Fabulous location, stunning view
Special feature, outside terrace which is hard to find in the village, which is my reason for selection.
Very comfortable bed
excellent shower
Good quality wine in the honesty bar fridge (we are in the wine trade, so know whats what)
Lack of supplies (which is tricky) as there are no convenience stores in the village (that we know of), as we never have transport) that is key.
Only half a roll of kitchen towel on arrival
No cremant (as listed on the wine list)
Only one toilet roll over at the end of our stay
Only 3 wine glasses (could not invite our couple of friends over for a drink), I did notice broken glass on the floor, so maybe the previous guest broke one.
Only 2 small (however very elegant) Champagne coups, flutes would be appreciated
Only 10 coffee pods, my husband drinks two coffees a day, so there was none for me
Would have appreciated a broom to keep the terrace tidy.
Messaged the property with a query via Booking.com the week before, did not get a response

Too small bathrooms and very underground!

The most beautiful historic home in the perfect location. There is the best view of the sunrise from the kitchen and living space! The home feels authentic and every corner is just beautiful

Extreme location (in a good way!)
In the middle of the old town.
The most uniqe place in our trip
Driving trough tiny streets to get to the house, very Uniqe.
Wasnt clean. We had a group of hairs on our sheets and insects were "traveling" on the blanket.
A lot of original objects makes the space feels dirty.
IT IS NOT FOR CLAUSTROPHOBIC OR TALL PEOPLE!
No private parking avilable. You'll need some luck to find a parking spot.
We were 4 people, in the height of 1.77 - 1.92 meters and we felt its not for our measurements. We stucked our heads in the celings 3 times.

excellent location in the old part of Saint Paul de Vence, very close to a parking area

Amazing experience to stay in a house like this. The decoration and interior were so elegant. Very serene to just hang out inside the house. I would go back.
watch your head! we are a tall family and hit our heads a few times in the stairs. Also, didn't realize this house was a major tourist attraction. During August there was always quite a few people outside taking pictures so we could not use the front terrace. Some people even came inside the gate.

Property is incredibly charming with a whimsical floor plan that was quite enchanting. It would not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues, as there are many levels to the property. We'd walked past earlier in the day, without realizing that this "poet's home" was in fact La Miette.
Without A/C in 90F degree weather, we needed to run a fan all night; I'm a light sleeper, so the noise of the fan prevented a meaningful sleep, but this doesn't negate the charm of the stay.

Just the best accommodation I've ever had. Really cool decor and whole house itself is just a wonder. Didnt get bored just staying inside the house. Sad i had to leave this wonderful house and France becuz of lockdown

Historic scenery, old-fashioned but stylish & just something special in between all those classy appartments. St Paul de Vence is pure magic and by far the most outstanding experience we took in a while. Not to forget that Jacques Prévert used to live in this tiny house, which is fully covered with ivy.
Nothing to complain about, just go there & do the experience on your own. Maybe you shouldn't be afraid of tourists, that like to take photos of the scenery, because Jacques was one of the most popular poets in France.

It’s an amazing location in a quaint medieval town; house is very unique layout, funky, well appointed with terrific views. Bathroom is a subterranean wonder. Owner/ manager very helpful and responsive. Really beautiful.
We enjoyed our stay but guests should be aware that the house is a big tourist attraction and there is a steady stream of gawking tourists taking photos, sitting on the wall around the small patio, posing and, at times, coming right in to get a picture. Owner should post a private property sign. Beware that if you like privacy this is not the place for you.
The indoor common space is lovely but less spacious than it appears in the photos.
Also the beautiful tile bathroom floors and steps are dangerously slippery when wet — just be careful.
