Gerne wieder, wenn man die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit liebt wie wir.

Es handelte sich um ein eigenstehendes Haus mit viel Platz, einer schönen Aussicht auf einem großem Gelände mit einigen weiteren Ferienhäusern in angemessenem Abstand, des Nachmittags Sichtung von Känguruhs in der Ferne und am See ( vor dem Haus gelegen) vielen verschiedenen Vögeln. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und abgelegen, über eine Schotterstraße zu erreichen, für uns war die Ruhe ideal. Das Frühstück fand sich im Kühlschrank und in den umgebenden Schränken für die 2 Tage zum selberzubereiten, es war alles da und auch ausreichend, eine Flasche Wein vom eigenen Weingut inclusive (sehr lecker).

Ein einziger leichter Kritikpunkt: Das Schlafzimmer hatte keine eigene Klimaanlage, so daß es zumindest warm wurde, durch die großen Räumlichkeiten war es aber gut auszuhalten. Das Wohnzimmer und die offene Küche hatten Klimaanlage und waren rasch und gut zu klimatisieren. Leider kam es nicht zu einem persönlichen Kontakt mit den Weingutbesitzern.

We loved our stay here. We had a wedding close by so it was very convenient and cosy

We loved the quietness and solitude. It was very cosy and so good to relax and recharge withou it being very busy.

Bed could do with an upgrade it was very hard and the out door furniture could do with a bit of a clean

The View was lovely.

Only a Starter Pack of Wood for fire is provided and only June to Aug. You must purchase more. BBQ broken, air-conditioning and oven not working and no compendium instructions.

Peaceful stay with beautiful view and well maintained estate.

The owners take a lot of pride in their property keeping the massive estate well maintained, as well as the accommodation itself. The views were lovely and peaceful with some nice bird life. It is a great place to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

Having wifi on the property would be great in the evenings to be able to watch netflix. There was normal TV and foxtel I just prefer netflix. Despite the above minor issue I am giving it 5 stars as while it would have slightly improved our experience it was one of the best places we have stayed it. Absolutely beautiful and well looked after.

Excellent quality stay in a picturesque private location in the Hunter

The breakfast was excellent! Such a great way to start the day. The views were incredible and it all felt pretty private. We also found the location of the stay convenient for getting around the Hunter. The bed was excellent as well and we appreciated the notes on the area provided.

Although it started off amusing, the property dog barking at all the birds in the morning did become a little annoying. We also moved some couches around to enjoy the view better and discovered some roaches and bugs under the couch that hadn't been reached with a good vacuum.

Perfect little get away

Perfect little get away to relax and wind down. Staff were prompt and amazing to deal with. The horses were so cute and friendly. Loved feeding them a sneaky carrot.

The only down fall is there was no oil to cook but easily fixed with a quick drive to the shop.

The balcony and chairs where we had tea in the morning. The main bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Great air-conditioner.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable due to too many springs. The exhaust fan in the bathroom needs to be stronger, it takes a while to get rid of the steam.

Overall it was ok but there are plenty of other places to stay that do better and for a better price

The breakfast was good as they left bacon and eggs and bread for us to cook up each morning

The property is very dated and definitely not worth $300 a night. The overall views are great but there are cobwebs all over the place and it just needs a good spring clean. Would not even attempt to cook on the BBQ out the back as it was disgusting.

the property is peaceful with nice views of the mountains with a pretty lake in front of the cottages. the cottage we stayed in had a nice homely feel which included all necessities. the cottage was also very spacious.

the lighting in the living areas is very bright, it would have been great if some lamps were available in the living areas for a dim lighting option. the cottage wasn’t kept clean, the windows were very dirty and some features on the property are a bit run down- nothing too bad however.

absolutely beautiful location and everything was well presented, clean and welcoming

The villa was very spacious and everything you needed was there. The view out tothe dam was stunning and the whole weekend was very relaxing. The breakfast provided and bottle of wine was a perfect touch. The rose was amazing

it needs wifi as the phone reception is quite slow. the patio area could also use a spring clean.

The Villa was roomy, the spa bath in the bedroom was a really great addition for our stay. Two cute Shetland ponies on site.

We came after a bout of heavy rain and the main road to access the property was flooded. We still had to drive through a small patch of flooded road to access the property.
