ΟΛΑ ΗΤΑΝ ΥΠΈΡΟΧΑ...!

Τα πάντα ήταν υπέροχα...! Κάθε μέρα όταν φεύγαμε για τα μπάνια μας χωρίς να ενημερώσεις καθαριζανε το δωμάτιο και στο γυρισμο το βρησκαμε πεντακάθαρο,το προσωπικό και ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν εξαιρετικοί άνθρωποι μέσα στο χαμόγελο και σε έκαναν να αισθάνεσαι σαν στο σπίτι σου,το δωμάτιο πανέμορφο και πεντακάθαρο και η τοποθεσία ιδανική,κάτω από το ξενοδοχείο λειτουργεί και το μπαρ που έχει μεγάλη γκάμα φαγητού και ότι φάγαμε άξιζε τα λεφτά του και με το παραπάνω,αν θες διαμονή που θα θυμάσαι μην το σκέφτεσαι σου συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα τον Παπαγάλο....! Σας ευχαριστούμε για όλα....!

We liked everything about the accomodation, first of all it is very clean, everyday the towel are changed and room is arranged. The room is small, but have everything you need. The hotel also looks very clean and smells good. The cafe also si very nice, we tried a lot of stuff, but coffee is really great. The location ia perfect, right in the middle. But most important thing that made our stay great - the host Andres. He is so nice? helps you with everything you need, give recommendations etc.

It would be useful a mosquito net, also the wi fi in the room didn’t work so well; and the bathroom door doesn’t give much privacy. But in the end all of these were forgotten due to an exemplary service :)

We’ve just had a 7 night stay at Papagalos Hotel and we can really say that it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is very modern, it has brand new furniture, free wi-fi and tv with YouTube, Netflix, etc. The hosts were very welcoming, they were with a smile on their face every day and they are eager to offer you all kinds of informations. Moreover, it was very clean, fresh towels, sheets and cleaning service every day. You also have to try their breakfast! All in all, we surely will come again at Papagalos.

A perfect holiday!

Andreas welcomed us with a warm smile and attitude. His family and the staff are very kind and polite and helpful with any problems. The hotel looks very modern, it has tasteful decorations and smells amazing. Cleaning was done very thoroughly everyday and the AC works just fine helping you to cool down from the heat outside. The view from our balcony was wonderful. The food was delicious and the cocktails were masterfully done and served at the hotel’s terrace across the street which benefits from shade from the surrounding trees and you get the chance to admire the harbour view. We had a 7 nights holiday here and we cannot wait until we have this experience again. P.S. there was a very cute family of cats (mother +4 kittens) that was living in the building next to us. We hope they are ok and you maybe get the chance to meet them if you will choose to stay here.

Sometimes the Wi-Fi signal went on holiday :)

i recommend for sure

the rooms are brand new, the staff was always smiling and they were greeting us every time they see us , also the owner of the hotel is available constantly and is happy to help ,our room was cleaned daily with details, the location is perfect you are right in front of the sea , also the hotel have fancy looking coffee area and outside area with really delicious menu , I was fascinated how this could be possible for that price

Unfortunately, due to the sound from construction and the other rooms, we got a different hotel

Nice welcome from owner, and smooth check in. Cosy family owned business. Location is good, room had a nice view of the sea. The ground floor bar area is nicely decorated and a good place to have a drink and watch some sports.

For us the sound insulation of the rooms was not good enough, so we had to find different accomodation. There was construction work ongoing in the building next door. Could also clealy hear the other rooms talking and having sex. Andres the owner is a very nice guy, and he informed me that he would offer a partial refund to help resolve this issue in good faith. Over 2 months later there is still nothing offered therefore I am writing this feedback on our expereince.

Will certainly visit again!

Our stay at Papagalos was exceptional. The rooms looked recently renovated and we had everything we needed. We were surprised the building even had an elevator which made arriving with heavy suitcases easy. The owner made sure we had an amazing time. When we asked late at night whether we could purchase some wine because all the shops were closed he provided a full package complete with ice bucket, glasses and snacks. The location was excellent with beautiful views of the ocean from our terrace.

The best hosts.

The hotel is located in the best part of the city. The view from the balcony is great. Andreas and his family are very kind and helpful. The room was perfectly clean during the whole time and they changed the towels every day.

We had Wi-Fi only in the cafe. Unfortunately for some reason you can barely use the internet in the whole town, so it was very hard when we wanted to check the near beaches and restaurants. The bathroom is extremely small, which wasn’t an issue for our short stay, but for bigger people this would definitely be a problem. Besides that our stay was perfect.

The location is very central on the water, there is plenty of free parking nearby (at the harbour). Nice view of the water from the balcony, very nice staff. The Hotel offers breakfast which is a plus, since Neos Marmaras does not offer to many places with breakfast.

Description of the room on Booking described a jacuzzi/bathtub which was not available, bathroom fan is very noisy.

A really great place to stay with a fabulous location in a beautiful town. I would one hundred percent recommend this hotel as a base to explore this region. Andreas and the staff could not have been more helpful. we will definitely be back. Thanks again for your hospitality.

Great!

The hotel is run by a very passionate and friendly family, we have enjoyed our talks with both Andreas and his sister. They both gave us suggestions in what we should visit in Sithonia. The breakfast was very good, we even had to bring some leftovers with us on our trips, because it was a lot! :) Thank you for making us feel so welcome on our first trip in Greece!

The room was smaller than initially expected, however it was recently renovated and did fit our needs. We would definitely book a bigger room with the seaside view the next time we are in Sithonia, as the hotel has a perfect view of the harbor of N.Marmaras.
