Great location, but disappointing breakfast experience.

Blanco B&B is a delightful accommodation. What makes Blanco B&B stand out is its exceptional location in the heart of the historic city. Its proximity to two of Trani's most iconic landmarks, the castle and the cathedral, is a definite plus. Blanco B&B is situated in a lively neighbourhood where locals reside, which provides guests with the opportunity to experience the authentic and popular life of the city.

The bed and breakfast's decision to serve breakfast at a local bar was disappointing. The bar's food and drink options were limited, and the quality was subpar. Additionally, the bar was always crowded, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful and leisurely start to the day.

Great location

Great location, recently decorated and a comfy bed. Roof terrace is big, it’s shared which I hadn’t realised and furniture looks cool but is pretty uncomfortable to sit on

A few simple and cheap changes would make a world of difference. There’s a fridge which is great, but nothing to have any drinks from / with. I had to buy disposable cups and a bottle opener. Breakfast is available at nearby cafe but it’s nice to have a drink when you want one so a kettle and cups would make a big difference

La stanza ottima e pulita, grande, ben illuminata, all'intero c'era anche una divano. Vicinissimo alla Cattedrale. Staff gentile e cordiale. Ottima comunicazione con la struttura che mi ha risposto ad ogni mia singola richiesta e domanda. La struttura per la colazione si serve ad un bar dove i dipende e/o proprietari sono persone anch'esse gentili e disponibili

Uscire dalla struttura per fare colazine al bar e non avere una colazione a buffet, ma si ci passa sopra visto la gentilezza dei camerieri e proprietari sia del bar sia della struttura

A modern newly furbished one bedroom apartment in a great town location - it was small for 4 people - very comfortable b

This is smack bang in the middle of Trani which is a beautiful seaside town

We arrived on a very hot day and the air conditioning was off!!! We had to put our bags down and leave

Very good

The apartment is very tasteful, spacious and clean. It is situated in the lovely old town, near the harbour, restaurants, cafes and nearby attractions. It's a good base to visit Alberobello, Bari or Matera. Maria is a nice, friendly and a very helpful host. She helped us a lot with every problem we had. Wherever we wrote her, even late in the evening - she replied. We appreciate it so much.

The breakfast in the nearby cafe - it was the same every day. Just a small crossaint with coffee or milk for kids. Everything else is extra paid. The first day we took juices for kids and got the bill for the extra payment. However, we wrote to Maria and she arranged everything. The kids had juices for free to the end of our stay. So, the breakfast is more like a dessert after breakfast, not the breakfast itself. If you are travelling with kids, the closest safe and pleasant beach is about 1,4 km away.

Maria, our contact-person, was really kind and helpful. she kept in constant touch asking if everything was ok and maki

it was secluded but at the same time just round the corner from the sea. There were only 2 rooms, ours was the largest, and a private roof terrace which was a Godsend after a day‘s exploring . we spent quite a lot of time up there enjoying the sun !

There could have been a small shelf in the shower-room for our shower-gel.Other than that we were very happy !

A perfect B&B to explore Trani

Felice was very helpful in meeting us and guiding us to the rooms. He kept in contact by WhatsApp message which we found convenient. The rooms are very central to everything in Trani, tucked away from any traffic or noise. Once the car is parked, you can walk everywhere. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops all over. We had breakfast at a typical Italian bar around the corner using a voucher system. It is a continental breakfast - coffee and a croissant. The air conditioning was very welcome. The room decor is very modern and clearly the rooms were recently done. Our room had a big double and two extra single beds made into day-beds, so we imagine that you could have a family stay. There are stairs to the rooms so not suitable for everyone. We loved the roof top, which is a lovely place to enjoy reading a book or having an aperitif.

We had to ask for glasses for our water. I think a drinking glass should be standard, so this is something I would encourage them to do. There is no kettle or coffee making facilities, but we were not concerned about this. Other than that, we were very happy. Trani is an amazing place to explore and the castle has been renovated recently. The food options are outstanding. I can recommend Blanco B&B.

Perfect place for a short stay with a family

We stayed only one night and this is an ideal spot for visiting beautiful Trani with children (11-8). The location is great with free parking space around the corner, all sightseeing within walking distance while in a very quiet street (we were in the separate building). The communication with the staff was very easy and dynamic. Our kids loved breakfast in the bar next door as it provides instant holiday feeling..

From the very start it was a pleasurable experience! Maria made everything sure concerning my arrival, hospitality from the heart and also having breakfast (created by Antonio) in a bar just 200 meters from the apartment (with garden view and super quiet) completed this memorable stay 😊

Very nice stay!

We’ve stayd in Blanco 5 nights. Loved the location in Centro Storico - 12 min. walk to the train station, 5 min. walk to the port, but in the silent spot. Very specious apartment, clean and small fridge is very nice add on. Breakfast has been served in fantastic place, simple, but enough to start the day! And coffee was delicious! Maria is very nice and helpful host! Recommended!

“Separate building”

Nearer the water, church and castle than the main property, I think. Young woman who checked us in was quite helpful.

We opted for a room in a “separate building”, which was fine, but it is quite far from the actual B&B, so can’t comment on “the property” or what the surrounding neighbourhood is like.
