Elwood Premier Phu Quoc Review 🌞

During our stay in the Private Bungalow at Elwood Premier Phu Quoc, the intense heat was a significant challenge. Although the rooms were basic, the ample space allowed for comfortable movement. The staff, despite their limited English proficiency, made sincere efforts to assist us and were notably helpful throughout our stay.

Our stay at Elwood Premier Phu Quoc was unfortunately marred by the ongoing construction, which severely limited the amenities available. With no breakfast service, an inoperative restaurant, and only one pool under repair, the overall experience was uncomfortable. Hopefully, once the property's construction is completed, it will offer a more fulfilling stay.

Better staff

Nature, room and the location were great. The people from the kitchen are very sweet, on our last day they even cooked for us some plate of noodles with seafood, since there was pork in almost each dish and we couldn’t eat it. They left a very good impression, thanks to them. On the other hand, the women who worked on the breakfast weren’t nice, at least one of them was very impolite.

Staff are rude in general. One woman at reception gave us such a bad impression. She was also coming to work with the baby. Each time when we were asking her something - she wasn’t helpful at all and her replies were rude, I don’t know maybe it’s a bad English, but she shouldn’t be working there.

great stay. well located. not a huge & too touristy resort. very friendly staff, clean rooms

Staff was extremely friendly and kind. The room was spacious, nice and clean. Restaurant was getting renovated so they offered us another breakfast at the neighbour's resort. They also brought us to the beach by golf cart which was only a couple hundred meters away. resort is large with all the amenities + it's all being redone so brand new! Great deal, can only recommend

Very good

Very nice and responsive stuff. Helped with everything we needed and solved all issues that we faced. Transfer to the beach and to the airport are very convenient. Lovely restaurant nearby, on the way to the beach.

The gym is old and the pool was not very clean, but the renovation is in progress so probably soon everything will be good. Unfortunately the restaurant worked only for breakfast during our stay.

Beautiful resort close to a nice beach

A very nice garden resort with two swimming pools. It was undergoing reconstruction, so it was heavily discounted. Except missing spa and a bar, there was not much inconvenience caused by the work. The staff was very forthcoming and many of them spoke English. They even gave us a room upgrade. The breakfast was amazing. Overall a great value for 30€ per night.

The restaurant only serves breakfast, no lunch or dinner options so you will probably need a motorbike. On Sunday, the place almost shut down - no cleaning of rooms or pools and pools got messy from all the plants and trees around very fast.

The worst experience ever! The huge rat in the room!

There was a huge rat in our room when all the doors and windows were closed. The rooms are old, there are holes in door for mosquitoes. There were contruction works outside about which they don’t tell you anything. Because of the rat we didn’t sleep the hole night and we had to change the hotel. We did not get any refund or apology for this, the hotel just screwed us and the manager waa not helpful at all, even did not meet us. Also they are burning waste outside the hotel and you can smell it. But the huge rat which came to our room through the hole in the bathroom - it was the worst thing ever! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good value for money/You pay what you get

Good value for money in Phu Quoc with comfortable location to the beach and a couple of restaurants in the main road. Two pools. Good size of the rooms (bungalow like).

- They advertise shuttles to Duong Dong Market and bikes. Both non existing. - The breakfast is very plain, no variety almost. - The shuttle to the beach is a little bit unorganized. - They don’t clean/change towels every day.

Breakfast was nice, changed menu every day, The location is good in a quiet area, very friendly and helpful staffs. But almost the coffee shops and restaurants were closed after Covid Pandemic and the restaurant at the resort serves breakfast only so a bit difficult, take a taxi go to the center is the only way and costs a lot money for it

The staff were nice, and the room was quite good but this place doesn’t really deserve a 4 star rating. I suspect it is rather run down post covid. 2 big pools that are very quiet.

It is quite remote, we had to hire scooters to get around since the beach in this area is not very nice. Lots of rubbish. They don’t serve food or drinks except at meal times and the food was not suitable for vegans, so we had to go elsewhere to eat. We ended up moving to Long beach which was so much better

We hope to come back

I liked a lot the tropical garden of the resort. Everything is clean and the staff takes care of every aspect. Also the breakfast is very good (included fresh fruits and fresh juices every day) and I also recived some vegan food when asked. The beach is close and it is not crowded at all. It also has a massage nice spot and a fresh juices spot (the resort has a private part for its tourists).

We liked very much the resort.

Great stay even for longer periods

- The location is great, if you want some quiet and peaceful place to stay. - The Ong Lang Beach is a few hundred meters away and is not crowded and super nice to chill. - The staff is always friendly and willing to help - The clean the areas constantly throughout the day - Two pools!
