Location
Booked a superior double room but it was very small for the pub

It’s near the train station.
Particularly room 17, it’s dark, window has lots of pigeons poo, window curtain dusty, ceiling with spider webs, bed very saggy.

Lovely decor clean rooms. Friendly staff , good location
Shower was just a dribble also slight smell in bathroom

The whole hotel was not anything like the photos. Their room was very small and dirty. The bed was so uncomfortable because the mattress had springs justting upwards. The shower cubicle had the door missing and mouldy mildew all around the bottom curtain. The shower shelf was rusty and horrible. The windows are very rotten and let the wind in and the pigeon noise and smell. The hotel needs starting from top to bottom. Check the web site photo of reception, looks very cozy. All it has now is a couple of plastic tables and chairs, and no other friendly and welcoming compost. Never 3 star should only be 1 .

Very good location right on the front.
We were right at the top of the building, very warm. Towel rail was on full blast and no way of turning it down or off. Supplied us with a old noisy fan that rattled all night. Had to call them up as the shower was terrible, zero pressure and when the lady arrive I was just told to wait as everyone else must be having a shower at the same time and that it’s obviously not a power shower. I said well I can clearly see that. Wall paper on the ceiling falling down. Tv very glitchy and lost complete signal a few times. I also booked with a breakfast but on arrival was asked to pay extra for breakfast.! Over all not happy with are stay.

Good location - quite central
It wasn’t very clean. Lots of mould in the bathroom, the rooms very quite outdated too. For the very similar price you can find more of higher end hotels in the area. The difference is £15-20 per night.

The location was great the rooms were clean. The bed was extremely hard but a few vodkas sorted that.
No staff to meet and greet had to call a number on the front door which took a while to find once I found it the service was prompt. We didn't see a staff member all weekend. Can't comment on breakfast as we choose not to have it. Good value in respect to the cost we got what we paid for

Location beautiful. large bedrooms and bed, bathroom was huge and so happy see the shower was a large size as previous bnb we dated in on same row had shows with a tiny gap to squeeze your self in to the shower. lift available to tackle the stairs if needed. Has own bad with dining area. Very reasonably priced breakfast, all staff pitch in with breakfast service and the staff are like a little familly warm, welcoming and helpful, get to know there guests and remember there likes and dislikes as well as there names.
If lucky enough to book a beach front room on Tuesday evening can watch and listen to salvation army band (I think) play music outside the clock if you are un able (sleeping children) to go out side to watch.
One area of dining room seemed mor luxurious whilst the other side had plastic table and chairs. No call system if reception empty and can’t locate the staff you need to telephone the buildings number. Lovely food but more options for breakfast such as fruit and yoghurt would been nice.
Nothing really that we disliked just personal preference. Jug of water on table at meal times would been nice as we felt bad having to keep asking someone for more water or juice when wanting a refill.

The LOCATION was absolutely perfect... Only 2oo yards from the railway station, and while really close to the heart of the town was quite at night time. We intended to have the hotel BREAKFAST only on the first morning but it was so delicious and the staff so helpful and friendly we breakfasted at the hotel throughout our stay. Excellent value. The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable.
We stayed for 3 nights and the hotel was very quite. During our stay there is nothing we didn't like. I would definitely use the hotel again and recommend it to family and friends.

Excellent location on the seafront, Vicky on reception was fantastic and very friendly and helpful! The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable! Very clean throughout, really enjoyable overnight stay!
Parking is a little walk away and it would be nice if the hotel offered a small discount for parking like other hotels sometimes do. Hotel slightly dated in places but it is an old building and you can tell it’s had a lick of paint and been updated in places.

The communication from the hotel regarding the details and requirements of our stay was exceptional. The hotel is in an amazing central beach location as well as a brief walk to shops and a huge number of other amenities and family attractions. Beautifully clean and full of bright seaside decor, spacious family room with wonderful sea views. The breakfasts are plentiful and delicious to start your days of adventure. Above and beyond care and assistance from hotel staff.
Everything was perfect. Definitely would recommend and return for future stays.
