perfect birthday trip

Very helpful staff, gave us great tips for places to visit -comfortable room - nice sunset view

The beach - there are several beautiful beaches on the island - the one in front of the hotel is not one of them. It was also packed with umbrellas - the spa’s operating hours did not allow me to enjoy the facilities or book any treatments - it closes every day at 6pm (quite early for a hotel of this caliber at an island which offers so many places to visit and activities.

The one and only spot to stay on Palm Beach

Best location on Palm Beach. Beautiful and serene pool for adults. Spacious room. Friendly pool waitstaff. Delicious ice cream!

Poolside drinks are outrageously expensive. $30 for a piña colada made with the same mix as your local dive bar doesn’t make a ton of sense to me.

One of the best beach locations on Aruba with plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas.

The hotel is beautiful with a ton of chairs on the beach. Other hotels have reviews that complain about getting a beach chair. Compliments to the Rutz for having a ton of chairs and umbrellas on the beach and around the pool

We had no issues at all on her than drinks are a bit pricey. Amazing hotel overall.

Sete dias de descanso total.

O conforto e limpeza do quarto, cama excelente . Serviço de praia nota 10 , tanto do pessoal que arrumam as cadeiras/toalhas/guarda-sois como os que fazem os pedidos de comidas e bebidas. Ja fiquei duas vezes em outro hotel de Aruba, o Ritz está imbatível.

The vacation was one of the best that i have had over the last 20 years!

The entire resort was a "10," as I expected it to be since it's the Ritz Carlton! I asked for an upgrade, and they happily upgraded me for almost double my initial reservation. I found the business side of the vacation frustrating and a little shady. I was promised select upgrades for being on the concierge floor, which I only got because I complained bitterly. I was asked if I wanted the same seating every day, but on multiple occasions, my seating was given away to someone else. I was told I had select seating at the pool, and the seating was the worst seat on the beach. Lastly, I was told my resort fees were not going to be charged to me since I paid for this big upgrade, but I was charged about $101 additional each day. I had to get management involved to compromise and split the difference between them.

The communication between the promises made and the execution of these promises from the team on the ground was terrible. They did something I really hated. They all blamed each other for the miscommunication. In the end, the concierge manager, Reena, saved the day and made things right.

Nice place but the service needs work

The facilites were clean, not crowded,and provided a wonderful beach.

I found that the service both at the beach and from the housekeeping staff was under par. Everyone was polite and friendly however the wait staff at the beach would disappear for long blocks of time, forget your order or never come back with your order. Would forget towels when setting up chairs in the morning. Housekeeping missed one day, and provided inconsistent turndown service. It's Not that it was bad its just not Ritz Carlton level service. Food is grossly overpriced in both restaurants.

Loved it! Great time, beautiful property amazing service, Fully Ritz...would definitely stay again!!

Loved service, food, beach, property, casino. all lovely. we had our own car and the front of the hotel receiving staff were AMAZING with valeting and pulling up our car!! The whole concierge staff and front desk crew also amazing. As were the resutaurant personnel, the poolside cabana attendants, and the boutique staff and the coffee shop folks. All lovely and top notch.

they put us in a side room despite all my reward points where we could see the day boat excursion workers were urinating in the bushes at the end of the day before driving home. we escalated and they moved us to the center ocean view corner room across the hall immediately but the AC wasn't as strong as the first room and really should have upgraded us for our trouble.

Nice and relaxing good weather and friendly staff

The property was very clean and great view from our room. Staff were outstanding. Food was very good

The rooms were very nice but a little below the Ritz standard. more like a nice Marriott. The Cabana service was nice but we thought the loungers needed to be much more luxurious for the price.

The best place to enjoy a relaxing stay on the Aruba beachfront with premium customer service.

The service was extraordinary; the staff always greets you with a hello and a smile - and always asks if there's anything else they could do. The smaller number of rooms (as compared to the other hotels) made it easier to relax and enjoy the pool and beach.

exceptional beauty, exceptional service.

just beautiful. Short walk to pools and beachfront. plenty of shade available to retreat from the sun. enjoyed our Cabana and service was exceptional.

no complaints at all. Only suggestion would be the addition of a complimentary coffee service in lobby…… especially when you have an island power loss.
