Peaceful, quiet location, beautiful garden, spacious, spotless clean cabin, homy atmosphere, really nice hosts George and Juliet.
Very small fridge for self catering, we had to use our own cooler. An oven would be highly appreciated also, or a larger microwave with an oven function. There is no place where you can hang your clothes, a small wardrobe fitted in the bedroom would be nice.

The location is beautiful, and the accommodation is charming, with a great deal of thought into making it comfortable attractive and relaxing. Also cosy as we had rather wet weather for July.
The breakfast provided was lovely, and biscuits a nice touch.
We enjoyed our mini break very much and hope to come back.
I've recommended it to several people already.
Nothing. (only the weather!)

We loved the views. The wildlife. The peaceful atmosphere. The location. The lodge was so comfortable we felt so relaxed. We loved Tilly, Juliet & George were so welcoming.
The only thing that disappointed was we ate in for 2 nights and the plates were very small. But nothing major

Stylish and well equipped.
It was a little cold a night even in May

location, decoration, views, privacy
well it is a bit secluded but this is a conscious choice booking this property.

Everything was wonderful. Such a lovely location. It was very comfortable. Lots of choices given for our breakfast. The beautiful garden was so peaceful. Our dog had the run of the garden and enjoyed meeting resident dog, Tilly.
There was nothing I didn't like.
5.0
The peaceful relaxing area. We live on the Isle if Wight but it was nice to park up for 2 nights and relax and walk. Only 10 minutes to everything you need.
Liked it all.

A perfect place to enjoy the countryside. Quiet, peaceful, and next door to the marsh. Ideal location for bird watching.
Couldn't fault anything

A wonderful property in a location that’s unbeatable.

Breakfast was ideal and more than sufficient for our needs! To enjoy it in that setting with nature all around and sound of birds was fantastic!
I cannot think of a thing I didn’t like

The cabin was attractively presented and generally clean and tidy. The linen, in particular, was fresh and clean. It was in a peaceful location with a pleasant view. The furnishings were comfortable.
It was very cold even with the heaters going full blast and smelt slightly damp. In spite of paying B & B prices the breakfast was self prepare/serve with limited choice. For example, the advert gave the impression of artisan bread not a packet of supermarket sliced a toaster and rock hard butter. Essentially it is a self catering cabin with some breakfast supplies and basic kitchen equipment rather than a B&B

I loved waking to a view over the RSPB reserve and sitting out on the porch. There was a generous supply of beverages and breadfast ingredients. Puzzles, games, books and even a wind up torch were supplied. Clean and comfortable bed and lounge furniture. our host George was friendly and helpful. Our dog Ollie enjoyed the run of the large enclosed garden.
Really the only thing I didn't like was leaving to come home. It was a thoroughly relaxing break.

wonderful location on the Brading Marshes. The lodge was clean, warm and very comfy. The hosts provided home made bread, cakes and eggs as well as a large selection of breakfast cereals. the views across the marshes were spectacular.

A wonderful find and a birders and ale lovers heaven!
It was a very last minute booking as my partner and I wished to extend our holiday in the Isle of Wight. I'm so glad we did. Both our hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable. A special shout out to Tilly, the gorgeous and sweet Golden Retriever who helped settle us in!
The Lodge is very comfortable and not far from pubs and restaurants, however it is such a quiet place- bliss! From inside the Lodge you can see out to the Marsh, scores of Canada Geese could be easily viewed during our stay and a Marsh Harrier flew right by the garden a few times too! Go to the private hide and the Marsh opens up further to you. I brought my own scope and spent a happy hour each morning watching everything. Red Squirrels also regularly visit the beautiful garden however decided to hide whilst we stayed! Never mind, a short walk at Alverstone Mead to the squirrel hide solved that (take hazelnuts for squirrels and sunflower seeds for the friendly Great Tits!).
The hosts also own a microbrewery and pub in Bembridge, a lovely 3 mile walk away by the Marsh, an airfield and the islands only windmill. Well worth taking binoculars on the walk, more marshland birds, waders, harriers, kestrels, white tailed eagles and a Dartford Warbler seen!
The Pilot Boat Inn is well worth a visit. Although the microbrewery is relatively new, they clearly know what they are doing with some excellent beers. All, even the lowest % beer had full flavours and we stayed for a few! They also serve pizza and you certainly get your moneys worth- both our pizzas were piled up with toppings. Utterly delicious but sadly I couldn't finish all mine, happily it was popped in a box to take home!
A fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

superb ‘get away from it all’ location and beautiful, cosy and comfortable accommodation. Gorgeously soft bed linen and a very comfortable bed. The hosts were charming and friendly and we very much enjoyed chatting to them. The Continental breakfast was very generous and varied. We loved our stay; we’d highly recommend it and we would definitely return. Thank you Juliet and George- top notch!

loved it all, it was a lovely ,quaint cabin. Juliet and George have really thought about how their guests would be comfortable and it was so very comfortable. lovely sit on the front porch with coffee in am overlooking their beautiful backyard. we moved to another hotel, as TLOTM was a fill in for us for one night. we arrived at the new hotel , it’s nice, I immediately looked to see if TLOTM was available as we wanted to be back there…no such luck. We hope to go back to the IOW and if we do we will hopefully be able to stay here. George and Juliet are quite fun and interesting…Thank you so much…..p.s. it’s a short walk to a few pubs and a convenient store… could not have been more relaxing, all the little amenities you need!
nothing, it was perfect

There was nothing to dislike

First of all the location of this property is absolutely stunning. The views of the marsh are beautiful. It’s a good place to stay if you have a dog as there’s some beautiful walks right on the doorstep. We went on one of them and our dog loved it. The garden is very pretty and enclosed so is perfect for the dog to have a mooch around in the morning. We saw a red squirrel most mornings in the garden which was lovely. The bed in the lodge was very comfy and the breakfast making facilities are good. The day bed was appreciated especially for watching tv after dinner out! There’s a Tescos less than 5 mins away so it’s easy to get snacks etc. The lodge was in a perfect location for visiting the dog friendly attractions.
The only downside is it can get quite chilly at night without the heating on so if trying to be energy conscious bring lots of layers/warm pjs and blankets etc!
Didn’t stay long enough! 3 nights is not nearly long enough here!

Juliet and George were the loveliest hosts. The lodge is so charming and listening to the birds in the morning with a cup of tea whilst looking our over the nature reserve was ideal. We cant wait to return!

The Lodge was lovely - cosy and comfortable and the location was just what we wanted. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Our puppies were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed Tilly the retriever’s morning visits to the front door. We’re looking forward to going back!
Nothing - we were happy with everything.

Location is great, but the actual room feels like a converted garden room, which is what it is. Facilities only average.

Very cosy and exceptionally clean
Lovely birthday gift for my partner
Dog friendly (although they have a dog so if yours isn't friendly, probably not for you!)
No cooking facilities - would only stay for 1-2 nights
Cannot shower at the same time as other appliances are on - the morning we left the fuse went and we were unable to shower

the location was perfect, it was clean and warm and just utterly perfect
waking up to see red squirrels playing was absolute bliss
nothing, cannot comment on anything bad other than wish we had longer
