Location is close to fabulous beaches and the old town. Amazing fitness and spinning facilities, which got great use during our stay. The food was very good and served all day. Staff were very helpful and hardworking 😀 Facilities are kept clean everywhere.
The breakfast area was a bit manic with so many people. Our apartment was fine but lacked a few features like a sink beside the fridge, shelves/ more hanging space & aircon was faulty. Beds were on the hard side for my liking, but the others didn't mind.

Only minus. Phone is room didn’t work throughout the visit.
Lovely location. Lovely property. Good breakfast layout.

Curat,

The staff were friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The location was just near old town and within walking distance to the convenience store.
The big pool was under maintenance, which was not mentionned when booking as that was one of the main reasons to stay here. The kid's pool was still open but too shallow to swim.

Lovely hotel. Breakfast was very good and dining staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is close to the old town, about 20 minute walk. Uphill walk on return. Apartment was everything one would want with balcony overlooking pool. Very nice

Great location, easy walk to old town and nearby beaches (which would be very crowded mid-summer). Recently renovated room which was a good size however had the bare minimum furniture in the living area.
Swimming pool & laundry facilities were not open as expected (needs to be clear when booking). We booked for the pools and only the shallow pool was open so we were disappointed.
Rooms soulless - some artwork would be nice!
It wouldn’t suit a couple in peak season - too big (600 guests) & would have lots of children!

The room was spacious, clean and a great balcony onto the pool and nice breakfast.
The pools were cold and one was closed and needed cleaning.

Kid Club services are the top. The girls working there have done great activities with the kids. My boy has enjoyed the kid club.
the breakfast choices were limited.

No issue getting sunbeds any time of day. Kids club was relaxed, kids could pop in and out through out the day.
Some ants in the room but room was cleaned every day.

I chose this hotel because it was conveniently located near Old Town Lagos, boasted large swimming pools (a plus considering the cold Atlantic Ocean waters in the area's beaches), and offered parking, which was crucial for our plans to explore the numerous beaches by car during the day and the charming old town on foot in the evenings, enjoying terraces and Vino Verde. Unfortunately, these were the only positive aspects of our stay. The parking couldn't be reserved in advance, but luckily, we managed to find availability upon check-in.
Booked as a 4-star hotel with appealing pictures and a price over 220 euros per night (including Genius level 3 discount), I had high expectations. However, many of the pictures turned out to be a scam. The check-in process was a maddening ordeal lasting an excruciating hour and a half, handled by untrained staff.
Once inside the room, the horror continued. It bore no resemblance to the website images. The floor was grimy, doors peeled, walls stained, drapes riddled with holes, and towels frayed. The bathroom was a disaster, with a filthy bathtub and twin beds that moved perilously when sat upon. Even the safe lacked a proper lock, a mere facade to uphold its 4-star classification. Attempts to communicate via the phone were futile, with a perpetually busy line.
The situation escalated when I approached the staff, hoping for a resolution. But they offered little support and barely fulfilled my basic requests. The housekeeping was unreliable, and on days I did not request a clean room, no one bothered to enter, not even to replace towels. The towels provided were in such disarray that I resorted to purchasing new ones from the city. To add insult to injury, their "amenities" were laughable, nowhere near the standard expected from a 4-star establishment.
The morning breakfast was another disappointment. As if these numerous letdowns were not enough, the hotel's bar and restaurant were mere facades, non-functional and useless. Staff interactions were equally disappointing, marked by poor communication and a lack of solutions to any issues.
The pool area, though promising, fell victim to negligence. Broken sun loungers, missing tiles in the pool, and a poorly maintained skimmer raised serious doubts about water quality and sanitation.
In summary, this hotel was an absolute nightmare. I am deeply disappointed and cannot find a single moment to enjoy during my stay.

Room cleaned every day fresh towels every day and separate pool towels provided. Very good breakfast with good choice and excellent selection of fresh fruit. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location good 10 minutes walk to old town or the beach.
As it’s an Aparthotel it would have been nice to have an iron in the room as the only one available was in a communal area quite a walk away. More umbrellas needed when sunbathing. Pool area and sun beds maybe need a wee revamp.

great location for beach and the town, so best of both worlds. we could walk everywhere! excellent gym facilities on site and huge pool area with plenty of beds. staff were very friendly and accommodating despite being a little slow at times. huge big room with kitchenette and lots of lounge space with lovely balcony!
annoyingly the key cards did not always work on the access door to rooms or the bedroom door itself which meant trekking back to reception to get them recoded…this happened at least once daily if not twice which was a bit frustrating

Absolutely nothing. In a three week stay in Portugal this was the worst hotel we stayed at. It was so bad, we checked out after only one night (instead of the planned five night stay). The only decent thing was there is parking close to the property.
Everything. The photos on booking.com do not accurately represent the rooms in the property. The manager himself admitted that there were significantly nicer rooms (I presume these are the ones that are photographed for the websites). The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, there were cracked tiles and fittings falling off in the bathroom, and it felt like we had been catfished.
There is a gym and sauna area in the property (or perhaps an adjacent property accessible through a door on the property) but the sauna was totally run down, and only accessible down a maze of dark and desolate hallways. Perhaps most concerning was the lack of safety with this facility because it was accessible to people who were not staying in the hotel and who had not obtained the security bracelet from the gym check-in desk.
The property photos are completely deceiving. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet was very sad, with minimal variety, and items that typically would be served hot (i.e. fried eggs) were only luke warm.

Great pool, very big rooms that make you feel home. Not the corporate sterility of other hotels thay look like a lobby even in the room.
Great breakfast. Very good gym. It is a commercial gym in the same building. Therefore it has everything and it is quite big too.
Very pleasent stay
Toilet paper is very very thin and you might run out of it as they dont give you enough. It is so thin and cheap even if folded 3 times it is not enough. Really does not fit the rest of the hotel.

Very clean, lovely pool area. Had to upgrade our room, as the standard room was definitely not good very poor furnishings, the upgrade cost more but was exceptional.
Standard room definitely a big disappointment. Longer than expected walk to centre.

Very nice hotel, pool area clean and nice. Our room was really nice. Staff was incredible, my husband had an accident and broke his leg and we got so much support from all in the staff, fantastic. Besides that all staff was always friendly and helpful. Location is nice but and it's easy to walk down to the old town, however a hill to walk upwards to get back. All in all, we were happy with our stay.
nothing, all fine

Nice staff, clean place, and good location.
Could be slightly cheaper but not terribly expensive compared to other options.
