Do quarto, dos funcionários, das amizades construídas.
Da falta de limpeza constante, dos banheiros, de uma maior rigidez quanto aos horários de silêncio e limpeza daquilo que se suja.

Good location, beautiful dog, big room with air con
Kitchen was a bit dirty and many of the cooking utensils and pans were dirty/not cleaned properly

Location.
Not many English speakers, actually only one of the staff spoke some English. I extended my stay with two nights and paid in cash, but after realizing that the place was almost empty and that no one really speaks English I decided to leave a day early. I was promised a refund through bank transfer but after two days I didn't see any refund so I contacted them again. Also it was a bit strange that the amount was taken down 33% due to taxes, bank fees etc. But ok. After reaching. Them again, now the story was that I can't get the refund through bank transfer and that I need to have Pix or come get it in person. But as I'm a solo traveller without Brazilian ID etc. I can't ofc receive in Pix and can't travel 24hours+ to pick it up. Of course they understand that since I'm not brazilian I also won't have a Brazilian bank account. That's why I asked to have the cash back before I left since that was my original form of payment. That's how these things normally work. Very unprofessional and so I can't recommend this place unfortunately.

Amazing place to stay. Great neighborhood. Good atmosphere. Lots of room, if you want to hang in a common area to socialize or chillax on a hammock, you can. Amazing staff there. Very good vibe/energy. 10/10 recommend

Large areas all around the hostel, double room was spacious, no private bathroom but the shared ones were decent, close to the beach

I really appreciated this place ! Mostly because the staff is great, super friendly and welcoming. The hostel itself is beautiful and ultra convenient. Location is perfect, 5 min walking distance for anything you might need : food, drink, bank, and of course the beach ... I recommend this place 100%

Beautiful hostel with a lot of space, nicest volunteers on earth ❤️

Great priced hostel for a one night stay before taking a ferry out the islands. Communal atmosphere with shared kitchen and a lovely living room come outdoor dining. Basic rooms to be expected.
Small improvements can make a big difference in the private rooms. Pillows were next to useless and felt like a handful of golf balls dropped into a pillow case, so we used our travel ones is instead. If you’re not looking to socialise I’d recommend staying in an airport hotel or close to the port.

That's a family property. It's a mansion from decades ago. So, you will feel yourself in a kind of art galery or museum. Great location. It's a special energy where everyone becomes friends. I loved everything. 🙏 ♥
They don't provide towels. You should take yours.

The staff was very nice, it was kept clean, I liked the charisma of the house, the outdoor area.
The bunk beds. I won the lottery and had the middle berth (of 3 horizontally above each other) and there was no good way to enter the bed. The ladder is placed right in the middle of the short side and there's no space left for a person to enter.
Also, with such high ceilings the beds might have been taller so one could actually sit up in bed.
Also, my bed and around was the only place without any wifi connection. Wifi that I could catch outside of the hostel on the street but not in the room.

Nice location in Barra
The atmosphere was little bit boring
